Just coming back to share some love again. This place has to be our favorite eatery when we come to…read moreEl Paso. They always have a good crowd but if there's a wait there's enough things to do in the vicinity during your wait time. We came during Valentine's Day and got seated within 15-20 minutes and they got a singer to come perform for the evening which was a plus for the ambiance . Food is always so good!!!

A lot of shrimp, diced cucumbers, onions, tomatoes, and cilantro in a secret red sauce. It's lite and her consistent go to here. This visit I went with shrimp Oaxaca... which is a bacon wrapped shrimp stuffed with marlin over black mole sauce. It was generously portioned, and the mole sauce was really good. The kids stuck with safe carne asada tacos. For drinks I tried their grapefruit margarita, which was tasty. I also had a Golden Hour, which is a scotch, lime honey, ginger, and passion fruit juice. It was good, but a bit sweet for my taste. Liz enjoyed her jamaica (hibiscus) margarita. We've eaten inside, and outside, and it really ain't too special on the inside, and the outside is probably most bearable after sunset. Close parking is tricky... there are maybe four spots in front, some street parking on the side, but if you don't mind a short walk you can find something somewhere in Cimarron Market. This time around Mario M. did a great job of serving us. Anything we needed, we got. He was courteous and got our order out quickly. Recommended.

The ambiance is elegant and comfortable without feeling formal, making it perfect for a business lunch, a date night, or a relaxed dinner where the food actually matters. Service is attentive and professional without hovering. You can tell the staff is well trained and takes pride in the experience they're providing. The portions are generous, the presentation is thoughtful, and the flavors are exceptional. The sauces are truly the standout. Rich, balanced, and clearly made with care. The Caesar salad is excellent and often overlooked, but it deserves credit. Dessert is not an afterthought here and is absolutely worth ordering. Yes, it's a bit on the pricier side, but it's worth it. You leave feeling like the quality, service, and overall experience matched what you paid. I'm genuinely glad they reopened. El Paso is better with Mi Piaci back.

After doing some research, I stumbled upon Mi Piaci online and saw how many people praised it. Let me just say, IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!!!! The menu was exclusive, due to the holiday, but the restaurant communicated that effectively via email and even calling me personally to warn me. We came out STUFFED!!! Portions were generous, the service was exemplary. We were treated like royalty! My girlfriend loved the food and the Valentine's Day decorations. It was an intimate spot and whenever I am back in town, I would definitely return here! Thank you to all the Mi Piaci staff for making our day so special and for the great attention you gave us.
