Not a bad spot for Chinese buffet! They've got a lot of variety, even for vegetarians. They have all the usual soups, chicken options, and even fried fish and fries if you're a picky eater. The selling point to me and my friend is hibachi. You pick the rice and all the toppings and put it on a plate, then you hand them the plate and tell them which sauce you want them to cook it with. I did the teriyaki sauce with mushrooms, jalapeños, and shrimp. Very filling and flavorful! Most of the other options from the buffet are hit or miss. I didn't like most anything, except the fried frog legs and the black pepper chicken. Even the fried rice in the buffet section is bland. You can get fried shrimp as well as shrimp with the head on. Those were good! On a Thursday evening, there were a decent amount of people! Lots of families coming in to eat. Tons of tables to accommodate too. It never got packed. The place is clean and they come around often to take away empty plates. Service is good. They're just there to do the job but they were nice. For the price, it's pretty good. $15 for each of us. I'm sure it's an inflation price but that's not a bad deal if you're eating at least 2 plates. Parking shares with other businesses so there's plenty of spots!

First time being there. They make you pay before you eat. That's weird. Their hibachi was really good. Used to be buckhead s. They have a decent selection of sushi. They have more than enough items to choose from. Some of the biggest chicken wings I've ever seen. Very clean in there. Krispy Kreme is next door and planet fitness is to the left of you want to work out before or after you indulge. Military discount given.

We have been excited to try the new Chinese food buffet in Gardiner Lane shopping center. Plenty of parking in the lot and the restaurant had flags and other banners celebrating the opening. A bit confusing when we first arrived, but we made it to the front and received a number for a place in line. The place was packed and we arrived at 5:45 PM. The seaters called numbers out of order based on the size of the table, which was frustrating. They called numbers that were 20 ahead of us just because a larger table was ready. Process could definitely be better. Also, they just yelled out numbers and it was hard to hear. When our number was finally called we had to pre pay for the meal and a 10% gratuity was added. You also had to order your drink at that time. There are two main buffet lines and a sushi and hibachi area. The first buffet area had the Chinese staples and hot items. The second was mostly a salad bar and seafood items. The sushi area was mostly out and rolls were labeled. Overall the food was okay. I had high expectations since it was so crowded thought it would be hot and fresh, which it was but the quality just wasn't the best. My daughter loved the ice cream area, but only one scoop and you had to reach your hand down in the containers. Also, sometimes our plates were cleared but not all the time. Plus I had to ask for more water since they weren't coming around. We'll try again in a few months when hopefully they'll ironed out some of the kinks.

I'm not really a buffet person at least not now that my metabolism has dropped like a lead weight. But King Buffet has really good Chinese dishes and to be honest, I'd probably come back just for the chicken wings. It was very clean and very quiet when we we there. Not quiet as in no one was there, there was actually a decent number of people eating, but I expect a certain kind of abrasive cacophony of sound at a buffet - not so here, it was surprisingly and pleasantly serene. Staff kept the buffet line well stocked the entire time, and considering that we were there later in the evening, I think it speaks to the degree to which they value every customer's experience.

I read several reviews before visiting this restaurant. There are some negative reviews for sticky tables. First of all, the table I sat at was in good condition. I visited with five friends, and I will share their honest opinions. In this restaurant, you pay first, then sit down and eat. From now on, you have to do the math. The drink price ($2.99) is slightly more expensive than the Jumbo Buffet ($2.29). The further problem is that 10% Gratuities are automatically added to the Bill. After paying by credit card, another tip screen appears on the screen. I felt guilty if I didn't pay for an extra tip. Finally, you will pay more than you expected if you don't do the math. Our friends wanted to sit down and pay the server a reasonable tip for the service we received after our meal. Three of us don't want to go back for this reason. One liked that this restaurant had ice cream. At Yoki Buffet, the area near the ice cream scoop is dirty. The water in which it is contained is also messy. This King Buffet was clean, and I hope they keep it consistently clean. Since this restaurant is newly opened, the food is varied and fresh. Other reviews have raised issues about adding and receiving tips in advance. Even if this is fixed, more customers will come.

