Kudos to Ed Mangus and his service department! Our Lincoln MKX broke down on 71S north of Cincinnati. We were traveling home to Minnesota from NC. Of course it was Sat. night of Labor Day weekend :( We had the car towed to Kings Ford and went to a Motel to spend an anxious couple of days. Tues AM we were at the service department right after they opened. They were, of course, very busy after a long weekend. At first, they told us it would be late afternoon or even Wed. AM before they could look at it. After explaining we were from out of town, etc., he said they would try to get to it sooner. Well, we were surprised and thrilled to get a call at 10:30 that the car was fixed and ready to go!!! They found a loose electrical connection. We were also amazed at the bill. Being from out of state you never know what might get charged but the bill was labor only and under $200. Thanks again, Ed, for getting us back on the road so quickly! read more

Even though most of my friends do not drive Ford vehicles, I continue to stay with them for one reason - literally - I get the best service at Kings Auto Mall Ford. Really. I know it sounds crazy but I have never had an issue in the last 7 years or so that they did not make a priority, make it easy to understand, try to save me money, even if just a little, and make me feel valued. I have worked with all the registry guys I'm sure, but I most recently worked with Tim. It was a busy day Ford and I needed an oil change and tire rotation before a trip. He recommended a time I should come and even though the bays were 8 cars deep when I arrived he went to the back and asked if they could squeeze me in while I waited. It is that kind of attention that makes me want to drive a Ford. For me it is not the Flex. And I LOVE IT! Wendy K. read more

Do not buy from them unless you're desperate. I was searching for a great deal on a Nissan Armada. I knew it was as is but was told it passed inspection except needing new rotors which we were already aware of. Well, that was a lie. Luckily I purchased an extended warranty but since I didn't get it from Kong's Ford stealership there's a 30 day waiting period. My husband had to fix a few things in the first 2 weeks we've owned it. Furthermore, they were too lazy to even clean it. I had to go to a staff meeting right after purchasing then return to have it cleaned. Travis the manager is extremely shady. I wouldn't trust a word he says. He looked me right in the eye and claimed they'd had the vehicle for about a months even though carfax reported them sitting on it 4 months. I knew the answer to the question before I even asked. I just wanted to see if he was honest. Like I said, my husband is handy, the vehicle was good price, and we got an excellent warranty that is highly rated with BBB so we knew we were gambling when buying from them. If you're not able to take a risk DO NOT BUY FROM KINGS FORD! Go elsewhere!!!! read more

I purchased a 2006 Mazda5 in October for $4700 in cash. Two days after purchasing it; it wouldn't start. Long story short it took talking to 3 different people before they agreed to tow it back down to Cincinnati (I live in Dayton). Once it was down there, it would miraculously start - and sat down there for a couple of days starting without any problem at all. I continue to ask for them to look into it. They finally did and decided it was the cables to the battery and replaced those - I'm no mechanic, but had the same thing done on my Honda by the AutoZone guy for the cost of the cables (less than $100); the service department charged the sales department $400+. So I got my car back and it had been working until a couple weeks later when I needed my heater. Turned it on only to discover the heat doesn't work unless you are accelerating, when sitting idle it goes cold as ice, (so fun having a new baby in the car). They replaced the thermostat prior to the sale of the vehicle, so it had to of had some issues... but it wasn't noted by me until I needed the heat. I called the sales guy back, Corey or Cody, I can't remember and asked about it and he said, "Oh, I've never heard of that before and I don't know..." And never a telephone call back. Then I had 2 flat tires and had to replace all of them $600+, and most recent issue the starter went out (what I felt was the problem two days after purchasing it.) that cost $500. So yes I will admit this was a bit of a hasty purchase so shame on me, however for nearly $5k of my hard earned money I would anticipate that a dealership such as Kings Ford would have done their due diligence in putting a working, reliable vehicle out on the road, I guess that's just too much to ask. So unless you like to make costly repairs on a vehicle you just purchased, DO NOT BUY FROM THESE GUYS! read more

The first time I took my car there was to have the 100,000 mile service done. It was about $700.00 and everything went fine. Although, for that kind of money you would think you would get a free one-day car rental due to leaving the car there all day. My second visit there was a year later for an oil change and tire rotation. After an hour, the customer service rep came and told me that during the tire rotation one of the lug nuts had been damaged during removal and needed to be replaced. Each wheel has one locking lug nut and they suggested all four get replaced at $25/each. I decided to have all 20 lug nuts (5 per wheel) replaced with standard lug nuts at $5/piece for the same price. But, they didn't have any in stock and I would have to leave the car until the next day. I went out to the garage with the tech to get stuff out of my car and the tech immediately starts telling me about 'his Mustang'. So, I got a rental car and left my car there. The next day they called to tell me that somehow two of my wheels were now damaged and would need to be replaced. And they didn't exactly tell me right away that they would be covering the cost of the two new wheels. They waited just long enough to get me even more upset. So, the car would be there for 'another day'. They came and picked up my rental since they weren't going to pay for me to keep driving it. It took 8 days to get my car back. When I arrived at the dealership on pick up day I was briefly juggled between two customer service reps. I was then taken to the cashier and my invoice was laid in front of me and nothing was said. I asked the guy "What's this ?" expecting him to at least give me a summary of what was originally supposed to be done along with the additional service associated with the damaged wheels and lug nuts. He started to meekly read from the invoice and I suggested we go outside and look at the car. When we got out there they had certainly given me two new wheels but they had only replaced 4 of the lug nuts not all 20. So, we went back inside to see if they had them in stock. They didn't and he suggested I leave the car there another day. I told him 'I want to take the car home. They had over a week to do it right'. He sensed I was ticked off and told me there was 'no charge' for any of the service. I told him 'Thank you'. But, at no time did anybody I talk to ever say 'We're sorry for your inconvenience.' How hard is that ? If someone would have said that and taken 5 mins to go over everything that had happened (and if they would have done all the work correctly) and given me a voucher for an oil change/tire rotation for the next visit I probably would have gone back. But they didn't. They just assumed I wouldn't be coming back and figured it wasn't worth putting any more effort into. They didn't do fairly simple work correctly and they didn't make any effort to provide basic customer service. Sure, they ate the bill but they lost a customer. read more

