Chicken quesadillas
Joshua O.

I ordered three chicken quesadillas. One quesadilla was stuck to another. They were cheesy and had the right amount of chicken. It also had salsa which I wasn't expecting. The inside of the restaurant is big. There were at least a dozen tables. Service was not too bad. I got the quesadillas in 10 minutes or less.

It's been a while since I visited a King Taco. It has to have been years. I was craving a burrito and we happened to be in the area, so we said let's try! I ordered a carne asada burrito and taco, but the meat was extremely tough and tasted old - as if it had been overcooked and sitting a while. Portion size was good and the salsa roja had heat, which I love. The cashier was really nice too and got our order out within minutes. Unfortunately, it's going to be really hard to visit again after the bad burrito and taco. Place was nice and clean and has additional seating left of the cashier past the doorway.

Nice customer service and a clean location. Free parking was a convenient bonus. I ordered a carne asada burrito, and they prepared it quickly, even calling me up to the counter to make sure my order was right. The red sauce was delicious, but the burrito itself was a bit lackluster--there wasn't much flavor, and the rice had veggies mixed in, which I'm not a fan of.

My wife was born and raised in LA and introduced me to King Taco on one of our first dates. We have since made it a mission to try to visit all of their locations. This is my favorite location. The parking is convenient. In a lot around the block that offers 90 minutes of free parking. Seating is decent. There are two dining rooms that usually have available seats. The reason it's our favorite though is the food. The burrito and nachos are always packed with meat. Everything tastes fresh and the wait is usually pretty quick. We ordered this weekend, with a decent crowd, and had our food within 10 minutes. As a LA staple, I can't speak highly enough of King Taco. If you haven't checked it out, definitely give it a try!

I had to pay for my Hot Sauce

I ordered 4 Toaco's and the attendant gave me 1 Hot Sauce. I had to buy 2 hot sauce at the price of .99 cents each little serving for me to enjoy. They said their Policy is 1 Hot Sauce per every 3 Tacos. That's not enough. That's a bad policy to charge more for sauce. It's like asking for a cup of water and requesting a refill, they would charge for that. It's quite a horrible policy.

I enjoy coming here. Tacos and burritos always taste fresh and really good. Love their Carne Asada and Alpastor. They make a really good Horchata. Great customer service. There is a parking garage behind it. There is always a lot of seating even during busy hours.

Burrito de asada

Wrapping skills this looks terrible and was hard to eat , the portion of the food made the burrito look small compared to other places first and last time coming to this location

Carne Asada Sopes

My whole family LOVES King Taco. I've grown up with this food, so it's extremely nostalgic for me. For years, we've made trips to LA, trying to secure some extra red sauce for the family, and then freezing some to enjoy later. The sauce alone makes the drive worth it. I'm also a big fan of the sopes here! Are they the best ever? No, but they're still delicious. I truly don't understand the negative reviews for Kt in general, hoping this remains a family staple forever!

Food is great. BUT. THE RESTROOM STINKS I really enjoyed my food until I decided to use the restroom. I almost vomit. I'm sure they use the restroom themselves I really can't imagine that they don't smell it.

Cheese and jalapeño tamale
Sarah J.

I've never eaten a taco at King Taco (vegetarianism), so I can't speak to tacos which is what most people get here obviously. What I will say is that the cheese jalapeño tamales are underrated. I'm always pleased at the flavor and texture of the tamales. I also love the horchata here, I don't know what brand it is or if they make it in-house, but it's really good. This location has a lot of seating and the service was quick when I went. Some employees only speak Spanish but it's easy to communicate with them, so it's not really an issue.

