Food and service were excellent. The space is beautiful. We celebrated a birthday and they were very kind and helpful. Just a great spot

The service was 5 ! We were given detailed explanations on all the meats and cheeses on the charcuterie board we chose and our server was extremely kind and helpful. She always made sure our wine and waters were refilled! The ambience is fantastic and the restaurant itself truly beautiful! The charcuterie board we chose was good but I would have appreciated some nice baguette with it or some more crackers. In total we received three crackers each. The meats were tasty and so was the cheese. I am looking forward to trying one of the entrees in the future.

We were so excited about trying out this beautiful space!! It did not live up to our expectations. 1. Nice list of handcrafted cocktails. 2. Charcuterie board was nice, but was brought and left at the table without any explanation - we had to ask after we heard part of a description from the table beside us. 3. Asked the waiter what he recommended- and went with his #1 pick - pork osso bucco. Listen, I am a meat lover. I was up for a delicious protein. First day of summer menu. What came to the table was a beautiful shank of pork. However, the skin, instead of crispy was Impenetrable. We were served a large bone that we had to fight for meat, and a mound of dry mashed potatoes. No sauce, no veggies, no streak knife. I was so disappointed I didn't eat. I literally left hungry. I wanted to be helpful with kind feedback on something they just rolled out that day. Our feedback was met with an "ok." No, "can I bring you a dessert, can I bring you anything else, what can do so you don't leave hungry." There are very few places on this app that I I don't anticipate revisiting. Unfortunately, this will be one of them.

The Chocolate Ganache Cake and the Crème Brûlée. Both very good.

Delicious food and a cool atmosphere. In my opinion, Cured is already one of Louisville's best restaurants. I will admit, I didn't know what to expect before our Saturday night reservation at Cured. The website is actually somewhat misleading; it doesn't include all the food or bar options, and it left me wondering what type of restaurant Cured is trying to be. They seemed to brand themselves as part cured meats, part cocktail bar, part steakhouse, and part Spanish Tapas. Thankfully, now I can clarify: Cured delivers delicious meats and cocktails. That's the brand. While they offer other items, it's their meats, their cocktails, and their service that will keep you coming back. We started with cocktails. I had a delicious Manhattan. My friends were very happy with their old fashioned cocktails and margaritas. We ordered the Cured Charcuterie Platter for 4. It was large and included about 80% meat, 15% cheese, and 5% fruit & pickles. We thoroughly enjoyed all of it. The wine list is not high priced. But, the wines pair very well with the food on the menu. We had a bottle of the Sargon and everyone enjoyed it. We then shared a large and delicious Caprese Salad. The mozzarella cheese and the tomatoes were super fresh and tasty. We also shared the Cassuelette. It was a warm, thick white bean stew with pork, ham, chorizo, and chicken. One of the guests in our group called it his favorite dish of the night. We also split the 20 ounce Ribeye, which I would highly recommend. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare and had a nice char on the outside. It was really good. We tried the crème brûlée and the chocolate ganache cake for dessert (it was, after all, a birthday dinner). Both were very good. I recommend Cured for any special dinner you may have. I can't wait to go back.

Best steak, amazing cocktails, and an outstanding chef. Absolutely coming back, the ambience is incredible too!

We had dinner here Saturday night for my birthday. It's got a great feel and vibe. Upscale but not snooty. The charcuterie board was amazing. Our group of six all had plenty with the option labeled for four. But it was an appetizer for us. The main course for me was a tomahawk steak. I had never had one but always wanted to try it. It's not an inexpensive choice by any means but it was a special occasion. It was the best steak that I have ever tasted! Service was excellent. The server was always there just when you needed her but never seemed to be hovering. Overall it was a great night out if on the spendy side.

    Smoked Pork Chop and Carbonara.

Pork chop was incredibly tough - even to cut into. Flavor profiles were good with a smoked sauce underneath. Not a tender piece of meat in the least bit. Wife's carbonara was fantastic with homemade noodles. The Cured charcuterie board was also fantastic. Service and ambience were very good.

I loved everything about this restaurant. It was out first time here and the staff was sooo friendly and explained everything very well. We tried the Beef Carpaccio, Steak Tartare and croquettes as appetizers. We didn't even have time to take pictures of the beef carpaccio haha but everything was beyond delicious. Congratulations to the chef! As entree we ordered filet mignon and pasta alla putanesca. Delicious!!

Chef was rude about correcting undercooked steaks.. unacceptable especially while having important business meals during the Derby.

