It's on the pricier side but if you come hungry, I'd say it's well worth it for the amount you can eat and the quality. You begin with the AYCE salad bar, which has a wide range of olives, cheeses, salad toppings, smoked salmon, and even a delightful cold apple salad and potato salad. When we were seated, hot dishes came quickly. I loved all the sides - fried polenta, fried banana, mashed potatoes and cheese bread. You could request a few additional side items complimentary. I tried the fried yucca and was glad I did. Now, the MEAT! Once you turn your card to green, be ready! There was a constant flow of Gaucho chefs with the different varieties of meat. They were very attentive asking preference on cuts. When I was getting full, I wanted just one last piece of picanha. Not one, not two, but three Gaucho chefs stopped by within approximately one minute asking if there was a particular cut I would like while the first chef had gone back to the kitchen. Salad area - very clean, well stocked with plenty of choices- lettice, mixed greens, veggies, cheese and dressings. Caesar dressing is my favorite- pepper in flavor and not too much anchovy paste- which is great. Freah mozzarella balls were delicious- cold, pull apart and full of great textured bites. Steaks were under seasoned and required salt to enhance the flavors. Favorite was bacon wrapped filet- most was overcooked but on ocxasion I got to snag a medium cooked bite. Chicken- my favorite, asked a few times - took an hour to get chicken breast- which was moist and had hints of garlic and parmesan. Only was able to get 2 pieces- which was a disappointment. First, let's get to the heart of what you want in a restaurant. The food was spectacular. Meats cooks to order and delivered to your table promptly and to your liking. Second is service. This restaurant is everything you'd want in a Brazilian steakhouse. Let's face it. There are a lot of places to go where you can get a $60 steak. Going to a Brazilian Churrasco is as much about the experience as it is about the food. Fortunately, this restaurant delivers on all aspects and is everything you'd hope and expect. The manager coming by the table to make sure that everything was to my liking was the icing on the cake. Definitely recommend you try this place the next time you're in Louisville. read more

