My husband and I traveled from the warm south to Fargo North Dakota in January. We couldn't have done the trip without Kit Lender's gear. As a plus size girl I loved they were size inclusive. We were planning to snowmobile, snowshoe, and ice fish. All activities requiring cold weather gear. We ordered the gear as soon as we booked the plane tickets (October). I sized up on my snow pants and jacket but didn't on my husband's and I wish I had. We were wearing bulky layers underneath and the extra room was nice for me but my husband found it difficult to zip his jacket with all his layers. My biggest recommendation is to SIZE UP everything including boots. You can wear something too big but not too small. Our boots did not fit us at all (we booked our normal sizes). I wound up wearing my husband's boots and he wore the boots he packed for the trip. Thankfully he packed heated socks he uses for hunting and that compensated. The gloves also ran small. I should have ordered XL for me and whatever the largest size they had for my husband. I got an email when the gear shipped and an email when it arrived at the hotel. I called the hotel both times to let them know to expect it and to confirm it had arrived and they were fine holding it for us (the box arrived Monday and we arrived Friday). Normally we book Airbnbs but we went with a hotel because of this shipment. I also got the names of everyone one I talked to just as an added safety precaution. The gear was clean and well packed. I was impressed they included packing tape for when we had to box it back up. You couldn't tell they were gently used. We wore the jackets the most. Ironically there wasn't much snow on the ground due some weird weather and our snowmobiling and snowshoe activities were cancelled so we only wore the full gear ice fishing. I would definitely use this service again but I would SIZE UP everything. read more

I recently had the pleasure of using Kit Lender for a skiing trip, and I couldn't be happier with the service they provided. From start to finish, the experience was seamless and exceeded my expectations. First and foremost, the selection of rental gear was impressive. They offer top-quality brands and ensure that all equipment is in excellent condition. I rented a complete ski package, and everything was clean, well-maintained, and fitted perfectly. It saved me the hassle of lugging my own gear or dealing with the uncertainties of renting on-site. The ordering process was straightforward, thanks to their user-friendly website. The sizing guide was accurate, and I felt confident in my choices. What really stood out, though, was the attention to detail in their packaging. The gear arrived in a durable and well-organized package, making it easy to pack for my trip. The convenience of the pre-paid return label made the end of the trip just as stress-free as the beginning. I simply packed up the gear in the same box it came in, slapped on the provided label, and dropped it off at the nearest shipping location. No need to worry about return shipping costs or finding a specific drop-off point. Customer service was exceptional throughout the process. I had a couple of questions before placing my order, and their responsive and friendly support team quickly addressed my concerns. It's clear that Kit Lender values its customers and is dedicated to providing a positive experience. Overall, Kit Lender made my ski trip much more enjoyable by taking the hassle out of renting equipment. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of quality gear with a side of excellent customer service. I'll definitely be using Kit Lender for my future adventures! read more

I recently took a trip to Breckenridge and used Kit Lender. As Floridians, to say our winter gear was lacking would be an understatement. From beginning to end the process was easy and reliable. From the moment I placed the order the Kit Lender team was in communication, including confirming a color change and giving me a "final" call to confirm sizes and selected kits (we ordered full kits). The kit arrived a day ahead of schedule and was waiting for us upon arrival (as Kit Lender suggests, definitely check with your rental agency/resort about receiving packages, as this helped for us to arrange to have it at our rented house). The gear provided was exceptional (including some items with the tags still on). I rented for myself (a woman) and my 7 year old son. In addition to what we ordered they sent a special "kit" with hand warmers, chapstick, and tissues, which definitely came in handy in the negative temperatures! Just as easy as ordering and arrival, to return the kits the instructions couldn't have been clearer. Including packing tape (which I never would have thought of) to repack the gear and send back. We didn't end up scheduling the FedEx pickup, but instead (due to check out time constraints and wanting to get some extra early morning runs in) chose to drop off at a FedEx office. I highly recommend (and in fact already have) Kit Lender. They not only saved us $$ on not having to buy all the gear (that inevitably my child would not fit into next year) but saved on packing space. read more