I am a repeat customer and will go back again. A few years ago we had a small problem, but the new car manager stepped in and took care of it immediately. He also followed up with me a couple of times. I have had nothing but positive experiences with the service department and my sales person (John Charles) was outstanding. read more

Awful experience! We were in the market to buy a used F150. Kings Ford had one on the lot we were interested in so I set an appointment over the internet. Our salesman was initially very friendly and showed us the truck. The truck was in very good condition except the tires were obviously shot and definitely needed replacing. We even found repair receipts in the glove box from the previous owner for recently taking the truck in twice for vibration issues and the results on the bill stated was it was likely the bad tires causing it. When it came time to talk money, they lowballed us on our two trade-ins... a jeep wrangler and mustang gt convertible. They also wouldn't come down off their "internet" price on the F150 but 'graciously' said the price would include new tires. How nice of them! We'd already had trade-in values given to us at another Ford dealer that were much higher and we told them this. His reply was "well if you can get that for your mustang there, then you should go back to them and buy their truck". We left !!! Then we went next door to the McCluskey Chevrolet dealer and looked at a used F150 truck they had on their lot. We loved it... and as part of their pre-selling inspection they'd just replaced the tires, rear brakes, serpentine belt, etc. They offered us a very fair amount for our two trade ins and came down a good amount off their "internet price". Also, the truck comes with a lifetime powertrain warranty if we continue to bring the truck there for oil changes. The overall customer experience at McCluskey was awesome and will go back again when I'm in need of another vehicle... the customer experience at Kings Ford was awful. I'll never go there again. read more

The worst dealer I have ever dealt with. I bought a 2006 Honda Pilot. Drove home less than 50 miles. Went to go to work and when I was backing out of the driveway, the power steering was winding. Pulled back in and found the resevoir empty. Added fluid and it went away. While looking for a leak I saw antifreeze leaking. Radiator was empty. Found the bottom of radiator completely shot. Called them and the salesman said bring it in. When I got there the used car manager said 'you drove it home it's yours'. Of course they said they serviced it and it there were no leaks. I wonder why the power steering was empty, radiator leaking, oil was clearly old and had not been changed. Used car manger made up some bullshit.. tried to say he spent 15k on an engine a few days after he bought a used car so I'm lucky it just needs a radiator! What a douch bag? They care nothing about people and doing the right thing. They also said they were not allowed to put a full tank of gas in I came to pick it up. They could only put 1/4 tank at the most. What kind of business is this? I know why they refused to gas it up now. There is a 'check fuel cap' message that appears from the time it is full until it gets to below 1/4 tank. A new gas cap did not fix the issue. It needs the tank dropped and find out where the vapor leak is coming from. Stay far away from these con artists!! They are a disgrace and a complete joke of car dealer. Please tell anyone you know to take their hard earned money elsewhere. read more

This dealership is ran by the most dishonest, and disrespectful group of salesman. Was told a LED Running Lamp would be replaced by using the exact words "we'll take care of it for you" the day we bought our car from them, but upon returning to get the light replaced they sent me home waiting for them to call me telling me the part had arrived... Good thing I didn't hold my breath... A week went by- so I called to check on it... I was passed around to multiple people before being sent to the voicemail of the Customer Service Manager. I waited a few days, still didn't hear anything back, called again... Finally getting ahold of their customer service manager who decided it was not smart to help us replace this light for free "because I already had a bad taste in my mouth regarding my experience and that it would get them no where."!!!! Are you serious- you need to replace it bc we were told you would! After back and forth arguing we were told he would check into it, then we were told they would replace it and to bring it in- we scheduled an appointment and dropped it off- went to pickup the car- light had not been replaced and low and behold it was never even ordered!! Then upon me contacting the service manager again through multiple phone calls he repeatedly stated he would check into it and call me back..... Never heard from him again. This is not reputable business practice. This is disrespectful and dishonest. And to think this was coming from their Customer Service Manager himself, I wonder if the owner knows who he is trusting his company's name to? Now, I definitely have a bad taste in my mouth and other people need to know what may happen to them if they make the mistake of trusting this establishment. read more