I placed an online order on Friday 03-27-2026 around 7:47pm and went to the store here in Glendale King Taco #29 @ 117 E. Broadway. I ordered 1x chicken flauta, 1x sope, 3x taco (asada) and 2x tamal sweet. When I got to the store, the guy at the pick up counter told me that they just ran out of the tamal sweet. So I said to just cancel the tamal. I thought the other guy who stepped in was going to give me my refund but he just ended up talking to one of the cashiers. I didn't understand what they were talking about but I guess he was explaining to her that my order was placed online. When the cashier was available to speak with me, she told me that since I placed the order online that I would have to cancel the tamal order online as well as they can not give me a refund or cancel just the tamal. They would have to cancel my entire order. She toldme that I can cancel it online. I tried doing it at the store but I couldn't figure it out so I decided to just go home and figure it out there. But when I got home, there is no way that I could cancel the specific item that was not available let alone an option to edit or cancel my order. So I called the store, spoke to Bernice (i think is what she said) and told her that I can't cancel my order online. She put me on hold and said to wait as she tried to figure it out and look at her phone. She couldn't figure it out either and just referred me to contact customer service. I tried to email that night the listed contact info on the website: customerservice@kingtaco.net but no response. I sent a follow up email on Monday 03/30/26 and I still haven't had any response whatsoever as of todays writing this 04/01/2026.

Nachos with receipt

Horrible. Not even one free salsa with my nachos. They charged me $0.99 for each tiny cup of salsa. Not even 1 to compliment my plate. I keep giving them chance after chance. I think this is the last.

My wife wanted to stop by here today for lunch after our doctor appointment in Burbank. We parked across the street in the parking structure and walked to this place. They were not busy at all right at noon. I saw they now accepts online order and also encourage you to make an account with them to get points. I got four carne asada tacos, my wife got her sopes with carne asada and her horchata. They made our food quick because by the time we sat down, they called our order. I just asked for the red salsa and that's what they give me. The tacos here good and my wife loved her sopes. An employee walked up to us and asked if we needed anything. So the customer service we experienced today was good.

What is gluten free on the menu?

I don't think they have gluten free stuff on their menu.

Do you take phone orders?

Yeah but you might as well walk in and order cause even if you give them 15mins plus the order won't be ready you'll still have to wait in line, remind them about the order, and only then will they start to make your order after youve paid for it… Read more

It was still good and the presentation was honestly very artistic. As it darkened outside, the overhead lights dimmed inside the restaurant and their colored lights grew stronger! We ordered several frozen margaritas and they were generous sizes for a decent price, but were very melted by the time they were served. They were also a bit bland: not very tart, sweet, or strong. I shared a plate of the flautas (two steak / two chicken) and three chicken enchiladas, which both came with rice and beans. Everything was made well and the flautas were super crunchy, so that was a huge plus! It was enough to have plenty of leftovers if you're not too hungry. We were celebrating a graduation and didn't know there was a cake holding fee of $15, which I personally feel is on the pricier end. The food service was a bit slow, but we all got our food around the same time. Our servers were also very attentive and accommodating. It's genuinely a nice place to have dinner if you're at the Americana at Brand.

Ok. Don't let those good drinks you got at the bar that one time fool you. I should have "listened"…read moreto all those other reviews. The food is not good. There was little to no seasoning. The food came out tepid at best and then left a greasy taste in your mouth. The flautas were weirdly covered by excess shredded lettuce, tomatoes and sour cream (to cover up the ridiculously thick tortillas covering the tasteless meats inside, no doubt). The carnitas were lacking in flavor. The drinks bought to the table lacked the flare (and the flavor) of those we had at the bar. The space itself, is weirdly expansive. The mirrored ceiling makes the empty coldness even worse. Top tip, don't go and wait for a table - any table - anywhere else at the Americana.

I can emphatically say he's the best musician from the lineup. We were there on an off day, i think it was a Thursday, and we experienced another musician, David, he's ok, but he takes super LONG breaks, we specifically went there for the live "now Thursday music" which is great, but David just retreats to breaks tooooooo long. The music isn't upbeat. He's talented, but for the ambience, the musicians should make it fun and upbeat with some medium tempos as well. Roger, out of the lineup, is by far the most fun and upbeat, and he is so nice and personable! We went for lite appetizers and drinks, but roger made it that much more fun. We ended up staying until he was done. We gave him a very nice tip, and he was so grateful. Throughout the evening, we requested a few tunes, and he played them! We love his music and his energy! Roberto was fantastic as well, with positive energy and very friendly! We will be back soon, and will check Casa's website for Roger's dates!! He's MAGNIFICENT!!!!!!