As a relatively new skier, I was feeling a bit overwhelmed trying to figure out all the gear I'd need for my trip to Vail. Kit Lender was an absolute lifesaver! The fact that they offer full ski clothing rentals, from base layers to jackets and everything in between, was incredibly helpful. I loved having multiple outfit options for the weekend - it made packing so much easier. The biggest win for me was not having to lug all those bulky clothes on the plane. Kit Lender delivered my gear straight to my door in Vail, and I have to give them huge props for their flexibility. I booked my rental just two days before my trip, and they still managed to get everything to me on time! When the weekend was over, I simply shipped the gear back while I was returning my skis - talk about convenient! Beyond the convenience, I was really impressed with the quality of the clothing. Everything was in excellent condition, fit perfectly, and was actually quite stylish. It made me feel confident and comfortable on the slopes. I can't recommend Kit Lender enough, especially for newer skiers like myself who want a hassle-free and high-quality rental experience. They took a lot of the stress out of preparing for my trip, allowing me to focus on enjoying the skiing! read more

I recently had the pleasure of using Kit Lender for my ski vacation, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. From the moment we booked our gear to the moment it arrived at our hotel, everything was seamless and hassle-free. One of the things that impressed me the most was the convenience of having our package waiting for us upon arrival. It made our trip planning so much smoother knowing that we didn't have to worry about lugging bulky gear with us or spending precious vacation time shopping for equipment. Not only was the delivery process efficient, but the gear itself exceeded our expectations. Every piece fit perfectly, and it was evident that the equipment was of high quality. From the jackets to the boots, everything was in pristine condition. What sets Kit Lender apart is their commitment to customer satisfaction and convenience. Their user-friendly website made it easy to select the gear we needed, and their responsive customer service team was always available to answer any questions we had. Overall, I can't recommend Kit Lender enough. If you're planning an outdoor destination vacation, do yourself a favor and give them a try. This has to be one of the best companies I've ever done business with. The customer service was absolutely outstanding - the team went far above my expectations to make sure I had the gear I needed for my trip. I was terrified when I placed my order, as standard "measurements/size charts" to determine my size have always proven to be hit or miss . I have trouble fitting into "normal" sizes, so to say I was apprehensive would be an understatement. Not only did Bryan Davis, the rep that assisted me with my order exhibit extreme patience and provide essential input to help me make my final decision (and have confidence in the decision I made), but stayed involved, from beginning to end, to ensure that my order and his knowledge of my needs be carried through the to produce that suited me best. The gear was in phenomenal condition (my gloves still had the tags on) and exactly what I needed. I asked Bryan to help me "blend in" with the locals so I wouldn't look like a total rookie. He delivered big time on all of my requests. I'm telling everyone I can about Kit Lenders. You guys helped give me one of the best weekend of my life! Thank you! read more

Last minute trip to Angel Fire, NM for Thanksgiving and never even bothered to look at the temps until the Monday before. Forecasting 4-6" of snow with temps in the teens. Got on line and found Kit Lender and thought why not give it a shot. With being so close to the holiday we were worried it wouldn't make it on Wednesday- the day before Thanksgiving. Well Mother Nature didn't cooperate and a storm hit the east coast as the same time the Rockies was getting fresh snow so the delivery got pushed a day - no ones issue and we had plenty of time. The gear got to us on Friday and we were overly impressed with the packaging and organization of the clothes. We suited up - and all 5 of us from boots to googles played in 11° weather with 8" of new snow without getting the least bit cold. After we were done we used the same packaging and drop them at a FedEx office and all was done. These guys have made one of the most expensive and tenuous parts cold weather vacations a simple easy process - we will be using Kit Lender again. read more

