11/12/25 We went with a group of 16 to Yoki Buffet at 1700 Alliant Ave. They offer an all-you-can-eat buffet & dessert for $14.99. They offer a variety of dishes, including chicken, beef, pork, seafood, grilled options, soups, salads, a rather large selections of sushi and a range of desserts. Drinks are priced separately. Since it was a buffet we served our own food and desserts. The servers were Eva and Yamilet and they brought our drinks and removed the dishes that we were finish with. The owners Tom and Fiona and they arranged for us to have the large party room in the back. The appetizers were what we liked the most. It's a huge buffet so much to choose from. My favorite is hibachi where you pick the food and they cook it. My wife and granddaughter loves it from the crab ragoon to the choices for dessert. It's a to so much to eat. This is not a Military friendly restaurant. read more

Tons of options in all different cuisines however due to this nothing really stand out. Also compared to other places in the area it is a little expensive for the service and quality food you get. So I've been here many times, and I have to be honest. This is probably one of the best chinese buffets I've been in Kentucky. Honestly, the food here is amazing. There's many choices to try and there's an hibachi where you can order food. The service is probably better the regular fast food. They are quick if they are busy and they are so nice and respectful. The atmosphere and ambiance is so calm and relaxing. We have eaten here several times. It is your slightly above average Chinese buffet. They also have a sushi selection and a Mongolian grill included. Prices are 15.99 Friday night thru Sunday. The service was good and it seemed clean. The food quality was good, but not something you will be blown away by either. I found the entree selection a bit limited. My first experience here was good. I had boycotted buffets for years because I'm not a fan of the lack of "cleanliness" associated with all buffets; too many dirty hands and mixing old and new food together. My last experience was over a year ago when a young child, who had the perfect height to look straight at the warming dishes, sneezed directly onto the food. My first visit and I was quite impressed. A colleague and I ate a late lunch here, around 1:00 pm. Employees were extremely friendly. The selection of food was incredible. There were so many options that I barely made my way around. My first stop was to fill a bowl with fresh vegetables and noodles which I handed to an employee to cook on the grill. It was delicious but filled me up and so I wasn't able to sample any of the other options except for a couple of small flakey pastries. I rarely leave bad reviews, but this one deserves it. The restaurant wasn't busy -- maybe three tables total -- yet our table of three was visited once in over an hour. That one visit? Just to drop off water, with an attitude like we'd asked for the moon. When our table filled with plates and our server was nowhere in sight, we neatly stacked them on an empty table behind us. Another server immediately came over and scolded us for putting them there, muttering under her breath about how it was "her section" and she "just cleaned it." I politely explained we hadn't seen our waitress and needed space, but instead of de-escalating, she doubled down. The whole table just sat there stunned -- it was so unnecessarily rude. At that point, we'd interacted with four people, and half were rude. Still hadn't seen our server, and honestly, we were ready to leave. When I walked up front to find someone, our waitress suddenly appeared, rushing over with our check. Then came the most uncomfortable part: she stood 10 inches away, shoulder-to-shoulder, watching me fill out the tip line like she was guarding the paper. I've never had someone make me feel that awkward while paying. As for the food? Let's just say it matched the service. I actually just looked at Google reviews while writing this, and another customer who was in the restaurant at the same time left a bad review 12 minutes ago. That says everything. We came early on a Sunday afternoon and were seated right away. The inside is nicer than the outside. Our waiter was very nice and attentive. The sushi area could obviously be bigger and better, but you can't expect sashimi grade things at a buffet. It was definitely adequate. The hot bar was so good. There was a variety of different chickens that were all very good. Even the pizza for kids was good. There was a wide selection of desserts and oh man, the ice cream was Coldstone quality. The reviews are so hot and miss but thought I'd give it a try. All you can eat with dessert & a drink for under $20 is a good deal. I usually cringe at the Chinese buffets but this one had hot food that looked & tasted fresh. I actually commented that a couple of dishes were almost gone & they brought out more. The egg rolls, pork buns & teriyaki chicken were my favs but the hibachi was good too. None of the sushi was labeled so it was all a guess as to what you were eating. I used to love this place because of their seafood options and sushi. However the last three times my stomach was upset and I just put that off as too much sodium, well until yesterday. I went there with my husband yesterday at 4 by 6pm I was deathly ill. I've had food poisoning before so I immediately knew that I had it again. I slept on my bathroom floor from 6pm-6am last night because EVERYTHING was happening at once every 20 minutes. I'm just now getting up and ran straight to leaving a review to warn others. The only thing I had that my husband didn't was the sushi so pretty sure that's where I got it. I regret ignoring the other 2 times my stomach was upset after eating here. I will never return. This is the best buffet in the city! The food here always hits, and the variety is unbelievable! The service is amazing, they have their own cold bar for hibachi where you can pick your own toppings, or what you'd like. You bring it over, and they prepare your plate for you on the spot! You can also take the cold bar food and add a broth and make a soup like pho! Don't even get me started on the wings, I didn't get to take a photo of those. I ate them before too fast lol. The environment is family friendly, very enjoyable and nice! I would definitely recommend going here when you're hungry, with your family, after a game before a game, an event. ANY TIME! Clean organized with plenty variety and good quality items compared to other Asian buffets. Sundays it can get hectic, and staff tries to keep things neat. Other days are more normal and could be more enjoyable but Sundays they have a few seafood items that make it more special with a slight price increase to $17pp. They had a petite filet that were absolutely steakhouse quality Plenty parking and great location. We like Yoki's but a couple things is that we go there for dinner sometimes around 4:30-5:30 peak time I think and lots of times they are out of stuff one is the wontons in the soup every time they are out once he brings two and put in the pot and I'm like really bro ? We always like to come to Yoki Buffet once a month or so. The kids love it here because of the selections of California Rolls ("sushi") and huge choice and deserts. The food is fresh, good and a large variety. For the price, quality it's a great bargain when most businesses stopped Buffets. read more

Inevitably when I visit Louisville over the holidays, it's difficult to figure out where we should go that will satisfy everyone's cravings or dietary requirements. Yoki certainly helped! It's a massive buffet with selections for the more, shall we say health-conscious, to those who are looking to imbibe in fried, sauced, and sweetened edibles. It was very crowded when we went for dinner with many other families and kids filling the booths and tables, which gave the atmosphere something of a rushed ambience. Maybe that's typical for buffets, particularly one with a select your own adventure Mongolian-style grill. The service was steady and good. I was visiting family out of town. Used Yelp to help me decide where to go with a toddler in the group. We all have different palates, but it seemed to fit the bill. I love sushi. I was disappointed in the fishy odd taste in every single piece I tried. Other offerings were average. The best thing was the grilled chicken teriyaki on a stick. Many items were mislabeled...and my nonseafood eating hubby ended up with fried scallops which were labeled fried mozzarella. This could be really bad for someone who has an allergy. Went for a return visit and was disappointed for a couple reasons. Got there at 4:30 PM. Food containers appeared to be lunch leftovers. Last of several entrees in steam pans. But,the food was warm at best. Hot and sour soup was cold. Springrolls, egg rolls were cold. Sushi was really good. Where seated, the ceiling air vent was dripping water. When we checked out, we complimented on our prior visit, but a bit disappointed in food. His response was dismissive on both concerns and suggested we turn around and look at the steam and therefore nothing could be cold.
