Visited Miramar for the first time today, January 12, 2025. There were 7 of us and we all had a spectacular afternoon! Very friendly and welcoming staff. Nice layout. The products that we purchased were fantastic and reasonable priced. The music loop that was played was right in my rage of 70-80's Rock mixed with Earth Wind and Fire played at a level that's not blaring loud. Hey! We enjoy coming to this winery from time to time. We've been here @ least a handful of times. It has wonderful views and has nice outdoor seating. So, it is perfect for a nice sunny day. In terms of drinks, we usually order the sangria to share as @ least one of the options. Then we usually play some bocce ball as well. It is actually perfect for a double date and have a game of 2v2. If that doesn't float your boat, there's also a spot to play bean bag toss as well. You'll need to ask the staff for all the playing equipment though. But don't worry there isn't any additional charge. :) I definitely recommend this winery if you happen to be close-by. Or if you just want a change of scenery. Or maybe you like friendly competition to pave the road to become a bocce world champ. Or you might just be tired of your daily pickleballing. Visited Miramar Vineyards without a reservation on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. It was early afternoon and the place was poppin! They had a few large groups taking up most of the tables, but still had a few scattered around that were available. Due to the wind there were no umbrellas up but they still had a nice shade cover that got most of the tables. The outdoor tasting area was large and all the tables were on the cement/tiles. I could see this place getting pretty toasty on a hot day so I was thankful for the wind. They had a beautiful bocce ball court that was covered in foliage, I found this to be the prettiest part of the winery. They also had a corn hole set on the grass. This particular day they were offering tastings, wine by the bottle or glass, and even sangria. Being the wine lover I am, of course I opted for the tasting. We ordered at the bar and then had our tastings brought out in mini carafes to our table. We were provided a menu with the notes to follow along as we tasted. Most of the wines we tasted that day were the 2013-14 vintages. Though I didn't love any of the wines, as they were a little older than I tend to drink, my friend who I was with enjoyed a few of them and ended up taking a bottle home. My husband knew the owner from working with him in the past and told me that we should stop by on our way home and do some wine tasting so I said sounds good. The staff here and the owner are fantastic! Very attentive and friendly. They have plenty of seating and it's just a lovely spot. All the wine we tried was really good. My favorite was the Rose. The next day I ended up going back with a group of girls and we all really enjoyed ourselves. This is a must stop if you are in the area. Highly recommend! read more

I came here on a double date with my parents and boyfriend to celebrate Mother's Day. My mom had been here before and raved about it so I was excited to visit! We had a Groupon for 4 which included tasting for four plus a glass of wine for each of us (good deal!). We arrived right when they opened so we were able to find parking pretty easily but by the time we left around 230, parking was packed and people were parking on the road. Because we also arrived pretty early, we were able to easily find a table to sit at. The winery is beautiful. There is a huge patio with tables (and umbrellas for shade), a huge canopy for more shade, a place to play bocce ball and cornhole, and music in the background. We tried 5 wines on the tasting menu plus a bonus pour of their red blend. I was very happy with the amount of wine they gave us to taste as well as the quality and taste of it all. Miramar has this really cool thing where instead of standing the whole time at the counter or somewhere like most places to taste, they have a cart that is pushed around to each table or group with all the wine on the tasting menu, so you don't have to stand up or anything! I thought this was a fantastic idea because I have brought my grandma wine tasting before and she can't stand for long periods and this concept makes it a lot easier to enjoy food (you can bring outside food!). The lady who was pushing the cart (I can't remember her name. Karyn?) was really sweet and friendly and even took pictures for my family. At the counter, I met Debbie who helped my mom sign up for her first wine membership! I also got to meet Ed, the owner. I absolutely love this place and can't wait to come back many more times! read more

Enjoyed this vineyard a lot! The staff was very friendly, the patio is spacious with plenty of seating, they have bocci ball and a grassy area for picnics, the wines were great, and they have a wine cart! The wine cart was my favorite part (besides the fantastic pinots!); the girl was super friendly and goes table-to-table refilling glasses based on little place cards you receive signifying where you are on the tasting journey, such an awesome idea, you don't even have to leave your seat to get a refill! They are kid friendly (much appreciated considering other vineyards like Sycamore are not) and you can reserve a table/tables for parties. The wine club is reasonable with some pretty fantastic perks - today's perk was barrel tastings and additional pours from Left Bend. Love this winery! read more

Great family friendly winery! It's small but a great place spend the afternoon with family and friends. The wine is good and they have a decent selection of the usual reds and whites,l and also some interesting sparkling wines and sangria. There are lots of outdoor tables and you can bring your own food. There is a bocce court which is usually open. They also have live music every now and then which adds a nice element to the experience. The staff is very friendly and will make an effort to make sure you have an enjoyable experience. What a beautiful Facility! And the Staff were incredibly friendly as well as professional with their wine presentation. There was plenty of room to stretch out especially if you had a large group. Lots of tables chairs and area to relax with some wine or other beverage offered. Also, plenty of protection from the sun with "sunbrellas" and overhead covering. It was a perfect "terrace like" setting overlooking a valley while enjoying a game of Bocci Ball. I recommend to bring your choice of cheese, crackers/bread, meats or other snack items and stay awhile to enjoy the wine selection. We were members here. The wine is ok, but not as good as places like Martin Ranch. I had booked a birthday party for my wife here and sent them final numbers 3 days before. They called me back to cancel because there were too many kids going to be there. When I booked, I told them there would be kids and they didn't give a maximum number allowed. Their decision to cancel was made by the owner, Ed. Thankfully, one of our favorite wineries saved the day and we held the party there instead. We won't be going back to Miramar. read more

One of the most friendliest vineyards to visit. Staff and owner greet guests with a smile and makes it a point to spend some time getting to know their guests. My first time tasting Miramar wines was during the 2015 Fall Passport weekend at the Morgan Hill community center. Found their vineyards while taking a drive through the back roads of south county and immediately stopped to take a look. We found a shady court yard with lots of seating, a bocci ball court, view the wine barrels at the tasting area and a huge deck ready for some fun dancing. The views of the vineyard to the west makes for a beautiful sunset setting. This is a new winery and we can't wait to see what Miramar grows into...that's why we became members! Oh and my favorite summer time choice was the rosé. read more

Came with friends to wine taste on a Sunday afternoon in June 2018 I was looking for a deal on Groupon and that;s how I found this place. For $35, we tasted 6 wines plus enjoyed a full glass of wine of our choosing. Parking was fine but it could be as issue if it was more crowded. Location is excellent. 5 minutes off Highway 101 on the north end of San Martin and easy to find. Very impressed with the quality of wine we were served. The servers come to your table to pour you wine. That was a first !We all decided to join the wine club right then and there. Low requirements; buy 2 bottles when you join and two more in December for the Silver Membership. As members we now get 20% off retail. Now I can come and taste for free and bring 2 guest who can also taste for free. The setting here is really gorgeous. We enjoyed talking with the owner Ed Castro who we learned has spent the past 20 years improving this winery. Excellent first experience and we look forward to future visits. read more

Hit a road closure detour today going through Gilroy so we decided to go a couple extra miles and visit Miramar Vineyards for the first time. Beautiful venue. Very friendly staff who took very good care of us. And most importantly the wine was tremendous! I favored the 2013 Estate Syrah and my wife enjoyed the Cab.
