They cannot fix it cause it's too cold so they told me to come back with a warm and they would make a note of it so it was still covered under warranty. MELISSA VONG basically said F U. If we can't fix it now you're gonna pay for it yourself even though it's not my fault because it's too cold and told me i'd have to buy the extended warranty. The service people even said that they don't think that's fair to me because I brought it in within the warranty period. If I ever treated my customers like that, I wouldn't have a business.

I had a very frustrating experience with McGrath Buick GMC Cadillac in Cedar Rapids, IA…read more I found a Nissan 350Z listed at their Cedar Rapids location and placed an online hold that was advertised as being good for 24 hours. I live about an hour and a half away, so I went to the McGrath dealership in Davenport instead. A salesman there told me he would handle everything and have the car brought down to Davenport for me. After that, I received a call from Russ Beltz at the Cedar Rapids location. I informed him that a Davenport salesman was already assisting me with the purchase. At this point, two salespeople and one manager were aware that I fully intended to buy this vehicle. I was told the car could be brought to Davenport the same day, which never happened. Later, I received a message from Russ Beltz stating that the vehicle had been sold -- despite knowing I was actively trying to purchase it and had been told it was being transferred for me. The lack of communication and follow-through was extremely disappointing, and it felt very unprofessional given the assurances I was given. Overall, this experience wasted my time and left me with no trust in their sales process. I would not recommend this dealership if you expect honesty, coordination between locations, or respect as a serious buyer.

On the website you can enter a price as an offer. I entered the price of $19,000. This was a little low but I was hoping we could negotiate. A coworker recommended this place to me. I visited the dealership and was late due to the construction (they didn't tell me!). I was given a salesperson who did not know anything about a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited! What's the horsepower? "Um, don't know, I'll have to ask" Is there hill descent control? Is there hill start assist? What is the engine? What are the tires? "Um, I'll have to get back with you about that". The guy was nice and there was no pressure. But really, he couldn't answer any of my questions. I told him about my price offer and that I had done research and thought it was pretty reasonable since the car is not new but used and there are better offers in in the area. He asked me if there were any other cars I was interested in. I said a Subaru Forester. He said he would go look and see if they had any on their other lots. He disappeared for some time and then returned with the manager. The manager told me there was no way I could get a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited anywhere around here for $19k. He said he looked at all of McGrath's lots and there was just no way. He showed me some computer paper which had a price of $25k which he said was the price they bought the car. Are you kidding me! What a bunch of malarkey! He said he would go down $500 but no more. Well, I thanked him for his time and walked out the store. I never did get the info on the Subaru or any of my Wrangler questions answered. It's probably for the best since I doubt the salesperson I was with knew anything about a Subaru either. They should have just told me they couldn't meet my price instead of wasting my time. The whole time I was waiting for the salesperson to find out about the Subaru, they were in the researching if there were any Jeep Unlimiteds for $19k? Really?! Why didn't they just come out and tell me straight up they couldn't meet my price but they could help me find another car? Instead they made me look like I was a liar! I guess it's okay for the salesperson to lie but if a customer is lying, then the management will spend 30 minutes doing research to find out if the customer is lying. Iowa is not a good place to buy a Jeep since they are overpriced here due to their popularity. Chicago is the best place to go to find a fair price. It's not as popular since most urbanites want a fuel efficient car. This experience left me really bad impressions of McGraths and Jeep. Only go here if you want a car that is overpriced and you are not willing (too lazy) to go to Chicago for a fair price.

I brought the vehicle in and spoke to Jason Jones, the owner. After their mechanic looked at the vehicle, they decided to take the vehicle back and give me my money back with taxes and registration included. My experience with D.J.'s couldn't have been more professional and pleasant. We bought an older vehicle with very high miles (over 300k.) The price we negotiated was more than fair. They let me drive the vehicle several times. I looked it over top to bottom and went for it. The battery was shot so they replaced that along with all the clamps for free after we negotiated the price. They had me sign the "as-is" document. Mark explained the meaning to me, that there would be no returns and no "Lemon Law" benefits. I had my eyes wide open. I've been driving the beast as a daily driver for going on 5 months now and am exceedingly happy. The vehicle has ended up (so far, knock on wood) with only one pretty significant "wart" that I'm working on fixing (that they couldn't likely have even known existed). I'll be able to fix it (to the tune of about 25% of my purchase price) and still be way ahead of the book value on this vehicle. I am a very satisfied customer and wouldn't have a problem referring friends. It's a used car lot. They sell used cars.

My husband said he answered all his questions and easy to work with. We were also trading in a Murano. This was not our first time buying a car from Dave Wright. This would be our fifth time purchasing a new vehicle from them. When I returned from my trip we both worked with Zac but unfortunately ran into day off so we worked with Mercedes. She was very personable and knowledgeable and soon we decided it would be the Murano although the Rogue was so much better than the year I had a Rogue so I was very impressed with the changes Nissan made on the Rogue. Mercedes made herself available to us and answered any/all questions we had. I'm not sure we got the best deal on trade-in but saved us from selling it ourselves. Because everything is electronic and cameras everywhere, I'm impressed that Mercedes knew how to work everything on the display panel. I'm still learning myself. I would recommend highly using either Zac S or Mercedes to help you choose a new vehicle. No one was a hard sell, even finance. They just wanted us to get what we wanted. Again, this is our fifth vehicle from Dave Wright and predecessor so we've had a good run with Dave Wright.

Since we will be moving to Marion in the next six months, I will most assurectly visit Dave Wright Nissan for my next Murano (we've had 12).

Overall pretty satisfied. I didn't get a quote beforehand, but was a little surprised at the price, $66 for an oil change, which could be right on market for Cedar Rapids, but my oil change costs $74 in California. I was expecting high 50s given that there were no extra services performed such as tire rotation, etc. Complimentary car wash left something to be desired, Not sure if it's soap or they just didn't get all the dust off my car (it wasn't super dusty, just the normal amount of dust from a car that's sat in a driveway for a couple weeks without a wash or rain). And given that I have a black car, it is noticeable. I have white droplets and residue from my hood, to the top of the car. I don't expect a professional wash, just not expecting residue. If you want extra social-distance I'd recommend walking over to the dealer waiting area, no one was there when I stopped in, and they had a counter area where you could work on a computer, and complimentary wifi, allowing me to continue working during the service, which was great. Customer service was generally very good, my service rep was very friendly and polite and had a great attitude, it was disappointing that he wasn't wearing a mask and only about 25% of the staff seemed to be wearing a mask. I don't know why masks are so controversial, but given the science, as a customer, when I am at a business that can't be bothered to wear a mask I always think, I guess they don't care about the health of their customers. And it becomes a little painful handing your money over to someone who doesn't care about your basic health. If you're immune-compromised, I would find somewhere else to get your oil changed during the duration of Covid-19.
