I did raise concerns during the process, particularly regarding scope and communication. My intention was always to resolve the issue efficiently, not create conflict. After the job was completed and I provided a rating, I was contacted and asked to remove it. At that time, I was still open to continuing to work together and even mentioned additional projects. However, the focus of that conversation was on removing the review rather than addressing the concerns raised. As a customer, that made me uncomfortable. Payment was completed, and my review reflects the overall experience--not a dispute over payment. I value strong vendor relationships and clear communication, which is why I provided feedback. This response is simply to clarify my experience for accuracy. For additional clarity, I want to address the follow-up communication after my rating. After I submitted my rating, I was contacted and asked to remove it. During that conversation, I was still open to continuing to work together and mentioned additional work. However, the focus remained on removing the review, and I was later informed that the company would not move forward with any future business. As a client, that approach was concerning. In my experience, feedback is typically addressed by resolving the issue or improving communication--not by requesting that a review be removed. I'm a previous customer from July 2024 and Juan was the person who came out and helped. He keeps texting and calling me without any reason, parked outside of my house in his work van, and called me 16 times in a row on 1/14/26. This has been documented in a police report also. Edit: a woman from the business called to ask about this, which is understandable. She was very upset and emotional and I was unable to get her to tell me what she was hoping to accomplish from the call. There were some accusations towards me as well, indicating that I'd done something to deserve the harassment- which is weird all around - so I'm not sure if she thinks customers ask for harassment and want to be called and texted consistently by employees, and if there are some instances in which they deserve it? This experience underlines that there are other businesses to patronize. read more

Communication throughout the process was inconsistent, and there was unnecessary back-and-forth instead of clear resolution. As a result, what should have been a simple repair became more complicated and time-consuming than expected. I have over 25 years of experience in property management and regularly work with vendors and ownership groups. My expectation is always clear communication, accurate scoping, and professionalism--especially when dealing with time-sensitive compliance matters. After providing feedback, I was contacted regarding my rating but did not feel my concerns were meaningfully addressed. I would not recommend using this company. Poor communication, customer service, and dissapointing installation experience. We decided to use this company because we were having a difficult time finding another company who would reframe 3 of our doors inside. It took the company a long time to get our doors because we live in a historic home. The unexpected long timeline didn't bother us as much as the actual installation and payment steps for the doors. Kinglocksmith took 3 days to "complete" our new doors but the finished product looked terrible: smudges/fingerprints/permanent/marker/stickers on areas of the doors, nails sticking out of the floor and nail marks on the doors that were not covered, and areas around the doors where there were gaps from the reframing (we insisted they put molding and paint on to make it look less trashy). The company was aware that they had done a poor job finishing the doors and to their credit, they offered to send someone out to try and fix things. However, by the time they were able to have someone come and fix the doors, I had left the country for a trip. I had kindly requested that the company wait to process the final payment for the doors until I could at least view the finished product. They called my husband 4-5 times one afternoon regarding payment and he needed to remind them to please wait until Wednesday so we could both view the doors and they said yes. But they decided to just charge the card anyway on Monday prior to being able to view the finished product. Our new doors do technically close and fit better, but it wasn't worth the above-mentioned hastle. Update: minutes after I posted this review, I received a call from the owner of the company who demanded to know why I wrote a poor review, cut me off when I tried to speak, and was trying to blame me somehow instead of hearing me out. Misleading. They lie to get your business. My bedroom door took 3 mins to open and their price was $185 not the $45 I was quoted twice by phone. I questioned it on the call and was told it wouldn't be much because no need for parts. Just tell the truth! read more
