Visited Miramar Vineyards without a reservation on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. It was early afternoon and the place was poppin! They had a few large groups taking up most of the tables, but still had a few scattered around that were available. Due to the wind there were no umbrellas up but they still had a nice shade cover that got most of the tables. The outdoor tasting area was large and all the tables were on the cement/tiles. I could see this place getting pretty toasty on a hot day so I was thankful for the wind. They had a beautiful bocce ball court that was covered in foliage, I found this to be the prettiest part of the winery. They also had a corn hole set on the grass. This particular day they were offering tastings, wine by the bottle or glass, and even sangria. Being the wine lover I am, of course I opted for the tasting. We ordered at the bar and then had our tastings brought out in mini carafes to our table. We were provided a menu with the notes to follow along as we tasted. Most of the wines we tasted that day were the 2013-14 vintages. Though I didn't love any of the wines, as they were a little older than I tend to drink, my friend who I was with enjoyed a few of them and ended up taking a bottle home. Though I probably wouldn't come back because the wine wasn't my style, the service was really great it seems like a great spot for big groups!

My husband knew the owner from working with him in the past and told me that we should stop by on our way home and do some wine tasting so I said sounds good. The staff here and the owner are fantastic! Very attentive and friendly. They have plenty of seating and it's just a lovely spot. All the wine we tried was really good. My favorite was the Rose. The next day I ended up going back with a group of girls and we all really enjoyed ourselves. This is a must stop if you are in the area. Highly recommend!

I came here on a double date with my parents and boyfriend to celebrate Mother's Day. My mom had been here before and raved about it so I was excited to visit! We had a Groupon for 4 which included tasting for four plus a glass of wine for each of us (good deal!). We arrived right when they opened so we were able to find parking pretty easily but by the time we left around 230, parking was packed and people were parking on the road. Because we also arrived pretty early, we were able to easily find a table to sit at. The winery is beautiful. There is a huge patio with tables (and umbrellas for shade), a huge canopy for more shade, a place to play bocce ball and cornhole, and music in the background. We tried 5 wines on the tasting menu plus a bonus pour of their red blend. I was very happy with the amount of wine they gave us to taste as well as the quality and taste of it all. Miramar has this really cool thing where instead of standing the whole time at the counter or somewhere like most places to taste, they have a cart that is pushed around to each table or group with all the wine on the tasting menu, so you don't have to stand up or anything! I thought this was a fantastic idea because I have brought my grandma wine tasting before and she can't stand for long periods and this concept makes it a lot easier to enjoy food (you can bring outside food!). The lady who was pushing the cart (I can't remember her name. Karyn?) was really sweet and friendly and even took pictures for my family. At the counter, I met Debbie who helped my mom sign up for her first wine membership! I also got to meet Ed, the owner. I absolutely love this place and can't wait to come back many more times!

Enjoyed this vineyard a lot! The staff was very friendly, the patio is spacious with plenty of seating, they have bocci ball and a grassy area for picnics, the wines were great, and they have a wine cart! The wine cart was my favorite part (besides the fantastic pinots!); the girl was super friendly and goes table-to-table refilling glasses based on little place cards you receive signifying where you are on the tasting journey, such an awesome idea, you don't even have to leave your seat to get a refill! They are kid friendly (much appreciated considering other vineyards like Sycamore are not) and you can reserve a table/tables for parties. The wine club is reasonable with some pretty fantastic perks - today's perk was barrel tastings and additional pours from Left Bend. Love this winery!

Super friendly staff but not the best wine in the area! The price is pretty good and it has an amazing outdoor area

Terrace at Miramar. Just getting started on my tasting schedule. The Staff here are Top Notch!

What a beautiful Facility! And the Staff were incredibly friendly as well as professional with their wine presentation. There was plenty of room to stretch out especially if you had a large group. Lots of tables chairs and area to relax with some wine or other beverage offered. Also, plenty of protection from the sun with "sunbrellas" and overhead covering. It was a perfect "terrace like" setting overlooking a valley while enjoying a game of Bocci Ball. I recommend to bring your choice of cheese, crackers/bread, meats or other snack items and stay awhile to enjoy the wine selection. The "Cab" was bold but not overstated while the Zin and Syrah were soft yet delicious. I look forward to our next visit! Thank you Miramar Vineyards for such a wonderful experience!

The grounds are wonderful, and the wines are red and great. Large outdoor area to sit, and a bocce ball lawn.

We found this vineyard on Groupon. We had a great experience!!! Very friendly atmosphere, great views and not bad wine!!! Owner himself was pouring wine and he was very pleasant and friendly. We had relaxing afternoon and enjoyed every minute of it!! You can bring your own food and have a nice brunch or lunch with the love ones!

This past Sunday I visited Miramar winery to not only celebrate my birthday but to ask my family and close friends to be my bridesmaids. The owner and his staff were all so helpful, they were kind enough to help me set up my picnic. I was so grateful that they allowed me to do the beautiful set I had in mind. The winery has such a beautiful view with an incredible atmosphere and the most delicious wine. The Sangria was one of my favorites, not to strong at all. I can't wait to return. Thank you to all the wonderful staff.

$10 tastings, nice place to sit and sip a glass of wine if you're in the area. Wines average but affordably priced.

Great wines; something for everyone's taste. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and pleasant. The grounds are comfortable and perfect for everyone, including families. Bring a snack and enjoy the wine and beautiful scenery.

Great experience! The view was nice. They had several outdoor tables with umbrellas which was perfect for having a picnic at. We bought bottles of Cabernet and Zinfandel and both were excellent. The staff was incredible. Overall amazing experience and we will come here again!

I've gone in person to the San Martin location and spoke to two different people on two different occasions who told me the price should be $100 and that Theresa could fix it. I left my name and number, and no call from Theresa both times. Called the Hollister location today to resolve this issue. The person who picked up told me that they sent two notice emails out and that it probably went to my spam. I have never gotten a DeRose email in spam because it's been marked as "important" ever since I signed up for the membership. It turns out that I got one email about a sparkling wine event. At the bottom of that email is a short notice on membership price increases. There should be a separate email with the proper subject line and a dedicated message on the membership price increases. I'm not scrutinizing every event email for a potential price increase. I cancelled my membership. Not very happy and will not be supporting this business again in the future.

Upon entering the tasting room there was no acknowledgement of our presence which felt very awkward (esp with only a few other patrons tasting) and available wine pourers. The staff were not smiling and were very short with us when we said we were there to taste. It definitely put a damper on the start of our day... We wondered if it had something to do with them merging or becoming Cor de Valle winery. It seemed confusing to us whether we were drinking wine from one or the other. Once we got past the odd lack of welcome and went to tables outside though, we had a wonderful time. Such a beautiful upper and lower courtyard surrounded by vineyards; it almost feels like you have been transported to somewhere in Europe. The wines were delicious. I loved the 22 Pirates Blend and the Viogner most.