Drinks were French 75, house margarita, a smoked and sour, and another drink my friend got I can't recall the name of. The ambiance is so cute down to the light when you enter with the name. I walked in around 5:15pm on a monday night, with plans for a friend to join me around 5:30. The sign at the host station said to wait to be seated. So I waited. And waited. and waited... Folks walked in after me, waited for a bit and then sat themselves at the bar. But I did not want to sit at the bar, we wanted to sit at a table. The server seemed to be willfully ignoring me and avoiding my attempts at eye contact. The bartender was taking care of everyone at the bar as well as making drinks for the rest of the patrons too, he saw me eventually and was looking around for the server or (nonexistent?) host to help me out. The bartender ultimately told me that I could just seat myself wherever I wanted, so I did. There were maybe 3 table seated at this point, it was not that busy. Then it took yet another chunk of time (6 pages read in my book I never leave home without) before I got water and menus. I was frustrated but was looking forward to seeing my friend and was ready to make the most of it. All that said, I like the vibe of the space. The dark, cozy vibes. We came because we wanted cocktails and something to nosh on. And eventually we got that. We shared a flatebread and an Asian-inspired hushpuppy sort of situation. They were pretty tasty and nice to have with our cocktails. The cocktail list is longer than expected and with a lot of intriguing sounding offerings. The two I had were very tasty and delicious! I would maybe come back again and sit at the bar so a solo visit if I had a stretch of time and no rush. My overall memory of the visit is still about the over-long wait/being ignored for such a long time after entering.

I was able to score a visit recently on Derby Week, and that will be one of the highlights of Derby Week this year for me. We arrived shortly before our reservation time after hearing that our table was ready. I was seated at the bar, to be joined by my good friend a few minutes later. The cocktail menu sounded intriguing, and I started with an Oopsie Daisy and she sprung for Fighting Words. As we sipped our drinks, we perused the menu and decided on an array of mezze as our meal that night. Crispy cauliflower arrived first, followed shortly by tuna tartare, then whipped labneh and spring pea hummus. They even provided a gluten free pita option for the gluten sensitive in our party. Out of our choices, the cauliflower and the spring pea hummus were my favorites, although everything was very good. Throughout our meal, the staff was attentive and kept our waters full, cleared plates as appropriate, and made sure we didn't need anything else during our visit. Worth every one of its 5 stars, I think you'll enjoy Meesh Meesh just as much when you go, too!

MeeshMeesh Mediterranean…read more We had the most lovely night at MeeshMeesh tucked right into the heart of NuLu. From the second we walked in, it felt warm and welcoming, like being invited into someone's home for dinner. The space is intimate without feeling cramped, and we were lucky enough to grab a cozy window seat. It had that perfect hum of conversation where you feel the energy of the room but can still talk easily. Our waitstaff were incredible, thoughtful and genuinely kind in a way that made the whole night feel relaxed and personal. We started with an olive oil washed martini that was crisp, silky, and honestly just really good. A simple drink done beautifully. Then we decided to go all in and order the Shefa, Chef Noam's guided family style feast. You choose a main and then the kitchen takes you from there. Plates started arriving in waves and the table slowly filled with color and texture. The first taste included chamutzim pickles, fresh herbs and vegetables, matbucha, and labneh with za'atar. We added the tuna tartare, which was bright and fresh and such a nice contrast to the richness of the spreads. Everything invited you to tear into the warm pita and pass plates back and forth. The salatim followed with shawarma spiced chicken and crispy cauliflower, full of flavor but not heavy. It was the kind of food that makes you slow down because you don't want to miss anything. We shared a bottle of Chateau Musar Musar Jeune from Lebanon's Bekaa Valley, and it paired so beautifully with the warmth and spice of the meal. The star of the night was the lamb merguez with cucumber yogurt, dill, and pistachios, served alongside jeweled rice with pepitas and cranberry chutney. It was deeply spiced, comforting, and somehow both bold and cozy at the same time. It honestly felt like being wrapped in a hug. You could taste the care behind it. Dessert sealed it. Warm chocolate babka and coconut malabi with seasonal preserves. Sweet but balanced and the perfect way to end the evening. More than anything, what stood out was how personal the whole experience felt. Nothing about it felt trendy or forced. It felt rooted, intentional, and full of heart. You can sense there's a story and a family behind this food. If you're in Louisville, MeeshMeesh is truly special. Perfect for a celebration, a date night, or just a night where you want to sit at a table, share plates, and feel taken care of.
