My family of 10 (including 3 kids/babies) came here on a holiday weekend. We showed up around 10:30am and easily found parking. The grounds are beautiful (we saw a wedding being set up) and we were able to snap a few pictures before it was closed off for the wedding. We ate some snacks and enjoyed some wine in the shaded picnic table area which was great. It wasn't too hot and it allowed our toddler daughter to walk around without disrupting others. We tasted wine inside. We were quickly greeted and helped by Pam. She was absolutely great. She was very knowledgeable about the wines (educated us about the grapes, tasting notes, and award winning wines) and helped us decide which wines best suited our individual palates. She was very sweet and made us sure we had a wonderful time while still pouring for others (it was busy by the time we left!). We had a great time and look forward to coming back. Thank you, Pam for taking care of my large group!

This is a quaint little winery in Morgan Hill. To top it off the wine is easy drinking and tastes great. I ended up joining the wine club. What a great price for an every day wine that doesn't need to age. Will look forward to picking up my shipments and enjoying wine through the year!

Beautiful setup of the estate and the picnic area and they also have a nice lawn with flowers for weddings. Our waitress for pouring is friendly and even open a new bottle for us when we didn't taste the goodness of petite Syrah as she'd liked. Wine are ok, a few of them are not bad but in general they don't have much tannins. Rather fruity and ready to drink kind of wine. The pricing is interesting, if you buy 6 bottles it's 30% off, 12 bottles are 50% off and you can also go with 36. Wine tasting is $10, super reasonable these days. The vino de mocha is a nice dessert wine. We also like the Melbec and the Malvasia Bianca.

My sister had her wedding here and it was great. We also did the rehearsal here too. For the rehearsal we met in the tasting room then went to the wedding area. We bought a bottle of their Sauvignon Blanc. It was pretty decent on a hot day. Their wines were affordable. You can taste for $10 but then have to buy a bottle but that $10 is used for credit, so essentially if you pick a $10 wine you paying for a bottle with free tasting. Haha. As for the wedding, it was beautiful. The ceremony on the field. Then the reception in the back area. It had AC, so that was nice. I'm not gonna lie, their wines are not the best compared to the big players like Sonoma and Napa, but compared to Gilroy, it's fine. The staffs are also super nice! My sister enjoyed working with the owner and enjoyed her wedding here.

I got to visit Kirigin Cellars whenever I was still dating my last boyfriend as his family is member of this winery. It was for an event that they had which had pizza, ice cream w/ wine, and of course wine! Haha.. I enjoyed the pizza as I chose a slice of Indian pizza, and it was tasty! The ice cream was pretty yum as well. The wines that I tried were pretty good. I think I had a glass of pinot noir and a glass of a white one that was supposed to have notes of lychee. The grounds were pretty nice. I remembered I spent most of the time there chatting with his parents as he was always running around with his kiddo which is okay. But I could sense that the relationship was fading a bit. I think it was one of our last dates before our breakup. Oh wells..but I'm glad that I got to visit another winery.

Tasting menu - pick four and the Vino de Mocca (desert) is number 5.

I will say, I am usually a sweet wine person and we were told there were no sweet wines at this facility. Nonetheless, we did a wine flight just to try! The wines were very smooth, none were really my taste though. Again, preferring sweet wine this was a bit to adjust to. However, my family who got red wines and actually like red wines loved it! The star of the show for me was actually a peach cider they have! I usually don't like ciders either, but this one was so delicious and refreshing! I wish I had just got a couple of those. Overall, service and everything was great! The man was very knowledgeable and friendly. Noe was an exciting part of the experience. And the cider was so amazing! I would come here again on another Cali trip.

