Our backyard project included new flagstone installation, drainage solutions, mortar work, and blending old and new materials together. The crew worked very hard and showed real craftsmanship throughout the project. Pita (Pete) was patient with our many questions and took the time to explain the drainage system and test everything carefully before finishing the job. He clearly has a lot of experience and wanted to make sure the water flow issues were properly addressed. The finished stonework looks beautiful and has completely transformed the space. We especially appreciated the attention to detail, the effort to preserve and reuse existing flagstone where possible, and the willingness to work through challenges as they came up. The project required creativity and problem-solving, and we felt the team genuinely cared about the final outcome. Thank you to Pita and the crew (which includes his hard-working son, Pete) for helping bring our backyard vision to life!

We wanted to replace and enlarge our asphalt driveway with concrete and inlaid brick trim. We…read moresearched Yelp for local masonry contractors and were impressed with the nearly unanimous praise of Ben and his work. He responded quickly to our query and came in person to size up the project and give us an estimate. What impressed us right away was Ben's friendliness, and skill at explaining the process and steps he would take to build our driveway. He made sure to involve us in any decisions that needed to be made. Since we wanted to widen the driveway, he said he could demo part of the brick planter and reroute it to give us more space. We asked for handrails up to our porch and he got us just the color and shape we asked for. We were so pleased with his work that we added on the rebuilding of our backyard planter that was falling apart. Ben and his team worked extremely hard every day, and Ben was on site from early morning to quitting time, just as he promised he'd be. They cleaned up the site every afternoon before leaving. He responded quickly to text messages and phone calls and always kept us updated on anything that came up. Working with Ben was a dream and I felt so confident about his work that I never worried about anything. Since the driveway has been finished, we've gotten several compliments from neighbors and passers by. If you have any masonry needs, we highly recommend Prime Concrete and Masonry.

William recently repaired our CMU masonry retaining wall, including replacing damaged blocks and repairing and regrouting the mortar joints.