My friends and I dined here and got the full Churrasco Experience(tm)! As always I aim for the filet mignon, picahnia and the garlic variations. They were so, so delicious. I'm also a sucker for their carbs - pao de queijo are a favorite of mine (I make them from scratch at home) and the yucca fries were not dense like other yucca fries I've had before. We all got seconds of our favorite appetizers and I went ahead with the dessert and drink - they do not disappoint! The service was incredibly friendly and answered all of our questions about pronunciation, followed up on our requests for particular meat and kept checking in on us. 1. I was on a trip south and decided to stop at Louisville for a night. Then we went out to grab a quick lunch. I was wearing jeans and a worn white crew T shirt and the hostess (maybe it was my impression) wanted to sit us on the literally very furthest corner of the restaurant, almost hidden on a half empty place. I had to ask to be sit on a better table with street view, where all well dress people were sit. 2. They offered us a 39.99 price per person. We were two of us. Then for curiosity I walk through the salad bar and took a small bowl of plain vegetables, and they charged us 20 more per person, even I was the only one who had one bowl of veggies. At the end the bill was 170 for a small lunch for two people. 3. The meat was ok, for me tasted basically the same, not anything special. Love brazilian steakhouses. We have been to Fogo de Chao & Texas de Brazil and this was very similar, but a more local chain. It was a really positive experience. After a long weekend of soccer, we visited Brazeiros to refuel and celebrate a successful tryout. There's free street parking on Sundays, so we parked down the block. We arrived around 4pm, and the restaurant was fairly empty. There's a nice wine & spirits bar just inside the entrance. The decor is modern and masculine with wood accents, a wine wall, and a Bourbon tower near the salad bar. Brazeiros also features a private room where you can host an event. We ordered the Gaucho Experience so we could try all 15+ of the meats. They let us start out at the salad bar first, but this wasn't my first Brazilian BBQ experience -- I think I grabbed a couple pieces of cheese, and that's it. The meats started coming at a reasonable pace. We'd grab our slices, and proceed to eat them. After a few stops, the servers started coming faster and faster. It was hard to keep up with the onslaught of deliciousness. There were so many choices, it's hard to pick a favorite. Steak, chicken, lamb, pork, and more. And don't forget the amazing cheesebread. All were delicious and it was hard to turn down the servers as my belly started getting full. As usual, Brazilian BBQ dinners can be expensive. If you show up before 3pm, there's a bit of a discount. Wow what an experience.. we came to celebrate a friend's birthday. I made the reservation and we were seated as soon as the group arrived. Our server was quick to get our drinks order and since this was my first time and everyone else in the group has already been here. He still took the time to explain the service. The salad bar was a nice touch but can get crowded quickly. They had a couple meat & cheese options, some veggies options and then salad toppings with different lettuce options. Unfortunately I wasn't able to take any pictures from the pace of dinner and not enough hand to hold plates and my phone. Once we got our salad plates made, they started bringing out some sides, mashed potatoes, fried polenta and fried bananas. The mashed potatoes were flavorful and the fried polenta was good too, light salt and just enough crisp. The fried bananas were my favorite just a hint of sweetness. But the stars of the show were the meats. Also let me say that the meat servers were precise and speedy dancing their way through the dining room. They were quick to identify who had there card on red or green. All the meats were cooked to perfection. The chicken and the lamb were my favorite. I recommend getting some of the sauces on the salad bar some of the meats weren't really seasoned but their sauces are a nice compliment. The seat is nice however the tables are a bit congested and have to find a path of least resistance to get up to the bathroom or salad bar. Overall great experience, good service, there was some lagging/confusion on us getting the dessert menu and the food was good. Really disappointing experience. The meat was mostly overcooked, and the servers left the table as quickly as they could whenever they had the chance. The woman cutting the meat was the worst--she often skipped over everyone else at the table who wanted to be served without even asking. We had asked her a time or two to come back but she walked off as she didn't hear us. This visit was especially strange since our last was great. Hopefully, this was just a one-off, but given the cost, I don't see myself coming back anytime soon. We also waited at least ten minutes for drinks, clearly they had forgotten them. Wrong drinks refilled the second time. Throughout the night I was also given cuts from the wrong side requested. The food was ok. Nothing spectacular here for this Brazilian steakhouse. The meat quality was hit and miss. Some were over cooked. Some were too salty. The price seems a little steep for the area. The meats came all at once so it's nonstop food which is nice so you don't have to wait long. But sometimes you do forget what you have on your plate and after a while the food start to tastes the same. The mash potatoes was great and very buttery which makes it delicious. The salad bar was ok. Not lots of options but at least you get your veggies in with all the meat from dinner. We've had a friend who had been planning to come visit us for a number of months, and I got excited when I saw that an Argentinian steakhouse - Gaucho Urbana - was being built in our neighborhood, as we felt it would be a great place to take our friend. Unfortunately, construction wasn't completed, but we had an urge for this type of experience. So we found Brazeiros Churrascaria at 4th St. Live. Now, I'm not a 4th St. Live kind of guy, but we did go there, and boy, am I glad we did. The food was outstanding and plentiful. The Salad bar was perfect for the one vegetarian in our group and the meat eaters had a feast to be remembered. Service was top shelf. Everyone was attentive and wanted to be sure we weren't lacking for anything. The General manager stopped by our table a number of times which was impressive. In conversation we found out that they were the ones opening Gaucho Urbana in J-Town and we were introduced to the gentleman was was going to be in charge of the new restaurant. Again, this was an impressive visit. I'd definitely recommend going there for the service, food and ambience. I can't wait for the new place to open and have this type of experience "around the corner" from me. read more

I haven't visited Brazeiros since at least the pandemic. I'm very pleased to say this place hasn't declined. It remains a nice room. Service continues to be excellent, and the various cuts of meat continue to be of extremely high quality. It's a great place to go if you're interested in trying a lot of things all at once. It CAN definitely be overwhelming. But my dining companions, who weren't even familiar with the concept of a Brazilian Steakhouse, also had a great experience. It's too much food and to expensive to come here more than every once in a great while, but when you do go, it's absolutely worth it. read more

It has become a tradition for my boyfriend and me to visit this restaurant each year for his birthday. They also offer you a free dessert for your birthday. This may be the best Brazilian Steakhouse I have ever visited. I found myself alone in Louisville for a conference. What better to do for dinner when I hadn't eaten all day than a Brazilian steakhouse? This was right up the road from my hotel in the 4th street live area. The experience is similar to other restaurants of the style. It's about $57 for the full experience. With a bottle of wine and tip I was in for $122. I spent that much at my hotel and didn't get a bottle of wine and the food wasn't nearly as good. All of the meats are what you would expect. You Ask for a specific level of done mess and you get it. You ask for extra Picanah and you get it. You get pretty much whatever you want and the service was great. If you are in Louisville and need the meat sweats, get yourself here. read more

