One of my favorite Jamaican places in Maryland. It's found on the back side of the PG mall. Small restaurant but definitely big in taste!!!! Their patties are delicious, you can never go wrong. During regular business (not covid time) they have lunch specials. It's like $8-$10 for a whole bunch of food. Their regular menu prices aren't bad either jerk chicken is about $11-12 depending on if you get white or dark meat. All their entrees come with rice and pea, cabbage and plantains. I ordered a small jerk chicken and a large curry chicken. They have three sizes small, large, and x large. Their jerk chicken is very tasty and has tons of flavor. You have to e option of having the jerk sauce on the side or on the chicken. I always get it on the side because I like to dip my chicken and I like it on the rice. Their rice and peas alone have lots of flavor and can be eaten on its own. The curry chicken can use a little more spice. But overall was delicious as well. I will continue to go to this place no matter the distance.

Curry chicken. It wasn't so good. Mac and cheese and cabbage was.

Good service, decent food. Love the jerk chicken and Mac and cheese. I will be back. Get the jerk wings too with the sauce.

For dinner I had an oxtail platter to go. It's sides are cabbage, plantains, rice & peas. This Caribbean combo was so delicious! I recommend trying this place when in the area. The wait time from order to out the door service is 5-15mins for two platters, not bad.

This is my second time here and got the jerk chicken (5/5) small portion and the lady at the counter gave extra jerk sauce on top. The flavor was good and the chicken was very tender. The jerk seasons has some spice and sweetness to it.

Ughhhhhhh $19 no refund Why get another menu if this wasn't good . Maybe hen I coulda came back another day but I won't be back , Smfh

I don't know what happened to my food but I'm pisseD $19 with soda It doesn't taste like curry : it's just yellow I guess no nothing ,the chicken isn't really coming off to much gotta shake it not tryin use my fingers, I do doordash and eat my car I'm ready to throw this shyt on the floor Even the rice is ughh I been coming here for 25 years maybe 30 idk but this isn't cooool I can't get my $15 baCk,! Visited on a Saturday at about 1pm, the line was super long. I ordered the brown stew chicken & jerk wings. Love the jerk wings. This was my first time getting their brown stew chicken, I enjoyed it. Definitely recommend.

I would say definitely 3.5 stars. Kingston Arbor is tasty, and I'd go back if in the area, but I'm not necessarily craving it. The staff is super friendly. Only two tables, so plan for take-out (though I ate in because no one was in the place). My curry chicken was tender and flavorful, but the rice and peas and vegetables were just OK. Plantains were good, and I really liked the beef patty (it's one of the better ones). Jerk chicken is on my to-try list upon returning, as is their coco bread.

It was my first time there & I had a good experience. They have good portions & the food is pretty good. The young lady taking orders was friendly & patient and showed me all of my food before bagging them so I could double check. This place is close by, so I will def visit again~

Located in the back on PG mall , some of the best Jamaican food in the area. I ordered the king fish , and it came with cabbage and plantains. The fish was thick and meaty full of flavor , the plantains were amazing. The price was 17 dollars other items range between $8-$12 but it's most definitely worth it . They do have a few tables available for seating , but it mostly take out. If you are in the area and craving a little Jamaican flavor , this is your spot.

And to say it was underwhelming would be an understatement. I mean this experience might have been worse than the season finale of game of thrones. My wife ordered the oxtails and green jollof rice. First off, the rice tasted like wet grass. The oxtail was a sad excuse for oxtail. For context my wife is Caribbean so I've had my share of delicious oxtail, their oxtail tasted like they simply didn't even try. Now let's get to my food. I ordered the simplest thing on the menu the Steak and Frites. I'll give it to them the frites were pretty decent, but that's where my compliments end. I ordered my steak medium like a decent human being. The first steak came out and tasted like what I imagine an old used tire taste like, it was well done by the way. The next steak that came out 20 minutes later although closer to medium was surprisingly worse. It's was extremely rubbery with zero flavor. All together I would not recommend. The fact they sell this sad excuse for food is baffling. Sincerely, A concerned customer

Since then, this place was renovated and it's nicely decorated in every section and the bathrooms are clean. They've added an ice cream section with lots to choose from. The group I went with this time was from my church and everyone loved what they ordered. The owner of the restaurant stopped by our table and introduced himself. He was very friendly and so was the waitress and the host. I ordered a Ruben, and Moroccan lamb sliders to go. Both were delicious! Then we went to the ice cream shop, quite a treat. The following day I went back with my grandson and had more time to browse around. I ordered the beet salad with goat cheese and my grandson had the confit duck leg with lentils, carrots with citrus demi glaze. We both really enjoyed our dinner. The shop had some very unique items and some hilarious objects. There's even a section where they sell wine and beer. This is definitely an unusual and fun place to visit. I highly recommend.

After eating, we went downstairs for some ice cream and I got the super chonk flavor (malted vanilla ice cream, fudge, peanut butter, brownie pieces). We had the Chicken Ceasar salad (8/10) and Braised Short ribs (8/10). The salad was a standard salad and the short ribs were tender. I enjoyed the short ribs with the mashed potatoes and substituted the brussel sprouts with broccoli. I think the broccoli could've been seasoned to improve. I've been to other locations, so I decided to try this one as I've never been to this location before. Food- 3 Drink-4 Waitress-2 Ambience-5 Overall -3 Let's start with the food. At first I was disappointed when I saw they took off my favorite appetizer, so I ordered the Cripsy Calamari Appetizer instead. So as I am waiting my waitress had stopped by twice to ask me if I was ready to put in my entree and every-time I had to tell her no as I haven't even gotten my appetizer yet. This rubbed me the wrong, I felt like I was being rushed and that didn't make sense as this was on a Thursday at 1 pm and the restaurant was practically empty. Now the patio seating was lovely and I truly enjoyed basking in the sun while sipping on my Sauvignon Blanc, I have so many memories from DTS and it was nice to be in the area again. Anyways my Appetizer came and it was sooo good. I loved the fried jalapeños in the mix it really gave a nice kick to my Calamari. I decided to order the Shrimp Tempura Roll which is a new addition to the menu but whew this is where it went left. It was NOT good, drenched in sauce and fish eggs ... and the presentation of the roll looked sloppy and rushed especially considering one roll didn't even have Shrimp in it. There was barely any cucumber inside ... on top of all that they still gave me side dippings too... I ate 1 roll and it was nasty and too much. When I told my waitress I didn't like it and explained why she just said ok and walked away. It was very clear to me she did not care and so it's very clear to me that I won't be going there ever again.
