I love the drive up ordering service at this location. The drive up order team is amazing and always picks great produce. They're friendly, quick and unload/bag my groceries perfect. No cracked eggs or smashed bread and bananas. It does get busy so early mornings are the best time to shop in store for the best selection and no waits. read more

Staci at the self checkout was super nice, patient and helpful. So I let her manager Kayla know that she was super helpful and patient. I really needed that because I was so shook up from watching the local Xfinity store, which I entered because I needed phone service. First time there and I watch the GM berate an employee for having diabetes, and kick me out for being a "hacker" because of my Autism awareness Captain Crunch whistle. I told him it's for autism and got told I can talk so I don't have autism. He then trespassed me from the store, after I told him I had Asperger's. He told me to go to McDonald's and shove a burger in my @$$ then. He called the police so I left willingly. He then called me from a blocked number pretending to be the police saying something about not vandalizing the store later. Absolutely atrocious. I'm done with this King Soopers unless they stop checking receipts. I've literally shopped at this location since it opened back in the 80's, and over the course of those decades, I haven't stolen anything. I'm not going to keep shopping somewhere that treats customers like criminals. It's not like when the check receipts at the Walmart on chambers and parker, at this King Soopers the security guard is rude and physically blokes you from leaving the store. I don't like that either, but at least at Walmart there's room to ignore them and walk by without showing your receipt. read more

This store is terrible! I waited over 30 minutes for my pick up order! The department Manager did come out after 20 minutes but had the WRONG ORDER! She promised to be "right back" but after nearly 15 more minutes, I called and was asked to "wait a little longer". I was transferred to the store manager (who refused to give his name). What an attractive location and experience this was. Parking was not a nightmare, the first thing I noticed was the colors and oh-- a Starbucks!!! A built in cafe smells of roasting marshmallows and teas!! There was lots of neon signs and marble flooring. It almost sparkles when you walk into a mist of fun. The restrooms are easy to spot. There are no stairs, like the annoying location in Parker Rd. How do you expect me to climb all those stairs to use the restroom?! The best part was the 0 waiting in line for customer service. I only came here for the CoinStar machine and it felt nice for once not to have thousands of people circling around me while I want space for myself. The coolest thing about this location was the little section with lots of books and movies, my king Soopers at my place doesn't have this feature. This location seems less busy than most. Good shopping experience. All staff seems friendly and helpful. I recently discovered a Kroger brand item that is amazing. Krogers' Carbmaster flavored individual yogurts. They are only available in individual size, but they are still inexpensive at $0.40 a piece. They only have 60 calories, 4g Carbs, and 8g or 9g of protein. I know what you're thinking... "Cardboard," but nothing could be further from the truth! Prepare to be mind blown! I think the Cinnamon Roll and Black Forest Cake flavors taste the best, but they are all good, and if you let them sit in the freezer a bit, who needs Ice Cream?!? I actually like this King Soopers versus the one off Smoky Hill. If you live in this neck of the woods it isn't much of a difference in drive. They have been working to update it so it will only get better (or at least one would hope). Sure the parking lot is crazy, but they tend to be a bit better about cleaning up carts and keeping up with snow clean up! Plus I haven't run into the problem here that I have at other Kings where they stock during the day (pet peeve!). It's a Kings so it isn't greatly different than others I have shopped at, but I just like it a bit better! read more

Went in to grab a few things. My daughter was looking for Celsius Energy drink. We couldn't find it. Asked the cashier, and she said she didn't know. I asked her if her manager knew, she called him and he came up and said he didn't know either. Told us if they had it it would be back on "that wall" and pointed to the other end of the store. It's like I never learn....but, this time I did! I will never shop at this store again. I went in to grab a few things and figured since I was there, I would head over to the deli counter. The deli counter was packed and no one knew who was next in line. Eh, no biggie. The deli worker told me she would be right over and quickly cleaned off the slicer in the back. As she was walking over to me, I asked the person I was speaking to on my cell phone to hold on and put my phone by my hip. The deli worker looked around at everyone, not knowing who to help first, and then looked right at me. I said to her "'I'm ready whenever you are"- it didn't seem like anyone else was ready to order. She nastily said to me "I don't help people who are on their cell phone" and proceeded to help someone else. I get it- it's rude when you have to wait for someone to get OFF their phone when a line was building up, but I was not having a conversation on my phone. She had my undivided attention. I promptly left the counter, had the manager paged and told her what happened. The manager offered to get me whatever I wanted from the counter, but I was so done. It's bad enough the store is always crazy, no one seems to know what's going on, but now the workers dictate who they help and who they don't help? Yes, in a medical office of any type, it's rude to use your phone. But, this was the DELI COUNTER. I hate this store and will never shop here again. read more

