I hired King's moving off a friend's recommendation and then I saw all the great reviews online. I also had a fantastic experience with King's Moving. I spoke with Omar and he had great communication and took extra time with me answering all my questions and concerns. They were able to accommodate my small move on short notice. The movers called when they were on the way and showed up on ETA. Edwin and his crew were very efficient, did not waste time and made sure each item I had was protected with blankets from scratches and dings along with plastic wrapping all item for the move. We had 2 drop off locations a storage unit and another back to my house. They were very professional and checked in with me about items if needed. 75% of my boxes were fragile filled with irreplaceable art work. They were very careful and considerate when moving these items making sure they were secure on the dolly and inside the truck. I've moved several times before and I highly recommend this company. I will be using them again for sure with an upcoming future longer distance move. read more

Kings Moving Company was simply amazing! They were on time, took meticulous care of our furniture and boxed items , and were hyper efficient. Excellent value and professional! They moved a 2 bedroom apartment with an office, garage and a storage bin from Oak Lawn to Trinity Groves in under 4 hours! Full disassemble, load, u unload, and reassemble! Excellent movers! On time and efficient this team of movers treated our household items with extreme care. They were very organized and ensured everything was in the right place at our new home. We were on a tight timeframe to move and they helped us with a time that fit our schedule perfectly. Prior to the move the company checked in with us multiple times and the day of the move they communicated clearly on timeline and expectations. After the move the payment process was smooth with the ability to pay from our home electronically. The final payment was spot on compared to the original estimate. ***UPDATE*** The owners contacted me and apologized for the service I received. They were kind and professional. I appreciate them addressing my concerns. I wish I could give a five star review like so many others on here, but unfortunately I cannot. I'll be honest and thorough in my review. Pros: Timely - my move was scheduled between 7-8 am, they showed up right before 8 and called to let me know they were on their way. I also received several text messages throughout the week to confirm my move. Innovative - They unfortunately don't move anything delicate in nature (wish I knew this in advance), so they used extra boxes and blankets to wrap my lamps to make sure they were secure and we packed them in my car. Cons: ***HUGE PROBLEM BELOW*** I am nearsighted and only wear my glasses when reading, watching tv and most importantly DRIVING. I had my glasses sitting on top of a nightstand during the move... THEY PACKED MY GLASSES!! THEY LITERALLY PUT MY GLASSES IN A RANDOM BOX THAT WE COULDN'T FIND!! I HAD TO DRIVE AN HOUR ACROSS TOWN TO MY NEW PLACE COMPLETELY BLIND!! WHY DIDN'T THEY ASK BEFORE PACKING MY GLASSES? WHY WERE THEY PACKING MY THINGS? Driving across town squinting caused a MAJOR MIGRAINE and then my blood sugar dropped and I fell extremely ill. Expensive and NOT quick - Based on the reviews I thought they would be moving faster.. not the case at all. I kept noticing they were moving super slow. And I began to wonder if they were taking advantage of me since I was a woman moving by herself. This has made me feel very uneasy and uncomfortable. Did not follow instructions - I **very clearly** listed on each box where they should go.. but somehow I had kitchen stuff in my bathroom and bathroom stuff in my kitchen. As stated above I was moving by myself and unfortunately do not have the upper body strength to move boxes around after they left. They took something without asking.. sort of. - I was being polite and told them I would have offered snacks if my food wasn't already packed up. (I put my food in clear plastic containers) And guess what I saw when they asked me to inspect the truck after the move to confirm all of my items were done? My diabetic safe chickpea snacks!! They took them out of the containers without asking!! I had offered earlier, but not those snacks specifically because I NEED THOSE!! This move was Saturday and I haven't felt right since which is why I'm writing this review. I feel taken advantage of and uncomfortable. I definitely WOULD NOT recommend them if you're a woman on your own, and I definitely would keep my eyeglasses on me at all times. read more

Both times, the team was extremely fast and efficient. The movers were welcoming which was important being a single woman; allowing strangers in can be unnerving. Updated Review: We had some issues during our move. But I was able to resolve the issue after talking with Grant. Grant was proactive and called me to find out what went wrong and promptly took action to fix the issue we had. Original review: Workers did the job ok. There is 80% chance of rain predicted that day. So I asked them to load everything in my garage first but they said that's typically not how they work. The workers were also unable to back up the truck into driveway initially due to limited space. Half way during unload process it started raining and it all got wet on the road and drive way. Workers also hesitated to take off their shoes initially but after I insisted as it's got make carpet dirty, they did. There was some delay due to rain and we had some carpet stain issues. read more

Call them in after a discussion on pricing. They sent me three guys for a flat rate for my studio. The guys were so good and so fast that I paid them $100 tip. They were the nicest three guys from Belize! They definitely made the entire experience good. Without them I was just going to go ahead and use a recommended company nearby. However they were so fast and I didn't have to keep an eye on them or make sure that they were working nothing. They just got it handled. So I really appreciate the renegotiation on pricing and I especially appreciate the gentleman that you sent. I think a huge part of the success of this location is the people that work for you. Each time the workers have been absolutely fantastic. I would definitely recommend this location after my experience today especially after dealing with other moving companies this last week that were awful. I wanted to add that the entire from beginning to end was an hour and 10 minutes! They were awesome! Honestly I was really just upset and sad at how business is done and how people were treating me and I felt taken advantage. After meeting with these three gentlemen and the way that they did their work and their demeanor forget about the company but these three guys just them being themselves honestly gave me a brighter outlook on people in general. I hope that they are getting paid very well and being taken care of very well because it was such an honor to have met them today. He was extremely nice and professional and explained to me how estimates are always higher than needed so that customers are not surprised if it takes longer than calculated and why shrink wrap is used to protect furniture. The reviews don't lie!! I found King Movers through Yelp for my move from Lewisville to Frisco and I couldn't be happier!!!! When Grant called to get details, he said it might sound like overkill but he suggested 2 teams and 2 trucks (3 guys could do it but it would take all day and multiple trips- but 6 guys and 2 trucks could get it done in half the time) He was absolutely right!!!! Nelson, Clifton, and their team showed up right at 7:30am and HUSTLED! The guys were so awesome, nice, polite, funny, and went above and beyond! They loaded both trucks, traveled, and unloaded in a little over 4 hours! And they didn't just put the boxes down, they made sure every box went to the right room, they hooked up all our appliances, and organized the garage- and asked if we needed help setting anything up or adjusting anything! They wrapped all furniture carefully, no broken dishes, and nothing damaged! They made our move SO easy and stress free! (And the cost of 2 teams and 2 trucks was INCREDIBLY reasonable especially for how fast they went) I'd absolutely recommend King Movers - ask for Nelson and Clifton's teams! read more
