I'm just happy that a place opened on the east side doesn't push the same flavorless, low quality Mexican food that everyone in El Paso claims put it on the map. That being said. King Crab has a lot of flavor and it's not cheap. Probably have a better chance of succeeding if they were on the west side or at Ft. Bliss but as long as they keep the food as good as my last visit, I'll be eating here until they close it down and replace it with another taco shop. read more

Do not waste your hard earned money here. Our waitress was the only good thing about this place. The texture of the blue crab, crawfish and shrimp was like mashed potatoes. We could only conclude it was a reheated leftover batch. We paid $70 for severe stomach cramps. Never again. read more

This was probably the worst seafood boil I've been to. Flavor wise it wasn't there. I've been to a lot of seafood boil in different states and this is at the bottom of it. The atmosphere could be better too. Doesn't feel welcoming. They are over priced. The rice was 5$ for a small bowl and it was the microwaved riced which was an awful texture. Never coming back here. read more

This place does a Louisiana girl proud. Legit boiled seafood with potatoes & corn on the cob. Gumbo is amazing and the bacon hush puppies are to die for! Seafood is flown in fresh daily. Looking forward to trying the alligator and oysters next and cannot wait until blue crab is in season. Only thing that's missing from the menu is bread pudding and Abita beer. read more

I have better crayfish at a Chinese buffet no flavor at all. I got the ghost pepper and it was not hot at all no flavor ! About half the crayfish were so small you could peel them , the corn that is extra cost is those frozen ears you get at Sams. My wife got the cod was not bad but the fries were COLD. And again the spice on the fries lacked flavor read more

Place was amazing I'm from Cali so there's plenty of seafood where I'm from I'm glad I found a spot here to cure my craving the place is cozy and had an amazing music selection playing in the background the bathroom could use some decor love if I'm being picky but overall it was amazing will definitely be back I see a few a little discouraged by the prices but their prices are the best I've seen for seafood. I recommend the trifecta sauce read more

Came here for lunch and had a great experience. Wasn't packed and tried the King's Crab Combo with a 1lb of crawfish and the gator nuggets. Everything was fresh and tasted great. Highly recommend this place especially for the gator. read more

Been here a few times, never disappointed. Last night there were a few mishaps. I didn't see the wait to be seated sign. The waiter approached me kind of gangster like and ask me what I wanted. There was a longer wait because my order was not placed right and then they added sausage to the power boil when I didn't want it. Food was decent. Shrimp was a little overcooked and was mushy. But overall service and food was good, a little pricey but that's seafood when your 1000 miles from the coast. The manager approached me as I was paying and asked if everything was ok. I explained what had happened and she offered me a dessert. This was an example of great customer service and management. For that 4 stars. read more

Absolutely delicious. Great food, great service. Even purchased a bottle of their yummy Trifecta sauce.

Not impressed. We had the all you can eat blue crab and ribs, fried catfish and shrimp. The all you can eat is 1 rib in the bucket, the crabs was not seasoned, the shrimp tasted like it came straight out the water no seasoning or taste. The fried catfish not sure how you mess this up, but guess what....it was soggy, I asked them to re-fry and it was just about the same. The best thing was the glass of water and fries. Save your money and go to the nearest ocean, lake or pond and grab a hand full of whatever seafood you can and eat it, because that's about how the seafood is at King Crab. read more

What a great place to eat! They have live lobsters, king crab legs, and fresh shrimp and seafood, they have a board that shows you the market price and where they get it from. I really enjoyed the gumbo and I had the tri-fecta shrimp, lobster, King crab leg boil. George is a great server, and the staff is highly recommended. read more

King Crab - Cajun/Creole Near Me - El Paso, Texas

Got the Crab Po Boy and it was like TWO pieces of IMITATION CRAB MEAT on the sandwich. It didn't taste good. The sandwich was $16...at that price you would believe you were getting actual crab. On a positive note...the trifecta sauce pairs really good with their soft shell crab. read more

This place was over priced. They don't even tell you the price of your boil. Just crazy. And I got this small amount of food. Not worth the money. It's not even enough food to feed one person. read more

