Good breakfast spot My friend and I wanted a nice breakfast meal. This place did not disappoint. The food tasted so good. There was a sign stating "farm to fresh" and the food tasted fresh. The service no issues. Absolutely delicious biscuits and gravy. Can't go wrong with that choice.

Backstory: It's the last Sunday of October. My friend needed me to pick him up instead of Ubering/Lyfting with the proposition of brunch as a reward. Of course I took him up on his offer since you never turn down free meals/drinks. And since he really wanted to try this spot, we ended up here. Multiple reviews claim this is a hidden gem and they couldn't be more accurate in their claim. It's a small venue with a coffee shop-like interior (minus the cozy sofas and lounge chairs) containing several tables and booths for seating. May not be appealing on the inside but the smell of grease, coffee, and jam as you walk in will compel you to stick around and order. Upon being seated and receiving some H20s, coffee, and orange juice, I decided on the Brisket benedict w/ potatoes and my friend ordered the Southern Breakfast (dog eggs, pancakes, pork sausage, and grits). We also got a side of chorizo and extra biscuits for both of us. The portions are quite large (typical of Texas) so we couldn't finish everything but did the best we could. First, those biscuits, OMFG!!!!! Fluffy, buttery, great texture, slap some of that butter/jam mixture on top and you'll want to slap someone. Might be the best biscuits I've had in Houston so far. The brisket benedict had a nice amount of brisket that was lean and tender; pierce that egg and mix it with the brisket and hollandaise over the biscuit platform gives a savory rich bite every time. My friend enjoyed the grits they served, not too runny and seasoned well. The pancakes were also rich and savory as well with some syrup and add that butter/jam mix to it. We probably didn't need to order chorizo since we we're stuffed from everything else but I added some to the benedict (and he added some to the grits) and it takes the dishes to another level! If you're in the Spring area, you've got to check this place out. Aside from brunch/breakfast ,they have a keto menu and lunch items (burgers, sandwiches, wings, entrees, salads) if you're not in the mood for breakfast/brunch. But let's face it, breakfast is what they are known for and they kill it here!

One of my elites went to Kings Blu Jam Cafe, so I went to Kings Blu Jam Cafe (bonus points if you know the reference). Tucked in a tiny shopping strip across from my beloved fav gem of an egg roll place (Robin's snowflake donut), they don't look like much. With the dangling lights, old school tunes, and shades of blue diner decor worn (with care), I was expecting southern comfort finds...butter, cheese, gravy, eggs, and biscuits...I was not expecting keto options! I went for the chicken & waffles (which is offered for slightly less on the breakfast menu). I was asked if bacon, cheddar & jalapeños were alright in my waffle, and while I'm a purist, I accepted 2/3 :). I know I'm not alone in feeling North Houston could really step up their chicken and waffle game, so I'm always up to give a new place a try. The chicken tenders were huge! I'm addition to the size they arrived heavily breaded and well seasoned. They had a handmade/homemade feel which was a nice change of pace. The waffle was keto? The texture was too crumbly for my taste but arrived well seasoned. It leans towards the savory side, so paired with syrup the chicken, waffle, syrup trio works. I personal think a little more salt would really set it off, but that's just me. It's a solid choice. With the waffle texture & chicken breading expect a messy plate. The service was casual and friendly, there's plenty of natural light (the food is good) & the restaurant would be easy to navigate via wheelchair. I'll be back to try other options in the future.

Food was delicious, service from Candace was amazing and atmosphere was just a chill vibe! Definitely will be back !

Customer service was great, food on the other hand could have been better. I had the eggs Benedict with gravy and biscuits. The plate was drenched with the gravy and that part wasn't appealing at all. The side potatoes were cold, but the jam was great! I'll give them another try and hope that the 3 stars turn into 5 stars.

UPDATE!! Went back last week (a week after my initial visit). This time we ordered Togo. We ordered the appetizer chicken and waffles (I think sliders?) and wasn't as impressed. Don't get me wrong, the flavor SMACKED, but compared to their entree chicken and waffles this just doesn't compare. Id recommend the entree over the appetizer but again, you'll still love the appetizer if you order it. Balsamic grilled chicken sandwich was the other thing we ordered. This was *mwuah* delicious. I was nervous it would be too vinegary but it was the perfect amount of flavor without the pucker. Idk about y'all, but I've had some balsamic dishes that are overpowered by the balsamic flavor. This dish is perfectly balanced and HUGE. I'll definitely order this again. Unfortunately they didn't have the sausage bites again. Clearly there's a reason! I'll go back again and hopefully get to try them! (I've been going on Monday/Tuesday and the servers said they ran out on the weekends. So if ya go on the weekend make sure you try them!)

Stopped for a late Sunday brunch and luckily found this spot open until 3:00 pm on Sunday. Cozy and casual atmosphere would have given 5 stars but the waitress forgot items from our order not a bid problem, there was more than enough food!

Nothing like a surprise "inflation charge" of 15% on the bottom line sale... Up front notice would have been nice .. Food was average... Not worth going out of my way .. Don't think I'll give this one another opportunity... Just my opinion...

Y'all- were back. And OMG, the chicken cauliflower mac and cheese is TO DIE FOR DELICIOUS! You could almost call it a soup b/c it is swimming in the most delicious cheese sauce. Hubby had the keto breakfast sandwich again- and that plate was just about licked clean. We ordered a HALF size of the keto shrimp and (cauliflower) grits. Hubby's over there making mmmm and yummmm and himhmm noises while I type. Giant shrimp, tons of bacon, collard greens. This is a southern specialty done RIGHT! I. Need. A. Bigger. Stomach!! Hubby's gonna have to roll me home. Hmm.... I wonder if they have any keto desserts today? (Side note: A/C just don't keeping up with the heat this summer. But I'm willing to sweat for this food. It is so good!)

Breakfast at Blu Jam, pork chops, american fries, and eggs also sausage, eggs, and bacon.

Friendly service and food was good. Oh! but the homemade jam is a must try!! This is simple homestyle foods cooked like you would at home. Add a coffee and cappuccino and it hits the spot.

Tried this place for the first time and when I tell you that omelette was on point. It was so stuffed that I had to get a to go box to take the rest home . I got that thang packed with: -spinach -tomatoes -bell peppers -Onions -mushrooms Make sure to get a biscuit on the side too , they serve with what seems like fresh made jam. Trust me when I tell you, your gonna love it

My only complaint is that I paid $20 for a cup of coffee & a grilled cheese sandwich w/ caramelized onions. The onions were not browned. I did not eat the sandwich. Everything about the experience, otherwise, was amazing. But, I left feeling over charged & under served.

Thick-cut, crispy, and full of flavor--hands down the best thing on the table. The smokehouse platter was more than enough food for two people. The brisket sliders were tender and flavorful, the wings were great, the pickled peppers were a nice touch, and the ribs were finger-licking good. The only downside was the potato skins--they were just meh compared to everything else. Overall, great food, great service, and a really nice atmosphere. We had to request various items multiple times from multiple people before they were actually brought over to us. No big deal, we weren't in any particular rush, but have you ever gotten that feeling like you're bothering the server every time you ask for something? That was that feeling. It was nice and thick and a great size, plus it was delicious! I couldn't finish it, I was soo full! The pecan butter was scrumptious and the berries were fresh and sweet. Both in great proportion to the waffle. The bacon was crispy and served warm. Overall a delicious and plentiful breakfast. CLEANLINESS: The place was clean, clean. The bar, general restaurant area and bathrooms were all spic & span.
