Came here for brunch. Guy that helped me at the counter acted like my presence was a total inconvenience. I ordered the eggs Benedict. The potatoes were not exactly warm. Totally serves its purpose! Good food served fast, reasonably priced, right next to Toyota Music Pavilion. I wanted to grab a quick bite before a concert. Tried a couple other spots nearby and they were on a 1+ hour wait. Kitchen 101 perfectly fit the bill! Nice fast casual atmosphere, good service, no wait. In and out in maybe 30 min (and that's at peak time right before an event). The food was really tasty! Again, the point here is speed and convenience. It's not Michelin star fare, but it was yummy and I wasn't hungry later. I also appreciate that the portions aren't enormous bc heading to an event you're not taking it with you. read more

This place is a fantastic place to get some good food and drinks! Me and my cousins stopped by here to check it out and they didn't disappoint!! We had a AWESOME conversation with the manager there, his name is Onix. He was super knowledgeable and friendly and a great host. This place has a mix of different types of food but when we went it was more American. The meat plate I had was tasty and simple and my cousin had the chicken rotisserie pizza which was really good. I would definitely go back to this place to try their food since it is seasonal. Its like a fast food idea when ordering but you get a full restaurant feel sitting inside! Go try this place out! They were completely understaffed. With a huge concert happening right next door on a National holiday. They prioritized to go orders and the kitchen staff cooked whatever they wanted in whatever order. The line manager was working his butt off trying to stay in control but he was working with his hands tied behind his back. He asked for dishes 5-6 times and the line cooks never complied. They were busing tables rather than getting food out when no one was waiting on table. I get it, it's hard to find help but the owners and the GM of this place should plan better. read more

This is a counter service restaurant, which we weren't quite expecting walking in. We were there on a Thursday night at 7pm and it was very quite. The menu is fairly varied - they have items Ranging from healthy shareables, lots of sandwich options, grill options, and then they have this weird pizza menu with three options that all sound unappealing - rotisserie chicken, grilled veggie, and meatball pizza. Not even a regular pizza option, so that's a strangle couple of options to have. The sides range from various veggie options to starchy carb options. The desserts are lackluster. We got the banana pudding tacos and they just kind of fell short. The meals were pretty good. I do really like the decor, I think this would be a good place to meet a friend here for a quick lunch. It has more of a market feel than a restaurant feel. read more

We came to this brunch spot on a slow Saturday morning, there was only one other couple in the restaurant. My mom ordered a medium latte with caramel. We then sat at our table and finished our food in about 30 minutes and never received the coffee. I went to remind them about the latte they said it should be out soon. We waited for another 15 minutes and never received anything, meanwhile all the employees were standing in a corner on their phones laughing. My mom went to remind them once more of the latte and they said it would be out shortly. A few minutes later the manager comes to our table asking what kind of coffee we had ordered. I told him a medium caramel latte. He later came back with a 3 1/2 inch small latte. At that point we had waited too long and just left. read more

It was just a Keto salad which was mostly spinach leaves. How long does that take to make? Then it was another 20 minutes before the fourth plate arrived, a pizza. How awkward. Does one begin eating when not everyone has their food. We mostly waited and had to eat cold food. Overall, the portions are small and the room is noisy with the open kitchen concept and all the hard surfaces for sound bounce. It is not the place for a relaxing meal. We stopped here on the way to DFW airport and searched for a nicely rated eatery. There are quite a few places to choose from at this venue, but we're pleased with our choice. I had the sourdough club, and my wife and daughter split a specialty burger and salad. Both meals were excellent and quite filling (we had leftovers for the plane!). You can see the effort the staff provided in the food presentation and their prompt service. We can see why this unique eatery was rated so well. Do not waste your money or time coming here. My friend and I had to send our food back. Hers was undercooked and mine was cold.

From the time we opened the door to come in, we were personally greeted by the chef and a wonderful fragrance of a wood fired grill. We went for Sunday brunch and were not disappointed. Every item we tried... was just exceptional. Each menu item was so well balanced, fresh, and healthy. We will certainly will be back. My wife said she was coming for morning coffee tomorrow! i have to speak in caps because it was that good. walking by 2 weeks ago the server told us to come in and try the food. we were indecisive but she kept saying it was really good. omg she was beyond right. the service is amazing, food amazing , very clean and chef pete is amazing. we literally go twice a week. last week we came twice in a day. got the chicken skewers, steak skewers, rotisserie chicken and grilled asparagus. amazing down to the down to the homemade sauces. please never change. definitely worth every penny! read more

Sometimes we do need help and a little kindness from strangers. The staff at Kitchen 101 gave it to me this am. I was staying at a nearby hotel without a car and it was raining. I walked to Kitchen 101 to get breakfast because they were supposed to be open at 7 according to Yelp. When I got there, the door was open but I was informed they actually start business at 8. Mario and Rosa let me buy coffee AND Mario, the wonderful chef, made me an egg sandwich. My freshly made breakfast sandwich was fantastic. Coffee was fresh and strong. Price was absolutely reasonable. The 2 of them were genuine, delightful and kind. Travelers (and locals) - go there if you want excellent food, superb service and a clean and contemporary dining area. I do come to Dallas regularly so see you next time! read more

Just had a beer and tots at Kitchen 101. Their kegs have been down for over a week and the beer that I did have was not cold. The place was empty. The tots were good. Great flavor but there were ONLY 5 and they were $12. The service was good, but this place needs a manager to ensure that the beer is cold and the taps are working. Not a fan. The food here is really quite wonderful. We were in town for a week, and came here two nights. We had the Elote, Ranch Tortilla Chips, Black Beans, Power Bowl with Salmon, and the Greenz and Vegez with Salmon. The lemons at the drink station were old and the tea was strong. We ordered fries and he left them off ticket. When they delivered the food he said he forgot to charge for fries and if We wanted some he'd need our card. Went ahead and reorder $2 each for 2 orders and he chg $4 for one order. The server said it was one order but at this point we weren't going to go through the hassle of refund for $2. The fries were hot and tasty! Decided to try this place out. It has 4.5 stars but definitely not worth $40 we spent on food here. We got the street tacos, which were alright. The chicken was over cooked to the point some ends were hard. Got there Mac and cheese, not cheesy enough. There chicken skewers are sad looking and disgusting. Just plain chicken on a skewer and it looks like they just fried them and no seasoning. Then ordered elote and it had a sweet taste to it. Elote should not be sweet.