I've eaten here numerous times either with a small group of friends to a large group of friends or just simply by myself to enjoy a nice decently priced shrimp boil. The Gumbo is superb with a wonderful tasting roux. The Power Boil with the Trifecta sauce is my favorite and is what I always order as my main entree. But my favorite part of this establishment is the sincerity and humble approach the actual owner has with her customers. She genuinely goes from table to table asking her customers how they're doing and really listens to any improvements she needs to make on the menu or what the customers enjoy. I've eaten at Crab Station over in the west side and I prefer these Mom and Pop types of establishments vs a chain restaurant because it feels like home whenever I walk in. I drive all the way from the west side just to eat here on this side of town for King Crab. If you want my honest opinion, if you're looking for a good decently priced shrimp boil with great sincere and genuine customer service, come here to King Crab. You won't be disappointed. read more

I ordered from UberEats. The delivery was great. There was a mix up with the payment and the restaurant was not helpful. The owner actually cussed at me then hung up the phone. The food was not fresh and their secret ingredient was salt. I would have been better off going to Long John Silvers...at least the owner won't cuss at me. read more

I'd been here twice before and the service was always okay but the food was what brought me back! Today was my third time coming and it was the worst experience... The food was not very good (shrimp was rubbery/chewy), and there was hardly any flavor in anything except for the fries and those weren't even good to be honest. This place is much too expensive for mediocre/poor service and food. read more

Pretty excited to find a place like this in El Paso. Going in with a group of friends who are from Louisiana, they definitely enjoyed the atmosphere. They actually boil the seafood , as you order, so it's fresh. The jazz music gave it the New Orleans feel, loved it! And they even have purple haze and other Louisiana beers available, something you can't find in any restaurant in El Paso. Food was great, seafood is never inexpensive so expected the prices to be fair. Lobsters and shrimp were huge. I totally recommend this spot to anyone that needs a Louisiana fix or a Cajun feel. Service was great, waitress constantly checked on us. My favorite spot now! read more

King crab was pretty awesome! Went in last night ( Saturday night ) around 7 and the place wasn't too busy. We were quickly greeted and seated by friendly staff. Our servers name was a cute girl named Sam who was nice and helpful with the menu. There was another server I believed name Scott who kept checking up on us and giving us recommendations and teaching us desert rats about seafood. The food was pretty good. No complaints here! Nice to have a seafood joint here in El Paso! read more

Love the idea of this so much! El paso needed a great seafood joint. Sadly this one is not it. Our boils were lukewarm when they arrived at our table. Ordered my daughters boil plain cause she doesn't like spicy things and her food was still really spicy. Our iced tea looked like yellow water. The shrimp had an awful mushy texture. Close to $100 bucks for two adults and one toddler. Now I'm just glad none of is got sick. read more

I have never been around seafood that smelled so bad. I was with a big group, we all ordered the blue crab (among other things) and it smelled strongly like ammonia - so much so that we couldn't eat it. To the manager's credit, they discounted our bill. But, consider these other parts of our experience: * The waitress confused our order numerous times. None of us got the sides we ordered, they were confused about who ordered what, and after multiple reminders from us and promises from the staff, we still never got some of the side orders they charged us for. * We ordered a meal called a seafood basket. There's no basket, it didn't come with the side of coleslaw advertised on the menu (the waitress says they serve something different from what the menu says), the fries were soggy and the fried fish it came with was so soggy we couldn't eat it anyway. * The portions of the seafood that came through the "boil" were not the sizes that people ordered (much smaller), often with no real meat (just shells) or smaller portions. * The ordering process took a LONG time. * When we finally went to leave, they handed us a pen to sign our checks that had exploded (getting ink our hands) just to top off our confused, dysfunctional experience! To their credit, the shrimp was good and they had a variety of sauces that were really nice. Overall though, it was the weirdest dining experience of my life. I only hope we don't get sick from what we ate of that stinky fish (crab)!!! read more

Disappointed. We were really looking forward trying this place out. We ordered a little bit over everything... crab, shrimp, baked oysters. It was disgusting. The oysters were burnt, crab was cold and fishy, shrimp were soft and slimy. This food cost way too much for what it is. read more

Only giving this place a 1 star just because the workers/servers were nice, but the food just didn't cut it for us. My husband and I were excited to try this place because we have tons of restaurants back home that do seafood boils and we love it! But king crab was a fail for us for two major reasons...1st off the seafood boils are waaaay over priced for the quantity and quality they offer: (def not worth the money) 2nd we ordered the fried catfish and they served it to us raw! The catfish came with a side of Cajun fries that just tasted like frozen fries you can by at Walmart (nothing Cajun about them) and your choice of coleslaw or potato salad, we ordered the coleslaw and it tasted mediocre as well. Unfortunately there's nothing special about this restaurant, it has lots of potential but the food was really a disappointment.. We are definitely not coming back read more