Terrible customer service! I rarely leave bad reviews but this place is consistently bad. Ruth and the pharmacist have no sense of customer relations whatsoever. My doctor had changed my sleeping medication and they refused to fill it until she confirmed with my doctor (this is on a Friday evening mind you, meaning she won't talk to him until Monday) when I verified exactly what he changed it to, she said "I have to hear that from your doctor, not you." In regards to my other medication, I have to take it every morning to even get out of bed. I had taken my last dose that morning (as directed) and would be out the next day, she refused to fill it and said "Just because your doctor sent it doesn't mean I have to fill it!" And then walked away from me while I was nicely asking how that makes any sense?! Take your business somewhere else. I sure did. They don't care about their patients. read more

Had prescription called into pharmacy. Show up a couple hours later stand in line over 20 minutes to find out it's not in stock and may be in the next day after 4:30. This is no bueno when you need medication that day. Back to Walgreens, won't ever use their pharmacy again. Let me start by saying this to place use to be my favorite spot to shop at but after Friday i won't be going to this one I'll be going to the one on Hampden. The 12 -2 liter soda policy is honestly one of the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard of coming out of a grocery store putting a limit of how much of an item you can buy. But okay i get it after calling back on why the reason because you don't wanna run out for the rest of the costumers kinda makes sense the way the employee Jason K acted was what made matters worse. After just telling me he couldn't sell me the sodas and going back and forth on how it was for a party and him just say i can't sell you more than 12 per house hold per day. He literally argued on how he could keep track of that if i could have easily gone back and not used a card and get more soda that way how it didn't make any sense and just said he couldn't sell me anything. My mother in law that was which me which i told me was a different house hold and different card took some of the sodas and when to a different cashier has the nerve to tell me. Since my mother in law took 5 sodas elsewhere he could now only sell me 7. So whatever this is already so embarrassing and upsetting u rings me out for 7 Sodas! And takes my cart with the rest of the sodas and put it in the back and doesn't even offer me a new cart like im supposed to carry these back to my card. I had to literally ask the bagger now thats look and this all happened to get me a cart. Im so done shopping at this place! read more

The grocery itself is nice; decent selection and the produce is typically good quality. But that's not what this review is about. Don't send your prescriptions to this pharmacy. They take forever to fill them and the customer service is terrible. I keep having to wait 1 week+ for one of my prescriptions, even though I've been filling this particular medication at this pharmacy for ten months now. Every time I get a new prescription, no matter what it is or where it's from, it's never ready same day. I've had to wait two days for antibiotics, which is ridiculous when you have an active infection that needs controlling. I was ordered cough medicine and it took them a week to dispense the pills. And then when you call the pharmacy staff act like your the unreasonable one for trying to figure out why it's taking so long! If you have the option, go somewhere else! The points aren't worth it. UPDATE: They got my prescription on 4/28, it is now 5/5 and they're just getting around to filling it, because "we're doing covid vaccines all day". And while I understand that they're doing extra work, that doesn't negate the fact that I've been out of this medication for four days and it's really been screwing with my health. She also told me today that they would have to order another medication that was prescribed to me on Monday. My question is why wasn't it ordered Monday??? You really want me to go without medications that bad? After I get these filled, I am moving to a different pharmacy because these people suck. read more

It's still my local grocery store, but I'm less than thrilled that they've cut their hours -- in the past few months they've gone from 24/7 to 5 am-midnight, and I hear they are considering further cuts. This is the only full-service grocery store for probably a 5-mile radius, so the reduction in hours really sucks if you live nearby. If you need to buy groceries between midnight and 5 am, you're stuck with the King Soopers at Chatfield and Wadsworth or another store even farther away. read more

This location is not too big but it has everything we need. They keep the place clean and the customer service is good. Not a coffee drinker but there is a Starbucks inside. They have sushi that is always fresh and available. And the deli has a good selection. The produce is usually well stocked and they have a decent selection of meat. ...and a great chip isle! I never thought much about rating a grocery store until my wife worked here for 6 months. Then I started realizing what goes into keeping the place up and running, fully stocked, clean, etc. Also, they do take customer service seriously. Finally a King Soopers in Aurora that isn't totally ghetto! This store has a HUGE produce section, nice lighting, and is clean, clean, clean. The cheese bar and sushi bar in the deli were impressive and carried items I've only seen in my friend's Soopers in a ritzy Stapleton neighborhood. I live right next to the location at Mississippi and Chambers but for the better selection and MUCH better store quality I think I'll make the trip to this location from now on. read more

