I hesitate to write this review because as others have stated, the Kings Table is sort of a hidden gem in the Beavercreek area. If you're looking for a nice sit down place, this isn't quite that type of place but it's also not a dive by any stretch of the imagination, it's sort of in between and that's a good thing! There aren't any booths here, lots of high top tables, a very large bar, banquet style faux wood tables abound in one section of the place. On one large wall they have a bunch of cork dart boards and a few of the electronic kind, and a bunch of pool tables, heck they even have a ski ball game! Are you looking for a great selection of good beer on draft? This is your place! Seriously, I think they have THE best select of draft beer in Dayton, something like 60 odd taps, better than any other place in town that I can think of. There are microbreweries popping up all over Dayton and some of them have great beer but you can come here and get Dayton Beer Company, Warped Wing, Yellow Springs, and other local brews AND a great selection of really good food! The food here is really solid bar food, they have a pretty decent menu and always have cool specials like $1 grilled cheese (you pick the cheese) and $1 tomato soup. They have awesome burgers, tater tots done just right, and a slew of other options for just about anyone. When you go in, order everything at the bar. They'll bring it to your table but you place your food and drink orders with the bartenders. Went here with some coworkers for some drinks after work a little while back. Went for the drinks, left with the stomach flu. I had one hard cider, then decided I should eat too. Ordered a gyro, tasted fine, but it was around 10pm that I tossed everything. I know what you're thinking, maybe it was the alcohol. No, trust me when I say this was the food. Yacked so hard I lost my voice. Anyways... This is truly a run down dive bar. Their bartender was rude, and their staffing is a little lacking sadly. Unless you find yourself at the Greene for any reason other than booze, don't bother hitting up the overpriced bars it has to offer. Go to King's Table for its reasonably priced drinks and very friendly staff. I remember hanging out here in high school to play billiards with my friends. I also remember getting kicked out at 10 PM because we were underage. When I finally hit 21 years of age, I was excited to be able to enjoy the best part of King's Table... booze. Sure, at the time I didn't know any better and all I wanted was the burning taste of alcohol. But a few years later, I've developed a taste for beer, and King's has a very respectable selection of beers. It might look like a dive from the outside, but is certainly the best bar Beavercreek has to offer. It's exactly what I want in a bar: The staff has always been very friendly and knowledgeable, so don't be afraid to ask for a beer recommendation. King's always has a wide range of beer and rotates a good selection of drafts. There's frequent specials and discounts, which is a good reason to be a regular. Try going on Mondays for $2 beers. There are plenty of comfortable places to sit, ranging from high top tables to leather sofas. There's darts, televisions, pool tables, a jukebox, and even ski ball to keep you and your drunken friends entertained. The type of people here is often mixed and usually not too rowdy, but they know how to have fun. I like King's because it doesn't try to be anything more than what it is... a bar. If you're looking for a dance club or an upscale joint, I lied... go back to the Greene. I'd love to see live music here, but I'm told that will not happen, for fear of the type of people that will bring in. The jukebox doesn't offer much, but at least you don't have to scream to hear your friends. This place is perfect for those chill nights you just want to kick back and enjoy a few (or more) brews. Finally, make sure to end your night with a basket of amazing tots. King's Table has pretty good bar food and will surely satisfy your late night beer munchies. read more

I was recently out in Ohio on business and stopped by Kings Table on recommendation from a friend. After checking out the website, I couldn't believe the tap list, but there it was. Great selection of beer on 40 taps, with prices very reasonable. Had the mushroom swiss burger and it was very solid. Tots and local made hot sauces were a great touch. Hard to believe but this little dive bar has one of the best beer selections I've come across while travelling. Would return on my next trip through. read more

Huge--HUGE--beer list and great brews on tap. Food is good-- not 4 star dining, but throw back to tater tots and comfort food! I'm a big fan of their old school games: skee ball and Ms. Pac-Man are my faves. Bunch of pool tables for billiards folks and dartboards too. Music is cash-paid modern juke box. I came here for the lunchtime USA World Cup game and it was a pretty good venue for the game. There are a lot of TVs everywhere so it wasn't a problem to find a spot to watch even though the place was packed. The beer selection is huge (I'll guess around 50 taps) and that is awesome. They have lots of local beers, imported beers, and probably your standard American macros although I didn't look for those. I wanted to try a local beer but I'm not from the Dayton area so I asked the bartender and he recommended a few. I went with the Warped Wing Saison which was tasty and a good choice. They serve food but you have to order at the bar and then they will bring it to your table once it's ready. Since it was lunchtime they had a special going for $1 brats and $1 tots. I went with one brat and one order of tots. The brat came out with nothing on it, just a plain brat on a bun, with a pile of tater tots next to it on a styrofoam plate. There was mustard and ketchup on the table. I can't really say anything great about the food. It was nothing special but I also can't complain because it only cost $2. The total bill of of $9.50 for a good local beer and some food including tip is a great deal. Overall, I would say this place is okay. The location is in a strip mall and the inside of the place makes you feel like you are in a strip mall. The beer selection is awesome and is a reason to return if I'm looking for good beer in the area, but that's all that would draw me back. They did appear to have bar games like darts and pool tables and I even saw a skee ball machine. read more

