    Flaming Spicy Tofu
    Azsure D.

Happy to have vegan option in Union Square. Good service, very quick. I ordered flaming spicy tofu. It was not what I would consider flaming spicy ha! But it was fine. I enjoyed the crisp water chestnut. The meal was too big I could not finish it. I had to pay extra for rice. The plate seemed a bit overpriced to me. Gorgeous building and location, and lamp.

Food was really good and service was awesome! Definitely recommend! The restaurant has family friendly ambiance. I recommend many tourists to visit!!

Shiumai - skip, the filling was bland

Good service! We ordered the spicy wontons in chili oil, honey walnut shrimp, beef chow mein, har gow (shrimp dumplings), shiumai, and shanghai soup dumplings. The total was about $113 for our table to feed 2 people. Skip the spicy wontons in chili oil, it was in soup form but the soup was bland and the wonton filling needed more salt. It WAS spicy though so watch for the kick. Honey walnut shrimp was crispy, and not overly sweet. We really enjoyed it and would highly recommend. Beef chow mein was really good, meat was tender and the noodles were flavorful. Hargow was also really good, chewy exterior and filling tasted delicious. Skip the shiumai, it was a let down because the filling was pretty bland. I'd also skip on the shanghai soup dumplings because they were a bit overcooked and did not have any more soup in them by the time we ate them which was a bummer. Overall I'd revisit if I were in the area out of convenience but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here since there are a ton of dimsum spots in SF. Service was good, it's a casual spot to get a bite of dimsum until 9:30pm!

Was happy to find a Chinese restaurant across the street from the Parc 55 Ordered sweet and sour chicken and a side of white rice to go. Server was sweet and told me to sit down while waiting. Food came out quickly. They charge 75¢ for the to-go bag. It was a good portion size and tasted good.

Great, easy-access location. Nice interior, but I ordered out. Woman taking my order was very friendly and helpful. Wonton soup was majestic...SO good! We also had chicken chow mein which was good, but nothing special. Broccoli beef was very flavorful and beef was extremely tender; surprisingly, this did not come with steamed rice. We had green onion pancakes that were savory and delicate - very good. The pork fried rice was good tasting, but had less barbecued pork in it than we had expected. All in all, very good and well priced.

After a long day of traveling from the East coast, we wanted something simple and easy for dinner. King Kee was across the street from Parc 55 where we were staying and was the perfect stop. We arrived a little early for dinner and were one of two tables, but within 30 minutes the place was full. I love that they have all the models of the dishes out in the window and the staff were very nice throughout our dinner. We started with shanghai dumplings (aka XLB) and some hot tea. Then I had the pork chow main and got it spicy. It was the perfect comfort food after a long day and we both had a little left over for a late night snack. We planned on going again during our stay but ran out of time. I saw someone with the roast duck and it looked amazing... maybe next time.

    wonton bug

I door dashed from here and unfortunately had a bad experience. i had a literal bug in my food that was in my wonton soup :( this was so disappointing and i hope i can get some sort of refund :/

I've got food from this place many times but this time did dine in. This restaurant is mediocre. I would love to give them 4 stars if the food taste a little bit better. The restaurant location is pretty good. Close to union square. The menu here is typically Chinese food that you would find any other place. The restaurant seem pretty slow. The service was good , only one person there and the food was fast. I got beef chow fun that I requested spicy , it was not bad. The hot and sour soup was nice but the fried rice was just ok. It's another place that you could stop by if you wanted some Chinese in the area. But if you expect a better experience, I would recommend you to go to China town. There is a lot more good Chinese food there.

Excellent tasting food - wonderful service - very affordable prices. I ordered two types of dumplings a special ordered their chow fun - "house style" which is not on the menu but just ask for it. The food was hot and fresh. The chow fun tasted amazing and was more than enough for 2 people to enjoy. The dumplings were out of this world. I ordered the shrimp dumplings and the traditional pork dumplings. The service is great. They were very attentive and very nice. The food came out quickly. I Galt recommend eating here.

Quick stop for some Chinese food. Not too many tables occupied consider the hour and the day at the time I walked in, but a constant in and out of food delivery kids...good sign. I ordered a classic spicy kung pao chicken with white steamed rice. Good dish, fresh ingredients very kind service. Don't get scared by the plastic made sample dishes in the window.. nothing like what you'll get on the table.. lol

Expecting dim sum it was more or less just chinese food. Along with that they charged $9 for tea.

The space was clean and there's plenty of indoor tables. We got the pork boiled dumplings with red chili oil, dry flat fried rice noodle with beef, the crispy fried chicken, and a veg combo. The food was the perfect level spice, there was a kick for sure, but I wanted to keep eating. It was incredibly good! The food came out as it was ready so it was nice to get the dishes back to back while they came out hot and fresh. The pork dumplings and the noodles were my favorite. Once they started calling tables, it moved really fast. When we were seated, we ended up sharing a table with two other groups of two. I actually didn't mind it at all because there was still enough space between everyone to have privacy. It also made the experience feel more social -- I ended up chatting with the people to my right and left about the food. Everything we ordered was really good. Their popular dry fried chicken absolutely lived up to the hype and was probably my favorite thing on the menu... besides the cherry pork. I feel like nobody talks about the cherry pork enough! It was SO good -- kind of like a sweet-and-sour pork without the sour. I dipped it in soy sauce because I loved the sweet and salty combo together. The dumplings were also really good. The wrapper was thin and delicious, but my boyfriend said he wished they had a little more protein filling and less leek. The green beans are always a hit. The only thing I probably wouldn't order again was the black bean sauce noodles. Maybe I just expected a different flavor, but to me they honestly tasted like regular lo mein. I'm also not a huge noodle person in general, so I'd probably skip them next time and order something else instead. Forgot to mention their prices are on point! Definitely recommend to any of the tourists. I think the weight is definitely worth it and I love being able to take home my leftovers and eating them for lunch and dinner the next day.