My family went on a vacation in the US and we had our kits sent to our aunts address in NJ. It was so easy to bring it with us since they came in a single box that we could bring to the airport with us going to Colorado. I rented a "kit" that had jacket, boots, gloves, goggles, and ski pants with it. Basically everything that I needed for a trip to a snowy place that we don't have in our country. So convenient since I had no idea about what I needed. When we got back to Jersey, it was easy to return too since the box had what we needed to pack it back up, like tape and the return label. FedEx picked the package up later on and it was done and dusted. Convenience at its finest. Renting the stuff was pretty cheap too. Only charged us like, $300++ for a small family where it would have cost me an arm and a leg for an outfit that I would only be using once in my whole life (probably lol) Thank you again guys! read more

While I'm a lifelong skiier, I made the rookie move of coming up to Stowe for a ski weekend with all of my gear except my ski coat. (Nice one!) I realized this was a costly mistake as I'd have to buy a new one. I tried a few stores in town that were really picked over with limited selection, until I stopped in Kit Lender's. I was initially surprised it isn't actually a typical retail store, but actually a gear rental score, which turned out to be exactly what I needed! Their selection was seemingly endless and well organized, the staff was incredibly friendly and after finding me the perfect coat, Sally even texted me some restaurant recommendations for my fiancé's birthday weekend! Rentals were VERY reasonably priced, but I actually loved the coat so much, I ended up purchasing it! My husband and I wanted to go camping but only own a tent. I Googled camping gear rental and Kit Lender popped up. Although they are based in Vermont and we are in Idaho, the cost to rent the items and have them mailed to us seemed very affordable. Wow, were we impressed by the quality of the gear as well as the ease of ordering and returning the gear. We ordered the 2 person car camping kit and everything was new or like new and very high quality (The North Face, Yeti, JetBoil..). All items were delivered in 2 boxes a few days before our trip and the same boxes are used to return the gear back to Kit Lender with prepaid labels. Customer Service (Forrest, Sam and Sarah) was outstanding and helped us personalize our order since we already owned a tent. I was honestly a bit skeptical at first...about renting snow gear, especially in the middle of a pandemic and so last minute. However, Kit Lender knocked it out of the park! I spoke with Tyler and Sam about a bunch of questions I had and they were beyond helpful. The kit came exactly as predicted...a day before my rental started (FedEx tracking was accurate almost to the minute!). The gear looked all pretty much brand new, and everything fit according to the size guide descriptions. They tell you to keep the box for when you return your rentals, and they provide you with the label (already paid for!) to ship it back anddd tape strips to tape up the box. This is the second year we have used Kit Lender as a family for skiing needs. We live in Florida and we ski once a year. Or kids are young and still growing so we don't see the value in buying them new ski apparel every year. We have had the BEST experience with Kit Lender. The name brand clothing they offer is top notch. This year the ski pants they sent our youngest son were brand new with the tags still on them. All the other gear, that included jackets, gloves, and googles, were all like new. I could not tell anyone had used them prior. Such a smart concept, I'm so impressed with Kit Lender! I rarely ski, so I don't own any ski gear and I'm not interested in purchasing expensive gear that I'll use maybe once every 3 or 4 years. Enter Kit Lender! Everyone I worked with was very helpful and friendly. Our ski trip was in March, and the forecast was for very warm weather, so they helped point me in the direction of a ski jacket with a removable insulated inner jacket so I could stay cool and comfortable. The package arrived right on time the day before our first ski day, and they include very easy instructions for how to re-pack your kit and send it back. They even included tape to re-seal the box! We just used Kit Lender on a trip from Texas to Park City. We didn't have snow pants, boots, or ski goggles for our youngest (5), and it didn't make sense to buy all that for one trip when he'd certainly out grow it all before he could use it again. So we decided to give Kit Lender a try, and it worked out great. All of the gear was in great condition (a couple items had tags still), the package arrived early, and the return was simple. Note that they shipped the gear FedEx ground. I noticed some reviews saying their stuff didn't arrive on time, and I suspect the variability of Ground was the issue. I'd recommend booking early for a trip so the shipment has plenty of time to get the destination. read more

In addition to our kits the package also contained tape to seal back the box and a shipping label to return the items back. The package arrived well before we got to our hotel. We had rented North Face and Obermeyer brands which would have been a lot more expensive if we had purchased these for a 3 day trip considering we don't reside in an area that gets too cold.