What can I say. It's a normal grocery store. When your shopping , The Waiting lines or not horrible. The cashiers get you in and out at a decent rate. I love using the flip app to help me see what is on special. But I have also learned that there are other specials inside the store. Personally I don't like their parking. Just because I've got into an accident there. Yes they are one way Isles but there parking is all screwed up and there is always horrible traffic just park. Overall good store. For grocery shopping, King Soopers has always been my go-to. I try to avoid this location specifically, however because I can never get everything on my list. Today was no different. They are routinely out of select produce and/or deli items. Their staff is kind, friendly, and always helpful. When asked if I found everything, I often say no and explain what I missed. I've heard from more than one checker that they have a problem with stocking. This location is convenient, but it's worth the further drive to get my full list in one trip and at one store. read more

It's your standard King Soopers. I've become a bit of a Whole Foods snob over the years and I'm always disappointed when I can't find the same things here. I suppose that's to be expected, though. This location is usually pretty well stocked. Everything is easy enough to find, although I can never seem to find everything on my list without consulting the aisle menu or asking for help. The service here is fair. I've never been super impressed or super disappointed. Most of the time I just stick to the self-check out lanes (they have 6 here, which is great). I am pretty disappointed in the quality of their deli foods. I have purchased multiple items here and have always ended up throwing them away. Even with copious amounts of dressing and hot sauce, they are still gross. I will never purchase anything from the deli at this location again. 2 stars because it's your average grocery store with average service and terrible deli food. read more

Hey! King Soop had a facelift! Besides slapping a fresh coat of paint on the place, they re-organized their produce, cheese, deli and bakery sections to various extents. The result is much more pleasing to the eye. Stuff I like about this location: -- Better selection of cheeses. There are now more international varieties, and they often have free samples to try -- Good selection of produce, especially Colorado-grown items. I was impressed by their variety of apples (Jazz, Honeycrisp, Junami, etc.) -- Nice selection of flowers and cookware -- Friendly store associates, for the most part. -- Short waits at the checkout -- Unique check-out process. The cashier unloads your stuff. There is no belt to put everything on. This seems to make things run pretty smoothly and also saves some space. In terms of what I don't like: -- The shopping cart situation can get a little hairy, and they seem to have a problem keeping up with demand. -- Some of the aisles can seem a little narrow, especially on busy days Overall, it's a nice change of pace from the Safeway down the street. read more

On the rare occasions my wife allows me to come to the grocery store with her I usually detest weaving through the crowds. Usually you've got the people who can't control their children or are on their cellphones or are just plain picking at their belly buttons. Don't get me wrong, you still have that here, but our normal KS seems to always be blocking the aisles and stocking during the middle of the day, which just makes the traffic 10x worse. The Kings doesn't seem to do that and the checkers actually seem to move just a fraction of a bit faster. read more

I really like this King Soopers. Pretty much here all the time. Good options in produce , helpful staff and there is a woman who hands out stickers to the kids in checkout ( sometimes) . I thought that was a really nice touch. My sons favorite part of this establishment is the sushi station! Depending on his behavior and day at school we'll get a sample from the sushi chefs who are so nice and hold him up and watch them work then purchase a roll ( they have a great and yummy selection of sushi). We come here because of Alice in the deli department. She is so kind. She has sunshine radiating off of her. Everyone has been really nice every time our family goes to shop but Alice takes the cake. Every single customer she interacts with to providing a service or just saying hello has her full genuine attention. This King Soopers is clean with a nice produce section. However, it has the slowest nonchalant checkers and baggers I've ever seen! It's the closest location to me so I stop when necessary, otherwise I drive out of my way to go to a different one. I went today at lunch today and they were so slow and careless it looked like they were moving in slow motion. Unbelievably rude when people are on their lunch hour. And no, it wasn't busy. I actually started to take over the bagging just to get out of there and the checker and bagger made small talk with each other ignoring me, the customer. They didn't even try to move faster. This has been my experience at least a dozen times at this location. If you have an abundance of time and patience, stop here. Otherwise, spare yourself. read more

This location is convenient to my house. We are here once or twice a week. The staff is friendly. Produce is decent. Prices can be high on some things compared to Walmart or Target but we get the bulk of our food here. Registers can be packed during busy times especially on the weekends, so we tend to keep our list short so we can get in and out there quick. Self checkout can be quicker sometimes.
