Another while in the wall dining option. Food is not cheap but worth it. Good portion sizes/lots of dumplings for the price! Food comes out quick. They do have some outside seating as well. Not a big place with ample seating if it gets busy.

Ordered a chive pancake that was served piping hot and goes great with vinegar, soy sauce, and chili oil. It's a nice portion and packed full of chopped chives and egg. The chives and egg were mixed well, neither flavor overpowering the other and densely packed. It's a nice snack to have and quite a savory pancake. Not too busy in the mornings and service was very patient and fast. The interior is very simple with some art on white walls, easy to access seating, and overall calm interior looking out into the streets of Chinatown.

Wonderful family owned dumpling house looking a little bit like a kitchen/dinning room. Good price, great services and the star is the food. I had the dumplings and green pancake. Portion more than I could handle.

Good if you like simple handmade dumplings. You can see all the ingredients inside as well. Flavor wise, it was nothing crazy.

Today food is worth going to today because tomorrow you'll wonder why you didn't go yesterday. These are some of the best dumplings I've ever had in my life and I have tried hundreds of dumpling restaurants across the world. This is a must stop if you are in the Chinatown area of San Francisco. The tea eggs are very good here as well. All of the dumplings we tried were excellent and you can't go wrong with anything you order.

Great spot for dumplings of all varieties. We got the chicken and corn dumplings and the pork and cabbage pot stickers. I really liked the pot stickers, they were crisp but juicy inside. I did see that the dumplings were from the freezer instead of freshly made, so the price was a bit high for the quality. But overall it was a nice meal!

Freshly handmade dumplings and can be ordered in soup form also (+1$). Only 4 stars bc I thought it was on the pricier side.

Cozy dumpling spot in SF chinatown that gives off mom-and-pop vibes. The dumplings are a bit small but are very tasty, they have tons of variations on traditional recipes. I liked the corn dumplings with soup the most. There's a ground level and basement level for this seating. despite being seated in the basement, we were still attended to though the server wasn't always present on the basement floor. the restaurant uses paper plates and disposable utensils.

I was greeted right away. Everything is made to order. Looks like the owners were working the counter and cooking. I have walked by and have seen tons of people enjoying their dumplings the onion pancakes was delicious with the hot sauce and vinegar. Ambiance is very clean . Please support this new small business!

What an amazing hidden gem in Chinatown! You can see the dumplings ladies hand crafting these delicious creations. I got the Shrimp Chive & Egg Dumplings (12), Pork and Cabbage Dumpling(12), Chicken Pot Stickers (6) for around $40. This is as authentic of a dumpling spot as it can get. My favorite out of the three was actually the chicken pop stickers. They were pan fried to perfection. The vibes were also immaculate. Sitting outside and munching on dumplings while watching people live their everyday lives in Chinatown... a vibe! Also helps that the service was quick and amazing! Will definitely be back.

Delicious dumplings! Made fresh in house. Very simple spot, but super good. The potstickers were great. They take a bit of time as their hot plate setup space is limited (you can see them cooking), but once they're out, oh boy! They had bit of crunch on the outside, and the inside was nice and juicy. The filling was plentiful and tasty. The shrimp and chive egg filling was so good, very balanced to get a shrimp piece in every dumpling. The boiled dumplings were also really good. The dumpling skin was tender and the filling was flavorful. The pork and cabbage filling was great, always a classic go-to. The chicken and corn was also good. There's various sauces on the side for you to mix yourself. For a tiny spot, they do have a restroom and it was clean.

Small but clean place. Service was wonderful and owner (?) mixed dumpling sauce did us with aged vinegar/chili oil and was so yummy. Had chive pancake, shrimp soup dumpling and pork potstickers... so yummy., definitely will visit again when visiting SF

Review #924 Posted on 9.10.25 This local spot is a hitter. Family owned, and excellent. It's on the corner of right where the financial district & Chinatown meet, Hope I'm saying that correctly. The inside is tiny, maybe 3 tables tops, with a little nook/counter a few people can sit at also on barstools. Then there's 1 table outside with 2 chairs. We ended up sitting there and people watching. It was a cool experience. Not sure if he's the owner or not, but we met Frank, he was awesome. He asked us if we liked spicy food, we said yes, then Frank made us a custom side of chili oil to dip our food in. The sauce was excellent and went well with our fried & boiled dumplings. Another sign this place was/is good was the locals staring at our food as they walked by while we were eating outside. We would 100% comeback to this spot and highly recommend it.

