Average Chinese food. I like 2 blocks from this place & barely eat there. Their Fried rice is pretty good, but they drown food in greasy sauces. I have to tell them "very little sauce" every time I call to get the Chicken & Broccoli. General Tso's is not that good, Chicken too soft & bland (I like it crunchy). Shrimp Lo Mein is ok, I like the King Pow chicken, but half the dish is celery. Not my go to, I usually order from the place around the corner. read more

While the food is pretty good here, the major problem with this place is the actually pricing of the food here. I went here once with a food order, they priced out the order and it came to $45, however I went to Panda Garden on Union Turnpike and got the same order for closer to $30 instead. After that experience I never ordered from them again, because everything I looked at was always cheaper at Panda Garden. I only go here because of proximity. It was the nearest Chinese spot where I live and pretty near my workplace as well. But ugh, their service and delivery sucks. Exhibit A: My boss and a bunch of my coworkers ordered here and they took FOREVER to deliver. On top of that, King Wok got the order wrong: they put white rice instead of pork fried rice on our boss' spare ribs lunch special. So we called them and nicely asked if we can get what my boss wanted. They said yeah, and we waited for ANOTHER 45 minutes. By that time she was starving, so we called again. The lady who answered did not even apologize for the delay, in fact she got annoyed when we explained that my boss didnt want the white rice and snarkily said, "Well why don't you eat the spare ribs first, then eat the rice when it comes?" Another time, they delivered us a whole bag of takeout for an entirely different address and (obviously) and entire different food. We didn't even realize until we had opened everything and went around asking everyone "Hey... did you order this?" We had to call the place and the delivery guy took back all the food. In a perfect world he would have thrown that isht out, but I'm pretty sure he just went on and delivered all that opened stuff to wherever it needed to go originally. I feel bad for whoever had that. I mean, we didn't really spit on it or whatever, but still. Every time we order from that freakin place there is ALWAYS something. We don't get sauce, we don't get utensils, one time they even forgot to give us rice! I guess its partly our fault because we keep ordering from them. One of these days I'm going to throw out King Wok's menu from our menu folder. Exhibit B: My boyfriend and I were doing the laundry and we got so hungry and cold that we decided to take out food from this place. So we go home and we open our food, and well what do ya know, no soy sauce, no utensils, no napkins. Then I noticed that sauce was all over the table. At first I blamed it on my boyfriend's poor utensil coordination skills, but it got suspicious when it came to a point where there was more sauce on the table than on my boyfriend's food, so we lift it up and there. Was. A. Giant. Hole. On the plastic container's bottom. The plastic was all cracked and leaking!!! We went back to the place and told the person at the front (he seemed to be the owner) of what happened. We even brought the container to show him (and everyone) how huge the hole was. Instead of being apologetic he actually gave us an attitude, mocking us and asking how rice could leak out of a plastic container. Listen, if you like a lot of sauce in your rice that could actually be possible. I mean, we went there not to start a fight but just to let him know to be careful next time and make sure everyone would not try to put food on a container with a hole on it because it would just not work out since gravity exists. Also, what if there were pieces of plastic that got mixed in with the rice and we ate it? Is he gonna comfort us when we end up having a hard time in the bathroom? Well having said our complaints we went on our way and vowed never to eat there again... I'd rather walk down a couple blocks to Peter's Kitchen. Or to that Khyber Indian spot by Union tpke and Parsons... Mmmm. I have half a mind to go right now. And screw you King Wok. read more

Can't say anything bad here. Fantastic clean Chinese food. Not greasy and oily like most places. Their General Tso's chicken is by far the best in the area! Fried rice is never burned or greasy but I guess could use a little egg in it but, this can be added as per your order. Service there is fantastic. The one guy who runs the place has top notch customer care and everyone there so far, they take orders very well. The wait time for me is usually 15-30 at MOST. 10 dollar lobster special. Basically, chopped up sections of lobster in black bean sauce. We ordered a spicy and mild. They gave us two milds. The lobster comes with white rice and a can of soda. The lobster was actually pretty good and the sauce was pretty tasty. We got it for takeout, but there are a few tables there. If I get the right order next time, I'll probably give them that 5th star. The lot gets really packed, so parking might be an issue. read more

I've been gettin my food from here for years. I love it. I either get the Mixed Veggies w/ Garlic Sauce or Sesame Tofu. Yeah they forget the free soda sometimes but they always make it up with an extra free soda with the next order. They're quick and the food is great. read more

I wanted to try this place because I always pass it and read some decent reviews about it on here. Anytime I order Chinese I always get the sweet and sour chicken. I ordered it here and really didn't care for it. Everything was extremely bland, the sweet and sour sauce was just sour and the fried rice was extremely dry, flavorless and a bit hard. Perhaps it was old. I gave it another chance and ordered the four piece chicken wings and fried rice and I took one bite of the chicken and threw it out. It was covered in fat that probably should have been removed before battering and frying. If every other Chinese place was closed around me, maybe I'd order from them again. read more

Terrible! Ordered delivery yesterday and specifically asked for some forks, spoons , and plates. Did not receive any of those, they didn't even give me any sauces for my food! I had construction going on at my house. So the whole point of the delivery was so we wouldn't have to do the dishes! To make things worse, the beef in the beef and broccoli that I ordered was going bad! The minute I opened the plate, a musty sour smell struck my nose and I almost can taste the rotting in my mouth. This is your standard Chinese restaurant, which you probably won't want to eat there unless you have no place else to eat. This is probably the best Chinese takeout within 10 miles radius of this restaurant. I go here for lunch menu often and I've never been disappointed. The food tastes fresh and they don't skimp on ingredients. The price is slightly more than other takeouts but its definitely worth it. Really good food. I only get the sweet and sour chicken and its amazing. The sauce is really, lots of pineapple and spices. The pork fried rice is delicious with 2 packets of soy sauce. The restaurant itself is really clean for a Chinese restaurant. You can even rest your elbows on the table and counters without fearing of leaving the joint with huge oil stains. The staff is really nice and an order usually takes under 10 minutes. I'd say they are about a dollar and change over priced, but the food is really good. I've been living a stone's throw from King Wok and have frequented them forever. When the owner ran the store, the food was good, fresh and not greasy. After receiving overly greasy dishes with more oil than sauce, I started going elsewhere. Tonight we decided to give them another try. Sorry to say it's the last time. Not only were both dishes swimming in oil, but the Chinese vegetables in garlic sauce consisted of 95% broccoli and the tofu with mixed vegetables had almost no tofu. I like this place. Been going there for years. they are quick, good lunch specials and really good fried rice which matters to me a lot. Not like the steamed yellow rice with frozen vegetables you get from a lot of other competitors in the area. If I wanted that I would go to the local Mexican place down the street.
