If you don't know what SOS stands for, look it up... it's a great breakfast item. The SOS is not the same as the biscuits and sausage gravy because that is sausage gravy, the SOS has chipped beef in gravy and usually will come on toast, but I prefer it with the biscuits. I asked for my eggs over easy and they were just right. The side of grits comes in a small bowl which is a good portion for one person and the pancakes were humongous - a very good size for two pancakes and golden brown... I ended up sharing with my wife. We were very happy with the service that they gave us and one of the managers came around to see if everything was good or if we needed anything and we really appreciated that. This is a very down to earth place where it feels like home. It's a great place to bring the family, and we did see a lot of people with their kids, but, we also saw couples like myself and my wife sharing some good coffee or sweet tea and loving life. New no outside beverage policy. They don't offer lattes and we were all ordering breakfast, not just sitting around drinking coffee from home. Was told they make most of their money off coffee? Isn't it like $3 with refills? Not like I bought my own eggs. Cool. Left and went to waffle house. Prob wont be back. So, they lost $30-$40 in sales because of a $3 coffee? Sound business decision.
