I think this place has been around for a while, but might be under new management. The inside of the restaurant seems bright and clean. The standard take-out place where you can see the kitchen and there are a couple of tables. Even though I was the only customer, there were many people picking up for delivery services. I've usually order through UberEats but I was nearby and decided to pick up. The prices in store are exponentially better! I was greeted upon walking in with a smile. I ordered half chicken with green plantains because I wanted something light. Everything was made perfectly. The chicken was crisp, the outside of the plantains had a bite with a fluffy inside. Their standard noodle/rice with protein dishes do not disappoint. The food isn't greasy or the sauces too heavy. The menu seems limited, but maybe things are available by request. And they have milk teas! If they were a bit closer, this would be my go-to Chinese spot

The service was amazing and the manager is superb on recommending food choices and i saw that he is training and respecting his employee well. The viand pork pepper steak is well cooked and tasty not salty and dry. You can get a complimentary drinks when you do a review like me. Will recommend this place to my friends and family for sure.

I enjoyed this, crab Rangoon could of been crunchier and the hunan beef a spot spicier but good for my Chinese food cravings

FYI, these guys have new owners/chefs, therefore the food quality may have changed. I've been ordering from New King Garden for the past three years or so and I am never disappointed. Their fried fish, fried jumbo shrimp and egg foo young are among my favorites. They are always polite when I call or stop in and don't treat people like cattle being put to pasture. Delivery is fast and I believe when you call in your order, the minimum is $7 I've just figured out they take online orders and have since been placing my orders through Yelp. $15 is the online order minimum. If you ever need chinese food delivery, check these guys out! They also have a pretty expansive menu, including buffalo wings, etc.

I really like them, food is always just the way I ask for it to be cooked. I just wish that they would stop using STYROFOAM!

They have a larger dining room that's perfect for big groups, so getting everyone together is comfortable and stress-free. The food is solid, classic Chinese comfort fare -- flavorful, satisfying, and yes, unapologetically rich in MSG (the good kind that makes everything extra tasty). The Fish Fillet Home Style is always a hit with the younger crowd, and the Double Cooked Pork is another standout -- think lechon-style pork belly tossed with plenty of vegetables in a savory brown sauce. That combo somehow gets the kids happily eating their veggies too. They also do Hot & Sour Soup right -- nicely balanced with the perfect tang and heat. The sautéed snow pea leaves with garlic is a staple order for us, and the pan-fried noodles are consistently delicious with great texture. The crispy garlic chicken was surprisingly good as well -- super flavorful and cooked just right. Portions are generous, making it ideal for sharing family-style. The staff are friendly and quick, and the place is clean and well-kept, which makes dining there even more enjoyable. If you're looking for a reliable, no-frills spot for big group dining with satisfying dishes, Wo Kee delivers every time.

I was one of them when I first visited this restaurant about a decade ago and did so during my recent session again. Though they may be one of the best options for traditional Chinese food in the area, comparing them to restaurants in Flushing would land them on the lower end of the spectrum. With that said, they do certain things relatively well, namely the dumplings. I prefer their pan fried dumplings over the boiled because of the skin texture. For some reason, the boiled ones felt a bit tough and chewy, while the pan fried dumplings were better, especially since it has a crispy crust on the bottom. Fillings I have tried are chive & pork, as well as cabbage & pork. Both were quite good and stuffed to the brim. I also do like their wontons with spicy sauce, which has a shrimp & pork filling. Also plump and juicy, these wontons are quite delicious. The sauce is not really all that spicy, but flavorful. As for other items I have tried, most were not bad but below average. That includes the Dan Dan Mein, Beijing Style Noodles, and the Sesame Pancake with Beef. One thing I would recommend to skip would be the Hot & Sour Soup, which was neither hot or sour. If you are in the neighborhood and craving some dumplings or wontons, then seek out this little shop. However, if you want any other types of Chinese food, I would advise you to skip.

It's changed hands several times over the years that we've lived in the neighborhood, but the food has been pretty consistent. There's not much variation in Beef & Broccoli, Sweet & Sour Pork or Fried Chicken Wings. What has changed with the current owners is that they've tried to branch out from the cookie cutter Chinese takeout by expanding into other Asian cuisines, such as Thai. The main printed menu still has the standards, but new hand written menu signs hang from the wall with dishes such as Pad Thai and Pineapple Fried Rice (*w/ choice of protein). We still like to get our regular Pan Fried Pork Dumplings, our favorite Cold Sesame Noodles, Sesame Chicken (or Sweet & Sour or General Tso's) & Moo Goo Gai Pan. I like to add a large quart of Wonton Egg Drop soup for good measure because I love soup. It's Chinese-American comfort fast food, not something my mom would make, but it gets the job done quick. Pretty much any size order you throw at them, it will be ready in 20 minutes for pick-up. Those blazing hot woks are no joke. And you get a free can of soda for every $25 spent. You can also get a 32 oz quart of their homemade iced tea that is super sweet, but is a great thirst quencher in the summer. They take credit card payment (not sure which ones, probably Visa & MC) without additional fees and they are closed on Mondays.
