DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE. I would give zero stars if I could. We bought a 2004 Acura TL for our son on January 6 for $5,000. Yesterday, January 16, the car revved up to 5000 RPM's, would not shift, and would not go over 35 mph. It also does not shift into reverse now. We've had this car 10 days. We have not even received the title in the mail yet even though they cashed the check more than a week ago (they said they would send us the title when the check cleared - it doesn't take 8 days for a piece of mail to travel within the same town). The car isn't even in our name yet and it's useless. We were also told upon purchase that the price included a 30 day warranty, however, nothing in our paperwork indicates the car has a warranty. I called and spoke to someone this morning and was told there was nothing they could do because their cars are sold as is. I was told "It doesn't matter if the car lasts 2 days, it was sold as is." I was also told that there's no way they told us there was a 30 day warranty when we purchased the car. They offered to look at the car, however, I would not trust that they would be honest with anything that was wrong or fix things correctly after this. This place will scam you out of your money and take zero responsibility for any issues you may have. For the sake of your wallet, look for a car somewhere else. read more

Brought my car in for an oil change...a short time later my car broke down on I-380. Found out from another mechanic that Kings Kars had not put the oil cap on correctly and I had oil all over my engine, which caused a belt to slip and overheat my car. He was able to get my car running again, after cleaning up a huge mess under the hood. Contacted King's Kars and they said they would call back but did not. A week later, my compressor died due to the damage done by the oil. Again, had another TRUSTED mechanic fix it. Went to King's Kars, thinking they would take some responsibility and they said they would not do anything about it. The damage, that I know of so far, is up to about $900 (which should've been used to pay for my upcoming wedding)...due to their mechanic not putting an oil cap back on during a $25 oil change. They took no responsibility. Now that's FANTASTIC customer service and a great way to run a business...wink, wink! As someone who commutes 80 miles per day, I'm praying that something else doesn't break due to their shoddy workmanship. If you decide to let them service your car, I would suggest driving directly to another mechanic after they're done to check their work :) read more

I bought a 97 Buick LeSabre for 2500 and the brake light came on after 20 minutes of driving it, so I pulled over to notice a puddle of break fluid coming out the driver side. This all happened on my way to work so I called them and was told by Leon's son Nick that they would take care of it. That night I wanted to see if there was anything else not right about the car, and to no surprise I found a huge hole in the passenger side wheel well that was covered up by carpet. When I told them about this they acted like they had no clue about it, so my response was"do you guys not look at the cars before you buy them" and they had no answer. So all in all I had to pay to repair break lines that where patched just to make the sale and a rusted out right fender well. I will never go to Kings Krap Kars again and I would recommend you stear clear as well. read more

Terrible cars and service. Their mechanic couldn't even fix a wiper blade. Sold me a lemon pile of junk that had check engines in less then 100 miles and cost me over 3000 in repairs before I traded it off. Go to Marion used car superstore up the road for reliable cars and good service. They also get bad reviews deleted off their other pages somehow because my other review disappeared along with several others on other pages. These guys are scam artists. read more

I bought a Chrysler LHS from them paid cash got all the so called promises, if anything goes wrong bring it back and we will help you lip service! Drove it less then 20 miles and it started to over heating. I pulled it over and shut it off and called them. I got the great service they bragged about.. You bought it AS IS HAVE IT TOWED TO US. ON my dime and they would look at it again on my dime. I figured I paid for what I bought JUNK!! in less of one month it spun the lower barring and now my $2200 car is now needing a new motor another $1000 .... Their low priced cars are not cheap they will cost you more in the long run. Save your money your time and headaches!! Go to a reputable car dealership someone that will stand behind their cars and not just push them. read more

Recently purchased a '96 Honda Civic. I was promptly greeted by Leon who was very polite and answered all my questions about the vehicle. The Honda I bought was being sold as is with some engine issues that Leon advised me of right away. The car was otherwise very clean and ran and looked great. There was no hiding anything, both Nick and Leon were friendly and great to work with. They were very honest about the car and what I was buying. After two months of dealing with dishonest people on Craigslist I've realized I should have just come here in the first place. These guys don't sell late model and low mileage. They sell cars for people that need a ride and dont want to break the bank. They've been in business for a long time and there's good reasons for that. I'm happy with my purchase and would be happy to do business with them again! read more

I bought a 1998 Volvo V70 XC AWD from Nick Koenighain at Kings Kars for $1800 cash, drove it for 1 full day and it started having issues. Took it to a Volvo dealership and they told me that the car had some serious issues and should not even be driven. The problems included the rear drive train being completely missing making the cars AWD not funtional, it was like that when it was purchased even though it was sold and listed as a AWD car. The engine mounts were also broken so the engine was sunken down and resting on the subframe. I had the dealership quote me $2700 in repairs just to get the thing back on the road, and that was without even fixing the AWD. I called Kings Kars back and had a conversation with Nick about how the car was not even sold to me in working condition and that I would like a refund. Nick then told me the car was sold as is and there wasnt much he could do besides buy the car back for $500. He also told me I was rude for assuming that he had knowledge of the condition of the car he sold me, but if your selling someone an AWD car you should probably know about the rear drive train being completely missing. I have tried calling them multiple times since to try and find some resolution but they wont even pick up the phone, these people sell awful cars to low income people and then wont even try to work with you to make it right. Awful experience all the way through if you are thinking of buying a car from them save yourself a headache and go elsewhere. read more