Once they started calling tables, it moved really fast. When we were seated, we ended up sharing a table with two other groups of two. I actually didn't mind it at all because there was still enough space between everyone to have privacy. It also made the experience feel more social -- I ended up chatting with the people to my right and left about the food. Everything we ordered was really good. Their popular dry fried chicken absolutely lived up to the hype and was probably my favorite thing on the menu... besides the cherry pork. I feel like nobody talks about the cherry pork enough! It was SO good -- kind of like a sweet-and-sour pork without the sour. I dipped it in soy sauce because I loved the sweet and salty combo together. The dumplings were also really good. The wrapper was thin and delicious, but my boyfriend said he wished they had a little more protein filling and less leek. The green beans are always a hit. The only thing I probably wouldn't order again was the black bean sauce noodles. Maybe I just expected a different flavor, but to me they honestly tasted like regular lo mein. I'm also not a huge noodle person in general, so I'd probably skip them next time and order something else instead. Forgot to mention their prices are on point! Definitely recommend to any of the tourists. I think the weight is definitely worth it and I love being able to take home my leftovers and eating them for lunch and dinner the next day.

WHAT A GEM in SF Chinatown! 5.0…read more Hubby secured hard to get reservations and the very next day, I see a friend post her visit on IG Stories. I asked her, "What's good?" Her response... "Everything!" That's all one needs to say. At the entrance, clearly marked are signs reading, "Reservations" and "Walk-ins". Since we had reservations, we waited only a few minutes to get seated at the bar. The bar makes it easy to converse with your partner and to peer over as the fire from the range springs up from the kitchen. Our server brought us some "Free Bites" of roasted peanuts and smashed cucumbers. She was such a pleasant lady with quite the wit that made me laugh between courses. We ordered a full bottle of Negori sake. Note: if you do not finish the sake bottle, they cannot pack it to go for you, so drink up! Obviously, we couldn't order everything on the menu. For our first visit, we definitely wanted their special dish, Fried Squab. It was delicious! The meat was moist and the dipping salt with Sichuan peppercorn paired perfectly! Just don't focus too much on the visual... the head and claws. Hot Mustard Jellyfish Salad ~ I loved the "crunch" of the jellyfish and the hot mustard marinade was just spicy enough to start a slow burn up the nose. Beef Chow Fun Noodles ~ Delicious and so very savory. I was amazed at how flavorful this dish was without being salty. Clay Pot Rice w/Chinese Sausage & Bacon ~ Loved how the entire pot was seasoned nicely. The sauce did not only sit at the top, but penetrated deep down into the rice. XO Escargot w/Milkbread ~ I've only had French Escargot and these are just as good, if not better! Fish Fragrant Eggplant ~ Another savory and very umami dish. Red Bean Shaved Ice ~ Always a refreshing dessert. Dig in for the surprise in the center. We had such a nice, cozy dinner here. Even while at the bar, we never felt for lack of space. They paced the dishes out perfectly, so there was always room to eat and enjoy. Looking forward to returning and trying more items on the menu.

Now let's talk about the food!! For dinner, we ordered the honey walnut chicken, broccoli beef, 606 house fried rice, and the pork dumplings. The walnut chicken came with halved walnuts and had a nice honey glaze to it that made it sweet but not overly sweet. For the broccoli beef, the broccoli was nicely cooked and the meat was very tender. We really enjoyed the 606 house fried rice. It wasn't overly fried like most places and felt fresh. The mixture of proteins was also tasteful. Now for the pork dumplings, the presentation was nice and also tasted great with nice hints of shrimp. Stopped by Palette Tea House with The Kid after FoodieLand thinking we were just coming for tea... and ended up having a full experience. We sat at the communal high-top table in the center of the restaurant, which has a small pond built into it with little goldfish and even a tiny rubber duck sitting on the rock formation -- such a cute detail and definitely adds to the ambiance. Our server Ken was fantastic and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. He recommended the Iron Goddess tea, which ended up being excellent. The Kid ordered the Milk Aroma Oolong, which surprisingly tasted almost like milk tea even though it's just brewed tea. Each tea comes with its own kettle, and Ken even came back to refill the hot water for us. For food, we ordered the Wagyu Beef Fried Rice, which was a huge portion and easily shareable. Very flavorful and well prepared. We also tried the Sichuan Seafood Dumplings and the Iberico Pork Dumplings, both of which were delicious. One order is definitely enough to share. The dumplings come with several dipping sauces including soy sauce, vinegar, chili oil, hot mustard, and a cilantro-based sauce that had a slightly sweet, horseradish-like flavor that really stood out. The servers were quick to seat us, give us water and take our orders using their tablets. We ordered the pan fried dumplings and the scallion pancakes. Everything was delicious! The dumplings had a good amount of filling and were hot and fresh. The scallion pancakes had plenty of scallions which I appreciated. Lots of customers were having breakfast and I noticed many people ordered congee, so it must be one of their best sellers. Our bellies were satisfied and we were out of there in under 30 minutes. Bill came out to be about $23 after taxes and before tip. This place is great for a group of friends or families to sit down and have a meal while visiting Chinatown.