Ummm what can I say the food it's okay... Our boil lacked flavor and it was not spicy what so ever. I can swear we got ripped off because for the price the quality and quantity was lacking big time. I would suggest you don't waste your time and money here. Head down to Pier 86 on Yarbrough if you want some real authentic boils. I gave King Crab a chance because they are closer to my house but it was not worth it! read more

Amazing food, very awesome service anyone in El Paseo needs to come here and have a great seafood experience

Quality of the boils are well worth the fair market prices, love the family atmosphere and the friendly, helpful staff, a must visit each time I'm in the 915 read more

I would like to start off by saying that the staff was great. This place seems to be a spin off of Hot N' Juicy Crawfish, one of my favorite seafood spots. I ordered a side of gumbo and it was pretty good. The sauce for my snow crab legs was really watered down and there was not a lot a meat in the crabs, however, if you are a seafood lover, it's worth a try. Lastly, I was not happy with paying $28 for a pound of small crabs. read more

There's barely any sauce the two times I went . The king crab legs are really small for king crab. Plus the crab meat tastes over cooked . The live lobster is amazing though! They are really stingy with the sausages and gives super thin slices . I reccomend y'all try other seafood boils from locals . read more

So we walk in and there was one booth with a family apparently eating. There was a sign in the front to "wait to be seated". Waited for 10 minutes and no one would come out from the back kitchen....the bar was empty we could have had a free drink...I would not recommend this place...bad bad service. read more

I'm not a big fan of seafood but the wife is, so we decided to try this place out and we were definitely impressed. The staff was friendly and the food was really good. I definitely suggest the lobster to anyone who really loves sea food. read more

Had the lobster, king crab, and crawfish boil with trifecta sauce and it was perfect. Would defiantly come here again.

The place it's no clean,no too much personal to attend take too much time to take orden and entrees, bad services .

This place is amazing! A little slice of a southern crawfish boil in El Paso. The best? Seafood is fresh and service is great. The waitress took her time to explain the menu and everything tasted as fresh as possible in our little dusty corner of Texas. Definitely recommend you go, but be prepared to get a little dirty. read more

Absolutely worst seafood I have ever eaten. Took forever and what we got was not fresh. My friend ended up with metal in his seafood. It was horible and not fresh. read more

An average seafood restaurant (if you can even call it that). The service was fine everything was subpar at best, but what made me rate this a one star was the "Fried Catfish". This abomination of a fried catfish is what inspired me to make an account; I.E the lack of photographs. That's a blessing and a curse due to the fact that I wouldn't want anybody to see the monstrosity on this plate. I looked down and saw a perfectly cut rectangular brick of "catfish" as I cut into it with a butter knife the whole brick crumbled into what could only be described as gooey mush, thinking some hot sauce could redeem this meal I dropped a little on my bite and nope spicy mush. The catfish was just a plastic rectangle of soft mush DISGUSTING. Thinking I could escape this seafood nightmare I ordered a side of "Spicy Buffalo Wings" and upon its arrival I think "wow something delicious looking" untill you bite into it. What could only be described as biting into a plump cartilage full of oil the wing overwhelmed my mouth with grease. Adding onto that I was given all flats, flats might I add whose bones would break in half and collapse into a bloody cartilage filled bite. YUM!! 0/10 would not recommend to my worst enemy. read more

Ate here for lunch. Food was wildly mediocre and for this reason way over priced. We had gator bites for an appetizer which were pretty good, but were 10$! And all of the breading was soggy, almost under cooked. One of our party members had a question about how to eat a specific part of the crab and she did not know instead of asking the chef or manager she just gave up. After our meal it took an additional 15-20 minutes to split the tabs at the end of the meal. I don't think I'd ever eat here again, but if you're looking for a joes-crab-shack alike restaurant that's a little depressing inside than this is the place. I'm sure some of the food is great maybe it was just an off day. read more

10 min wait, waitress didn't explain menu prices. Fries sucked unless you like hard friea. Paid $14 for snow crab that was barely touched when brought to managers attention took him half an hour to first offer a 10% discount than to finally come back to say I must pay full price after speaking to owner. read more

Horrible service. If I could rate it 0 I would. The service was EXTRA slow . The did not know how to print the receipts and they made ALL us over pay. I would NOT recommend. read more

horrible service. I'd at least rate the food had I been able to get past the rude hostess and get a table to try it out. here's a hint genius restaurant owner, when the tables are rsvp'd and empty for 45mins people arent spending money.. yet you'll let people wait at the door till then.. oh yea, this business will last. good luck. read more
