My first experience here was good. I had boycotted buffets for years because I'm not a fan of the lack of "cleanliness" associated with all buffets; too many dirty hands and mixing old and new food together. My last experience was over a year ago when a young child, who had the perfect height to look straight at the warming dishes, sneezed directly onto the food. The child rubbed its nose and face and continued getting food with a family member. I got out of there quickly and never went back.

My first visit and I was quite impressed. A colleague and I ate a late lunch here, around 1:00 pm. Employees were extremely friendly. The selection of food was incredible. There were so many options that I barely made my way around. My first stop was to fill a bowl with fresh vegetables and noodles which I handed to an employee to cook on the grill. It was delicious but filled me up and so I wasn't able to sample any of the other options except for a couple of small flakey pastries. The dining room and buffet were sparkling clean, and the employees were very friendly and helpful. Definitely will try this place again when I am in the area.

The reviews are so hot and miss but thought I'd give it a try. All you can eat with dessert & a drink for under $20 is a good deal. I usually cringe at the Chinese buffets but this one had hot food that looked & tasted fresh. I actually commented that a couple of dishes were almost gone & they brought out more. The egg rolls, pork buns & teriyaki chicken were my favs but the hibachi was good too. None of the sushi was labeled so it was all a guess as to what you were eating. They did have peel & eat shrimp but I never saw crab or steak. I'd eat here again as it was pretty good for the price.

This is the best buffet in the city! The food here always hits, and the variety is unbelievable! The service is amazing, they have their own cold bar for hibachi where you can pick your own toppings, or what you'd like. You bring it over, and they prepare your plate for you on the spot! You can also take the cold bar food and add a broth and make a soup like pho! Don't even get me started on the wings, I didn't get to take a photo of those. I ate them before too fast lol. The environment is family friendly, very enjoyable and nice! I would definitely recommend going here when you're hungry, with your family, after a game before a game, an event. ANY TIME! Just go, it's an amazing buffet! Please eat everything on your plate too, don't waste food! Hope you all enjoy!

It has a great selection. And really good for a buffet dinner. There is the option of the hibachi made to preference grill.

Attentive buffet servers. Food was hot. Good selection of typical buffet items. Fairly priced. Was an easy in-and-out lunch.

We showed up and they had one meat option out which was what looked like left over fajitas, and like 2 side items. We had to prepay full price and we thought maybe they are still putting items out or in the middle of refreshing. We was wrong they never added more food to bar or brought out more variety. The only thing they had a large variety of and wasn't almost out was prepackaged little Debbie snack cakes. Also place was not the cleanest.

I started with a huge center cut pork chop. It had a great grilled flavor and a very interesting tomato based sauce. Next there was tasty smoked sausage which was surrounded by a large variety of grilled vegetables. I don't eat veggies but I could tell those who do would be happy as well. Then I had some tasty taco beef and I topped it with some cool bean sauce and cheese and sour cream. I also had a nice piece of steak very flavorful. The iced tea was nice and strong. I also had a glass of orange and even it was better than normal it was strong on syrup with a good bite. Next the deserts. At first I was disappointed because they looked like they came from Walmart. However, when I tasted them I was blown away again. The lemon cake was moist and tasted like the delicious lemon archway cookies from my childhood. Next I tried a pumpkin cream log. The spices were perfect and the filling had an excellent balance of tangy cream cheese and sweet. The lunch buffet was $15 drink included. Not only was it the most real and flavorful meal I've had in years but the couple running the place are super friendly and keep the buffet very well maintained. The place was completely clean including the restrooms. The only thing I was missing was some bread or mashed potatoes, but I think they have those sometimes just not the day I went.

When it's said "they don't make them like this anymore", this place is what they mean. Ornate, elaborate and straight out of another era. I didn't stay at the Brown, so don't know what the rooms are like but if the lobby is an indication, I think it would be pretty cool. Stopped into J. Graham's on a Weds afternoon at 12:30. It was about half full. Service is quick and friendly. From looking around the room, it seemed that most people ordered the Hot Brown even though there is an extensive menu of other options. The Hot Brown is an open-faced turkey sandwich. A thick slice of turkey is served over thick-sliced bread. The turkey is covered with mornay (béchamel with Gruyère cheese), topped with bacon, sprinkled with parmasean and broiled in a gratin-dish, served with a roasted tomato. It's gooey and cheesy, turkey moist and tender, bacon crisp. Very hearty, very filling. Unique, definitely worth trying. Not sure I'm having another one, but glad I experienced it.

There were a couple people there already, but I was so impressed how everything was like brand new and inviting. Elaine and Daniela were so cheerful and accomadating. The food was SO good and the service was impeccable. I'm so glad my brother likes GB as much as I do. We visited just a couple weeks ago and agree GB is the best Chinese restaurant in Southern Indiana. I look forward to visiting again soon. My highlights on this visit were the salmon which is very tasty, crab Rangoon, spring rolls, stuffed mushrooms and chicken on a stick to name a few. Lastly, it wasn't long after my brother and I started at 1130 that MANY working people showed up and made for a good crowd. It wasn't too loud and the restaurant is noticeably CLEAN. They've added some new items, like spare ribs, stuffed clams, & crawfish. No longer did they serve fried chicken wings, instead offering "buffalo" wings soaking in some sauce. I skipped them. My wife loved the new frog legs, although a tad on the salty side. Hot & sour soup is still some of the best you'll find. I appreciated the wontons in a separate steamer so you can add it to your soup. Overall, the buffet was fresh. Tasty. And a nice variety. But they really need to fix the steam tables. Not one dish was actually hot unless it just came from the kitchen. Now, an observation. Initially, we were going to opt for home delivery. Good heavens. Our $35 order came to almost $60 with all the GH add ons. At Golden Blossom our 2 buffets came to just under $35 with tip (and a senior discount). EZ call.

Unfortunately, there was no option to request utensils and they didn't include any, so this whole meal was a bust. I'm not taking that out on the review here, just making a note so hopefully they take note to include that option. The hotel I was in didn't have any, and most places around were closing so I was out of luck. I ended up having to fashion some sort of scoop out of the styrofoam container that the rice came in. Did it work? No. But was it at least serviceable? Also no. It was a freaking mess and I basically ended up pitching it. But from what I could taste in between dripping bites all over my hotel room was pretty good! I went with the basics and got a chicken tikka masala. It was not quite the medium spice level, so I'd round up if you like spicey. The chicken was great quality; very tender and flavorful, definitely the highlight. The vegetable samosas were nice and easy to eat so I had two of these which are always good. Same feedback as above, needs a little more spice and flavor in the filling but solid. So all in all, in the unique situation of arriving late and getting hung out to dry on utensils, not great. But the food and prices and everything else were fair to good, so I kind of land in the middle with this one.