We had our choice of indoor and outdoor seating, and opted for the nice covered outdoor patio. They had a good amount of seating in each area, and had a lot of shade outside, which is absolutely necessary in Gilroy. The patio and grass area was very pretty, filled with lots of plants and even a sculpture. The property is also next to a plant nursery, so that added to the beauty even beyond their property line. We were helped by Melissa, and she was great! They had two tasting flights of 4 wines to choose from on our visit, one of which included a white and reds, while the other was all reds. They did also have some extra bottles open, so they were able to make an all white wine flight for one in our party. The pours were a good size, enough to really get a feel for the wine and share a taste with others. Two of us ended up taking home the same bottle of pinot noir.

I started my membership back, thought we'd utilize the wine tasting. First time back in over 6 months they did not bring us a menu, did not tell us what we were tasting and that was not a good feeling. On out third pour same day- fist day back we were accused of trying to get an extra pour Aaron asked what pour we were on, we didn't have a response because we didn't have the menu, we were accused of getting any extra pour? Not our responsibility to keep track, and if you did an extra pour what is the big deal? The comment made us feel uncomfortable, we stayed and purchased a bottle from their reserved red wine. This Saturday we went with another couple and my granddaughter. All was fine untill our third pour, we paid extra for the reserved tasting and it was a splash not a tasting pour. We discussed if we should say anything at all, and we decided to ask for a decent pour. My husband went in , talked to Aaron, he declined and dismissed us. Aaron said we had a decent pour, even though he was not around to see what was poured?? Typically a winery allows more than the 4 or 5 tasting, how else will you know if you like it enough to purchase a bottle. If a winery treats members that way it's time to end membership, and we did. Staff is like family at S V, we got the cold shoulder once my husband spoke with Aaron. We paid for our tasting, tipped our server. We will not revisit this establishment again. It was a nice place till it wasn't We have too many wineries nearby to allow staff to make you feel a certain way.

She also did not mix and mingle with us the while time we were there. The place sits on 5+ plus acres and has a large outdoor seating area. There is enough parking and the grounds are beautiful. The weather was perfect for wine tasting. We were there for about 45 mins and they offered 3 tastings for the wine trolley. The problem was that the pours were tiny! Generally, the servers come around with an additional complimentary tasting, especially when the group was sitting around for as long as we were there for but we had to flag someone down and ask for an additional taste! The Rose was good but they ran out and could not provide another taste but they poured us the white. The focus was on selling bottles. The prices also seem quite high as well. When…read moreyou think of wine, you often think of heading to Napa or Paso Robles, but you'll never think that deep in the hills of Gilroy (borderline Morgan Hill), there's this small and beautiful vineyard. I haven't been to Italy but having seen it in movies, this place sure gives you the feels of having traveled that far for a glass of wine. It's a small vineyard with such an intimate and relaxing setting. The owners, Drew and Tiffany, are friendly, chill, and easygoing. Even though we've met them for the first time through a mutual friend, my husband and I felt comfortable talking to them as if we've known them for some time. They're very personable and well versed with their wines, and I love the stories behind some of the names for their wines. You'll also be greeted by their sweet and gentle black lab, Bear, who walks around saying hi to the guests. My husband and I both did the Estate Reds tasting as we love reds, especially Cabernets. I'm not a wine connoisseur at all, but I do like to enjoy a glass of wine here and there. The reds were delish, though I enjoyed The House (light) and Vino Nona (deep and bold) best. However, given another couple of years, I think Vino Nona would have an exceptional taste. And oh, you must try the Frozé (Frozen Rosé) or that I hope you get the chance as I heard they do run out of it fast. Such a yummy adult icee that is so refreshing with a good taste of the Rosé wine. I have 2 young boys, so I always love places that are kid and family friendly! This place is big enough for the boys to run and explore with areas for pictures and games. There's also a cute swing for anyone needing that nice picture to post. And one more thing, the portable bathroom is amazing! I'm never a fan of portable bathrooms, but this one is not a bit scary at all. It kinda reminds me of the bathroom on the airplanes but much nicer. Great escape for a few hours to enjoy with your significant other and/or with friends. Definitely nice place for small events. P.s. There is also a menu for light snacks, which I forgot to take a picture of.