Yes, I know it's a chain but this particular one had so many choices for such an awesome price. We decided to get our main meal in for lunch aka pig out then have a light meal for supper. We both started out with such fresh sushi, tuna, salmon and shrimp. Pineapple and lightly pickled cucumbers with tomatoes. Then I had a couple of fried butterflied shrimp, seaweed salad in a tofu skin, smaller cooked shrimp, more of the sushi tuna, and finally pineapple to finish it off. Fabulous meal that was fast and for me, relatively fresh. Hubs veered off from me but that's the joy of this extensive buffet. I took photos when the crowd finally left but there were so many people who were eating so no fears of getting any food related diseases as turnovers of food was brisk and they kept restocking. Perfect place for a quick bite especially at lunchtime!

Next there was tasty smoked sausage which was surrounded by a large variety of grilled vegetables. I don't eat veggies but I could tell those who do would be happy as well. Then I had some tasty taco beef and I topped it with some cool bean sauce and cheese and sour cream. I also had a nice piece of steak very flavorful. The iced tea was nice and strong. I also had a glass of orange and even it was better than normal it was strong on syrup with a good bite. Next the deserts. At first I was disappointed because they looked like they came from Walmart. However, when I tasted them I was blown away again. The lemon cake was moist and tasted like the delicious lemon archway cookies from my childhood. Next I tried a pumpkin cream log. The spices were perfect and the filling had an excellent balance of tangy cream cheese and sweet. The lunch buffet was $15 drink included. Not only was it the most real and flavorful meal I've had in years but the couple running the place are super friendly and keep the buffet very well maintained. The place was completely clean including the restrooms. The only thing I was missing was some bread or mashed potatoes, but I think they have those sometimes just not the day I went.

When it's said "they don't make them like this anymore", this place is what they mean. Ornate, elaborate and straight out of another era. I didn't stay at the Brown, so don't know what the rooms are like but if the lobby is an indication, I think it would be pretty cool. Stopped into J. Graham's on a Weds afternoon at 12:30. It was about half full. Service is quick and friendly. From looking around the room, it seemed that most people ordered the Hot Brown even though there is an extensive menu of other options. The Hot Brown is an open-faced turkey sandwich. A thick slice of turkey is served over thick-sliced bread. The turkey is covered with mornay (béchamel with Gruyère cheese), topped with bacon, sprinkled with parmasean and broiled in a gratin-dish, served with a roasted tomato. It's gooey and cheesy, turkey moist and tender, bacon crisp. Very hearty, very filling. Unique, definitely worth trying. Not sure I'm having another one, but glad I experienced it.

My wife loved the new frog legs, although a tad on the salty side. Hot & sour soup is still some of the best you'll find. I appreciated the wontons in a separate steamer so you can add it to your soup. Overall, the buffet was fresh. Tasty. And a nice variety. But they really need to fix the steam tables. Unfortunately, there was no option to request utensils and they didn't include any, so this whole meal was a bust. I'm not taking that out on the review here, just making a note so hopefully they take note to include that option. The hotel I was in didn't have any, and most places around were closing so I was out of luck. I ended up having to fashion some sort of scoop out of the styrofoam container that the rice came in. Did it work? No. But was it at least serviceable? Also no. It was a freaking mess and I basically ended up pitching it. But from what I could taste in between dripping bites all over my hotel room was pretty good! I went with the basics and got a chicken tikka masala. It was not quite the medium spice level, so I'd round up if you like spicey. The chicken was great quality; very tender and flavorful, definitely the highlight. The vegetable samosas were nice and easy to eat so I had two of these which are always good. Same feedback as above, needs a little more spice and flavor in the filling but solid. So all in all, in the unique situation of arriving late and getting hung out to dry on utensils, not great. But the food and prices and everything else were fair to good, so I kind of land in the middle with this one.
