I have visited the Bushnell location and figured I'd give this location a try since we were nearby. We ordered three hot dogs--one with chili sauce and onions, one with sauerkraut, and one with coleslaw. The buns were wonderfully steamed, which really helped bring everything together. The chili sauce was okay, the sauerkraut was good, but the real winner was the coleslaw. It tasted fresh, and I could've easily eaten a whole side of it. The hot dogs themselves seemed to be Nathan's and were pretty average in taste. A couple of things could've been better. There's an upcharge for an all-beef hot dog and for paying with a credit card. Also, the Mens room was filthy. Overall: not bad, but not great. Its easy to put up a "Coney Island" sign, but harder to live up to. read more

Obviously, there's an old gas station so when you walk in, it's a little bit hot, but I will tell you that the hots are great. They have all beef hotdog as well as beef pork mix. The fries are small. Think a McDonald's size small portion. I didn't try anything crazy. I just had a regular hotdog with spicy muffin and sauerkraut and it was absolutely fantastic and hit the spot if you crave those kind of things they were plenty of people coming in and out so it seems like a joint that a lot of people like they do have specials like fish fries on Fridays and I will definitely come back anytime. Dropped by with our kids, food was great, we had a chili dog, a Chicago dog, a corn dog, a burger and the honey teriyaki boneless wings. Fries as well. Fries were standard cut fries but still pretty crispy. Highly recommend the Chicago dog and the corn dog, we picked the foot-long versions, they have smaller as well. It happened to be an event night. Right now on the first Thursday of the month they host a car show. It was a treat for my boys to check out the cars! I'm giving 5 stars, it's not gourmet food but it's exactly what it's supposed to be and it's delicious. Highly reccomend for a causal night out. Kids fit right in. read more

Was visiting the hospital near by and saw this and caught my eye. Located in what looks like was an old gas station. They offer a drive thru and a sit down area. I used the sit down area inside and there is a ton of racing and car themed decoration which was nice to look at. The employees were super nice, prices were cheap for what you get and the place seemed really clean only thing I disliked was the floors felt a bit slippery. The restaurant caters to hotdogs and fried food. I had the Chicago dog and the chili and onion and it was amazing and soo good, if I had time I would have had three. I paid 10bucks for two dogs and a drink to include tip. I would strongly suggest you visit, it seemed a bit busy but they served me in less than 5 mins. read more

From the outside it looks like a repurposed gas station. Inside is cute. Order at the counter and they call your name when it's ready. Prices are very reasonable and the food was great. I had the Friday night 6-piece shrimp meal The coleslaw and fries were delicious and the shrimp was good too. Tartar sauce was more like a seasoned mayo. Pepsi products. I am from Chicagoland and was craving a Chicago hot dog. Drove past the Eustis location and decided to stop on my way back, since I'd always wanted to check it out. Drove thru, ordered from Mekayla(?spelling) who offered me a long or short. I chose the short, because what if it's disappointing? She was very pleasant and helpful. At the window, I let her know this was a test, from a true Chicagoan. She made sure I received a menu to take home, since it was my first time, and told me to let them know how it goes. 100% satisfied!!! They got it right, down to the bright green relish, poppy seeds, and all beef dog. My only regret....I should have gotten the long! No, better yet, I should've gotten 2!!! Next time I'll know better, and there WILL be a next time!!! Thank you!!!!! My new go to for Chicago dogs. read more

Located in a converted gas station. Set back from the road so you might miss it. The signage out front isn't much. Just a banner that says hot dogs. The however when you go in you will find a very large menu of all kinds of hot dogs from different regions. I have had several and they are all authentic ie the Chicago dog. They use the right peppers and bright green relish. They offer several sizes. Jumbo or regular dogs and for 50 cents additional you can get a Hebrew National. People behind the counter are friendly and helpful. If you want a hot dog this is your place. They also have burgers but I haven't tried them yet .... Dogs are too good. read more