Amazing place and wasn't so busy when we first arrived about 5:25pm. Seated immediately and before long almost all the tables were full. Quickly waited on, water requested and followed up with drinks. They explained the system and how it works. Red coaster is no meats, green they stop by with continued different meats ( also roasted cinnamon pineapple) Service was fast paced but if you get overwhelmed by so many so quick flip the coaster to red! All the meats were excellent and had choices of medium rare to well done. I can't even remember all the different types but they were all great. I'm not partial to mutton but enjoyed the lamb chops and leg of lamb. Filet Mignon, Rib Eye, Chicken Legs, Top Sirloin and Bottom Sirloin, Shirt Ribs, Pork Ribs, Bacon Wrapped Chicken, Chicken Legs, Sausages, Garlic Prime Rib and Shrimp. I might of missed one, but impressive food. If you're partial to some meat(s) just asked or request something; wonderful service! And yes the salad bar - very good and diverse items but don't fill up too much on salad. The salad is good, but $ for $, the best bang for the buck is (I counted 8 different offerings) the steak, chicken, sausage, ribs, and lamb. There was even grilled garlic bread and grilled pineapple. The sides of mashed potatoes, plantains, and fried polenta sticks were not impressive. The tables are very close together, so maneuvering throughout the dining room can be a little tight and noisy. The servers were above average. They have it down to a science, and you pay your waiter. This was a pricey experience, but if you've never been to a Brazilian steakhouse, it is worth it for a special occasion or bragging rights about how long you hung in there before turning that disk over to red. read more

In comparison to what I have experienced in Kansas City at fogo, the salad bar is MUCH smaller, and the full experience is a good 5$ more. Service however, was impeccable. It could have been because I was the only single patron eating in the dining room, but the servers remembered what I liked and how well I liked my meats. Four of us were wanting a nice dinner in between two sessions of a convention we attended in Louisville. We only had about two hours to spend, so we knew we wouldn't have time to wait for a table. We called ahead and were told that as long as we arrived at Brazeiros before 5pm, we should be fine. We did, at more like 3:30pm, and were seated immediately. It was almost empty then and didn't fill up until shortly before we left at a little after 5pm. The salad bar was well-stocked, and I had a bit of salad, but saved most of my appetite for the meat. I ordered a Manhattan, my usual drink, and it was perfectly prepared. The bottomless sides (plaintains, mashed potatoes, and fried polenta) were all very tasty, as were the rolls. And then came the meats! They were delicious! The only one I was mildly disappointed with was the pork -- it wasn't as tender and juicy as I'd expected -- but everything else was delicious. There were a couple kinds of sausage, which I hadn't seen at a Brazilian steakhouse before, and both were great. There was chicken, and several kinds of steak. The Coxa de Frango (marinated chicken legs), Picanha (salted sirloin) and Filet Mignon were my favorites. I passed on the lamb, but my husband tried it and liked it. Went on a Saturday night and it wasn't busy at all! Had a reservation and we were sat immediately. All the servers worked as a team and are sure we had everything we needed. All food was super hot. It was a fun experience. We had to walk a couple extra blocks to get there because of 4th street live had the street blocked off on the side we were coming from. It was very calm and noise level was decent. They sat everyone in the same area so it got noisy sometimes but didn't affect our experience! My BIL got an old fashioned and he really liked it. Out of any Brazilian steakhouse I've been to in the state of Kentucky (and I've had quite a few), Brazeiros has the best meat selection you can find. Brazeiros is a little more expensive than the average Brazilian steakhouse by about $10, but I mean hey that's totally worth it for what it is. Their servers and bartenders are premium individuals, and I greatly appreciate the experience they give every guest who enters their building. The ambiance is refined, modern, and fits the price tag. Most people use this for special occasions and I can understand why, but if you have the extra money and really want to venture out I'd highly recommend this place under all circumstances! read more

We got lucky and found street parking about a block or so away from Brtazeiros and walked in. We were greeted by the hostess who confirmed our reservation and quickly showed us to our table. Not being my first time in a Brazillion Steakhouse, I declined a trip to the salad bar. My wife, on the other hand, reported that the Salad Bar was well stocked and all the food was cold as it should have been. As she enjoyed her salad, we ordered Dinks. I had the Pineapple Martini and my wife ordered a Knobs Creek, neat. I anxiously waited for the first gaucho to come by. Fortunately for my stomach, I did not have to wait long. The first gaucho that came by had smoked sausage and chicken. I more than happily took some of each. I will not write a review on every offering, I enjoyed their 15 different types of meat, some more than others. All in all, all the meat was good. I really enjoyed the Filet and the Garlic Steak. I was disappointed in the pork chops and a few of the other beef choices. The ones I did not care for were severely overcooked, making them taste almost like liver. Even with the minor issues, I really enjoyed my birthday dinner, As I mentioned before, I have enjoyed Brazialloin Steakhouse on multiple occasions. If you have tried Fogo de Chão or Rio Steakhouse, they are a little better, but Brazeiros Churrascaria deserves a visit. Oh, and I cannot forget to mention the service. 100% top notch. Surprisingly busy for early on a Saturday. The service is very good, but you'll sit pretty close to everyone around you. And you should just skip the salad bar. The main event is the meat - all very good - and am the sides are just meh. They do have an impressive wine list for date night? Or good pairing.
