The best Chinese food I've had on Long Island and I had a lot best service love them shrimp rolls great everything is just great

First time there. Spent $62. The shrimp fried rice and mixed veggies were good. The teriyaki chicken was dry, stringy, tough and had no teriyaki sauce, not even a teaspoonful in the container. I ordered the pineapple coconut shrimp fried rice with chicken (extra). I wouldn't call it fried. It was more of a sticky rice. The flavor was decent, but there wasn't ONE shrimp in the rice! Not ONE! Plus, somehow, some very hard, crystalized rice got in it. I bit down on it and thought I chipped a tooth! We ordered the homemade chips. They were clearly reheated and left in the oil too long. They were a darker brown and very greasy. I was unable to find where to leave a review on their website. I realize last night was a busy night, but when it's your order that's screwed up, that's not enough. Won't go there again, especially after reading reviews on their own website. read more

Solid Chinese take out spot. This was my first time having food from here. The bourbon chicken and orange chicken, which not every place offers, were very good. A few pieces of "woody" chicken that is common from Chinese places (why?) but not too bad. The sauces on both dishes were excellent. Fried rice and beef lo mein were good too. They will give you those cheap baby fried noodles with your order but I highly recommend buying their big crispy fried noodles that come in a big bag. The lady fries them on the spot so good. Also ask for the duck sauce and the hot mustard in little containers. The hot mustard is the best I have had in a long time maybe ever. But beware of the burning sensation in your nose but so good! read more

Don't do it. We tried ordering by calling. It was a constant busy tone. So we ordered on their website at 6:40. It is now 8:15. I called at 8 to ask where the food was and I've been on hold for literally 15 minutes. Now I know why their line is always busy. Today was 16F. It's illegal in NY State to have an indoor bldg/business running at less than 68F. At 18F inside, the woman owner refused to put her heat on, saying "we don't have heat (bull) and actually made fun of me in her restaurant where I waited for 20 minutes for food, as she screamed at her two children who were also frozen, and working for her. I'm honestly so furious I'd consider calling the city. Anyone can get a space heater. STAY AWAY. read more

The food is typically good, sometimes we get a bad dish however.. lately it's been costing a lot for our repeat items. And more recently some of the portions shrunk. When restaurants both raise prices & shrink portions, they're going to lose customers. read more

Worst experience I've ever had with a Chinese place. When my order arrived, my vegetable and tofu was missing the tofu. I called to let them know I was missing my tofu from my dinner and was more then happy to work with them to resolve the issue. I was yelled at, told that I ordered it wrong and they wanted me to bring them the vegetables back. With COVID running ramped I was curious what they would be doing with food that had been in my house, and if they would send it to the next person or reuse it. So I ordered at 5:37pm on a Wednesday. By 6:40 I decided to call and check the status. I was rushed off the phone where she confirmed my address and said it's on the way it's on the way. So once it hit 7pm from a 5:37 order I was hangry and impatient. She then starts to ask what I ordered and says she thinks she lost my order/receipt. Hardly a sorry from them. Even more infuriating. I wouldn't be so upset if when I first called the check they actually investigated instead of rushing me off the phone. Good luck. Maybe you'll get your food- or maybe you won't. read more

We just ordered from here for the first time because of all the positive reviews. Sadly, the service was awful. We ordered sesame chicken among a few other things and they delivered shrimp with broccoli instead. Ok, no big deal. It was a mistake. So I called and asked them to please exchange it for the chicken. The woman on the phone argued with me saying that I ordered shrimp with broccoli. I know I didn't order that because no one in my family eats that. She refused to send us an order of sesame chicken. She said I would have to come curbside. I would think that for a business that would like to keep their customers happy, all they needed to do was just send out a sesame chicken which probably costs pennies for them. Their excuse was they said they only have one delivery person and they're very busy and, if we wanted the sesame chicken, we would have to pay for it and come curbside. She was very unreasonable and did not display any interest in keeping her customer happy. I told her I would be posting this. read more

I've been obsessed with trying different Chinese spots in the area. This is one of the best I've been to. I have a serious love affair with Chinese food. Dumplings, wontons, spare ribs, noodles, soups; I love it all. I've been struggling to find a place with good noodle dishes. Sometimes I crave chow fun. The thick noodles that clump together with seasoned beef and Chinese vegetables is just so delicious but so many places miss the mark. Overcooked noodles or super salty beef just ruin it. BUT King Garden hit the mark perfectly. Tons of meat, chewy noodles, and crispy vegetables. I was so happy with it. I ate the whole thing in 2 days. The wonton soup was spiced well, it was not too salty. And there were lots of wontons in the soup, they weren't stingy! They also sell Chinatown style noodle soup that is customizable with different noodles, meats, and dumplings that I'm super excited to try! Maybe this will be my new go-to! read more

As if I didn't do that??? Was then assured the food would be brought in 20-25 minutes. Fifty minutes later, and 2.5 hours after the initial order was placed, I still haven't eaten dinner. When I called, I was offered nothing but an argument and a credit of $5 for lo mein. I told them to keep the $5, keep the food and I will never order from Them again. I'll admit I've had better chicken wings. But their fried rice and boneless ribs are delicious. The ribs aren't fatty and you can order them well done so they're crisp. We order so often the lady knows us just by our order. We visit plenty of Chinese places religiously and this is the only place that acknowledges we're frequent flyers. Small group of adults needed a quick dinner recently, so we stopped in. First problem....no heat; when asked if they could turn up the heat, employee said they have "no heat," (only from cooking). Super tasty food, good pricing especially on the lunch specials, and provide basic customer service (meaning they're at times too busy for small talk). Called to inquire and the woman who answered the phone immediately started getting defensive and hung up when I asked to exchange it for actual fried rice. My husband took the rice back to the restaurant and the woman began yelling and pointing at him. They give you a shit ton of food for 6$ during lunch. I got the chicken with cashew nuts and white rice and wonton soup and crispy noodles. The chicken with cashew had mushrooms in it which is fucking gross but my bad for not telling them to leave them out. They also have zucchini, baby corn and carrots and onions which are vile too. The chicken is sliced chicken not chunks of weird shit like you find in most Chinese places. The soup is decent and im a full fat baby with a ton of left overs to bring to work later. Good times. I would give zero stars if i could. This is the second time i got food delivered from them. The first time they sent me the wrong items. Again they sent me the wrong order. I ordered sesame chicken with white rice. They sent me general tso with fried rice. I called them and said i would like the right meal delivered. She said shell send white rice and a side of sesame seeds i can put on top. I shouldnt have to wait AGAIN for them to deliver me a side of seeds to throw on my cold chicken. The woman literally refused to remake my food fresh and the correct way. Never would recommend them or go back. Foods not even that great. Be warned 5 star reviews must have dead pallets. This place is hit or miss on mediocrity. Chk Chow Fun was flavorless, Gen Tso: sauce was fine most of chicken was just over crispy balls. Hot and sour soup: tasted nothing like that of anything hot or sour. Fried rice was the best thing. Best Chinese food around. Fast delivery and the order is always accurate. Tried a few others but this one was the best by far. The wonton soup is amazing and so are the boneless spare ribs.