Stopped in the other night for drinks and food with an out-of-town coworker. I knew he was a beer connoisseur so I figured I would show off this little place's incredible craft beer tap a collection. Needless to say, he was very impressed! We took advantage of the four flights for $6 deal. We also enjoyed shooting darts and playing pool. We also ordered several food items including mozzarella sticks, deep-fried macaroni bites, tater tots and a cheeseburger. We understood that it was typical barfood so we did not expect too much. Fortunately, the food was actually very delicious. Of course, it could've been all the beer we drank. The bar staff was very friendly and attentive. They were also very patient with my coworker who was getting a bit rowdy after several rounds of drinks. Will definitely have to go back another time with the wife, but will need a babysitter! And you cannot go wrong with a place that has Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale on tap! read more

Stopped in last evening mainly to watch the basketball game. Large beer selection which I liked. Had chicken nuggets and tots to eat. Nothing special. Nice crowd mostly 30ish which is fine but at 65 didn't feel out of place. Would recommend if looking to hang out play darts and drink beer. Life is beautiful !!! read more

A pleasant surprise in an out of the way strip mall. Seems like they've got about 50 or so beers on tap. Breweries represented from across the world. Reasonable prices for even the best beers. Daily specials for lunch, very reasonably priced. Fries and onion petals are both good options for sides. The chef salad was enormous! At this bar you can play darts, pool, or ski-ball. It's a great chill atmosphere. They have over 40 beers on tap and gazillions in bottle. The daily specials rocks and it's close to home. I like to order the daily specials. The staff is super knowledgable about the beers and won't steer you wrong. It's probably one of the best bars in the Dayton area. Kings is king! read more

This is "the place" in Dayton for beer, eats, and pool. Very unassuming from the exterior (easy to miss as it is in a poorly lit strip mall), but a real gem. They have great specials (buckets of 'tots' and various $1 bite specials on various nights) and an amazing selection of draft beers--about 55 at my last count. The bar tenders/staff are also pretty knowledgable regarding selections/advice for the beer. Crowd is friendly--lots of local regulars (generally a good sign) and the noise level it just right (that is, you can have a conversation at normal volumes but not feel like you are the only ones talking). Definitely worth a visit if you ever get to Dayton Ohio. Cheers! read more

Best bar in Dayton. Not even close. A HUGE selection of beers. Almost 300 different brews to try. Rotating tap so there is 6 different draft beers every week or so. Insane food. Burgers, tots (try the porn sauce), fries, and great soups. Specials every day. Grilled cheese and tomato soup for a buck each on Wed, Tuesday is dollar brauts. 2 dollar burgers on Thursdays. I have been a frequent visitor since they opened. Dean does a great job. Friendly to all. The bar staff have all become great friends. Jodi, Aaron, Kat, Sandy, Ben, Josh, Steve and all the rest will treat you like a king. Lots of pool tables, dart boards (soft and steel), golden tee, and even ski ball. Usually a great crowed. I am a beer snob. That being said King's Table is a rare place when it comes to rotating taps. They have mostly American craft brews on taps and a bottle selection that is shocking!! Yes they still have bud light and even natural light for those who need it. They run daily specials and the food is even amazing, it is all bar food but the dollar grilled cheese and tots will surprise you. Could work on the atmosphere but plenty of pool tables and darts to be played. They have sports on the TV's. I am hooked. read more

I'm not in Beavercreek all that often, but when I am, this is my hangout of choice. They have several pool tables but besides that, they have several dart boards, TVs, couches (yes - couches), golden tee machines, and last but certainly not least - they have a KILLER beer selection! I mean, maybe the best beer selection I've seen in Ohio! Very fun to go and try a few new beers out. On top of all that, the owner, Dean, is a great guy, so I always enjoy giving my business to good people. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area. read more

If you're a beer drinker, you've got to visit this "hole in the wall" bar! They have a very extensive beer selection - the beer menu is printed on a two side of paper!! They have local brewed, domestic, and import beer. You name it, chances are, they have it! The staffs are friendly. They are famous for their tots, you'll be SORRY if you don't order it. Hidden gem. LOVE this place for a nice cheap lunch. The $2 burgers are yummy! I've been here a couple of times and had typical bar food, but it's served hot and fresh. My favorite thing about this place is the 50+ beers that are on tap here. Amazing selection and you can get a "flight" of 4 beers and get a taste of several.
