I was interested in the 2011 Mercedes AMG 55 And asked for the carfax as at that time it was not available to me . The salesman promised he would provide the carfax the next day but said I would have to put a $1,000 deposit on it and so I did. Later that night , after zooming in on photos , I discovered that the OEM steering wheel had been changed out to a cheap made in China steering wheel and the red AMG brake calipers were also changed out. Not only that but there is also evidence of the drivers seat being swapped out . These leather seats are well constructed and the one in this vehicle has at least 200,000 miles of wear on it , as evident in the photos , and not 59,000 miles as the odometer indicates. Who knows if that steering wheel air bag is even hooked up correctly in that aftermarket steering wheel and you can kiss the heated steering wheel goodbye . Also the AMG break system is designed to match the performance of the very powerful engine so good luck stopping with those aftermarket non AMG brakes . I notified my salesman that same evening to call off the deal . Also again the next morning and spoke with the manager who said that they would not refund the $1,000 deposit . This was initially all done over the phone and there was never any mention of the $1,000 being non refundable. Who would even agree to that anyway? Almost forgot to mention that the spare tire carrier was originally silver and chrome . This is another swapped out item . Those cost over $1,000. I now see the carfax is published . That rig spent many years in the rust belt of New York where the roads get rock salted heavily , then it spent time in the salty humid air in Florida, finally it made its way to Arizona where the swapping of OEM parts likely began as that's what they like to do in the Phoenix area. Also it was in a collision and also had its share of mechanical issues . I didn't see many documented oil changes either so who knows the actual condition of the engine and other major components ? This vehicle was likely sold at a Phoenix auction price and then shipped to Ohio . These Mercedes are very expensive to restore so , unless you got this one for $10k , I would stay away from it . This used car outfit got their name correct because there is no limit as to how they will steal your money . A very Unlimited low bar in the ethics and morals department.

We've taken several cars there and each time have received good service. Today was an oil change. I appreciate the free inspection to know what needs to be considered for future work. They also give photos of the items in question. The waiting area is always clean and comfortable. When I picked up the car there was a handwritten note thanking me for the business. In this day - any thank you note is an above and beyond gesture, but to have it hand written was a pleasant surprise. I will definitely continue to do business with them.

On the day of dropping the car off he went into great detail what was to be done with the car. He had his itinerary explained to me at length, and even went great lengths to ask me how I wanted the vehicle to be transported. I was ok with him driving my car as it was going to be my daily driver anyways, but he went the extra mile. Due to the full front clip job, the Xpel distributor wanted to do the job themselves, so Jason chose to have my car transported by flatbed rather than driving the car over himself.
