One of my favorite Jamaican places in Maryland. It's found on the back side of the PG mall. Small restaurant but definitely big in taste!!!! Their patties are delicious, you can never go wrong. During regular business (not covid time) they have lunch specials. It's like $8-$10 for a whole bunch of food. Their regular menu prices aren't bad either jerk chicken is about $11-12 depending on if you get white or dark meat. All their entrees come with rice and pea, cabbage and plantains. I ordered a small jerk chicken and a large curry chicken. They have three sizes small, large, and x large. Their jerk chicken is very tasty and has tons of flavor. You have to e option of having the jerk sauce on the side or on the chicken. I always get it on the side because I like to dip my chicken and I like it on the rice. Their rice and peas alone have lots of flavor and can be eaten on its own. The curry chicken can use a little more spice. But overall was delicious as well. I will continue to go to this place no matter the distance.

Curry chicken. It wasn't so good. Mac and cheese and cabbage was.

Good service, decent food. Love the jerk chicken and Mac and cheese. I will be back. Get the jerk wings too with the sauce.

For dinner I had an oxtail platter to go. It's sides are cabbage, plantains, rice & peas. This Caribbean combo was so delicious! I recommend trying this place when in the area. The wait time from order to out the door service is 5-15mins for two platters, not bad.

This is my second time here and got the jerk chicken (5/5) small portion and the lady at the counter gave extra jerk sauce on top. The flavor was good and the chicken was very tender. The jerk seasons has some spice and sweetness to it.

Located in the back on PG mall , some of the best Jamaican food in the area. I ordered the king fish , and it came with cabbage and plantains. The fish was thick and meaty full of flavor , the plantains were amazing. The price was 17 dollars other items range between $8-$12 but it's most definitely worth it . They do have a few tables available for seating , but it mostly take out. If you are in the area and craving a little Jamaican flavor , this is your spot.

Ughhhhhhh $19 no refund Why get another menu if this wasn't good . Maybe hen I coulda came back another day but I won't be back , Smfh

Visited on a Saturday at about 1pm, the line was super long. I ordered the brown stew chicken & jerk wings. Love the jerk wings. This was my first time getting their brown stew chicken, I enjoyed it. Definitely recommend.

And to say it was underwhelming would be an understatement. I mean this experience might have been worse than the season finale of game of thrones. My wife ordered the oxtails and green jollof rice. First off, the rice tasted like wet grass. The oxtail was a sad excuse for oxtail. For context my wife is Caribbean so I've had my share of delicious oxtail, their oxtail tasted like they simply didn't even try. Now let's get to my food. I ordered the simplest thing on the menu the Steak and Frites. I'll give it to them the frites were pretty decent, but that's where my compliments end. I ordered my steak medium like a decent human being. The first steak came out and tasted like what I imagine an old used tire taste like, it was well done by the way. The next steak that came out 20 minutes later although closer to medium was surprisingly worse. It's was extremely rubbery with zero flavor. All together I would not recommend. The fact they sell this sad excuse for food is baffling. Sincerely, A concerned customer

The burger was cooked well, the toppings were fresh, and the bun was soft. The fries were hot and crispy, which was a plus. Unfortunately, the burger itself was pretty average and lacked the bold flavor I was expecting, especially for the price. The cheese wasn't fully melted, and overall it just didn't stand out. The portion size was good, but I left feeling like it wasn't worth nearly $20 for a basic burger and fries. They don't have typical bacon or sausage because "the owners don't eat pork" which really sounds like something more appropriate for their house, and not their restaurant business on Rhode island ave. The "chicken sausage" was a shriveled up piece of chicken paste that they cooked in the microwave. I ordered scrambled eggs, and when they came out, they had that crust that scrambled eggs get when they sit out after being cooked. The grits were lumpy and outside of the cheese sauce they put on the top - had no flavor. The French toast tasted like milk eggs and burnt grill. And the pancakes, were very obviously pre made and microwaved. Additionally - the meal I ordered is listed to come with a bread, eggs, a side and a meat. I asked for bacon, and was told the owners don't eat pork. I asked for the chicken sausage.. 5 minutes later the server asked me if I wanted the sausage spicy or not. Then when she brought the bill, there was a $4 up charge for spicy sausage that she neither told me, nor was it on the menu. And to make matters worse - the sausages were not spicy and were actually just flat out nasty. This is a SAD excuse for a restaurant. I'm sad that I spent calories walking there and dollars eating there.

I started slow with just their grilled oysters. They were drowning in garlic and butter, so it was hard not to like. The Brussel cesar was also a solid shareable.
