I love a nice swanky cozy spot with cool cocktails for a cool hip Nulu local like me to walk to. Thank you Nulu

They've been open 1 week! (With a sister business coffee bar opening right next door sometime soon). The staff are super friendly. Genuinely personable and attentive bartenders/mixologists. Being sooo close to so many hospitals, I made a suggestion to offer a later, after 7:30p happy hour for nurses/healthcare workers and the bartender enthusiastically wrote it down to pass it on to the owners. I thought that was cool. I'll definitely be watching the socials and sending folks this way if I see them start to offer that. They have a decent 3-6p happy hour. There was a $2 beer on tap and several dollars off some of the fancier cocktails. It's the same happy hour daily. I like a good happy hour, but love when it changes each day so i have an excuse to come in on unexpected days and sample more of the menu. I'd also love to see something bourbon on the list. Will travel for a Old Fashioned happy hour.. I neglected to take pictures of the drinks and snacks, but very fancy, beautiful even. -- and pretty generous in size and price. Cool upscale/mediterranean-vibe decor, inside and out. You could dress up or come as you are. In a very Nulu sorta way, no one cares either way. I liked that. I wish the high top stools were a little more comfy. Something with backs would be great, but I understand that opening a business is expensive.. and seating is expensive, so hopefully that's something they can start to add in after a few months of success. All in all, cool new spot. Great for impressing a date with pre-meal/show drinks or a laid back catch-up with friends. Come as you are -- they'll make you feel welcomed either way.

Visited my youngest niece here during one if her late server shifts. She's spoken highly of the establishment. Very intimate, but not cramped vibe. Cool music from the DJ. Per my niece's suggestion, since I like bourbon with fruity flavors, she made me the Nada Nada Limonada. It was refreshing and delicious! Also tried the birthday cake shot...WOW! Truly tasted like bday cake. I would recommend this spot for people that like the bar experience but not feeling crowded. All servers, of course my niece, were welcoming & friendly.

This bar is a great addition to NuLu! I love what they have done with this space. The patio is very welcoming. The inside has a lot of room to spread out, but also can feel intimate. The bar is extremely inviting and it's fun to watch the bartenders craft their cocktails. I've already gone twice since it opened. Both cocktails were very refreshing, reasonably priced, and I think pretty unique compared to other places. There is an extensive menu to choose from. Even if you're not a drinker, there are options that look very appetizing. We didn't try any of the food, but there are plenty of options. Shoutout to the bartenders who checked to see if things were safe for Celiacs. Because it's a small space and they only have one prep area, there is a high chance of cross contamination. So if you do have an allergy, definitely ask and assess the risk. This is right by Grind, which is an added bonus, and there's also a little market opening next door called Goldie's which is very exciting. If you've ever gone to Canary Club or Breeze, you'll probably love this place because it's the same group. We'll definitely be back at Bar Nada Nada, and can't wait to try more of what they have to offer.

The vibe is perfect! It's cozy and has phenomenal cocktails. We stopped by and settled into the couch and enjoyed a couple rounds of cocktails. If you are looking for the ideal spot for an after work drink, go to Bar Nada Nada

They really have outdone themselves in renovations! It's just so beautiful and photos are great but seeing it in person will show you what I mean. The staff is beautiful and they handled my questions perfectly. Coming from everywhere to relocate here so it's great to meet other transplants in this city! One of my favorite parts of moving here has been discovering new places that are local and finding out they came here from somewhere else too lol! The massive selection of wine and drinks is not only impressive- it's important to know they have work so hard on curating every aspect of this place. Only using art created by local artists that is for sale and will change every 6-8 weeks! So if you see it... you know you want it- get it before someone else snatches it up for themselves!!! The space is so elegant and showcases such diversity throughout! It's so unique and yet flows together seamlessly... just like our unique city and community. I really feel they embraced and embodied this wholeheartedly. Yeah keep Louisville weird- and upscale lol. Perfection. They only use local haunts we all love and eat at! Red hog, blue dog bakery and more. This place is super sick and such a special treat! I really hope everyone shows up and enjoys this place and gives them a big beautiful welcome they are so deserving of. Yesterday I was there for a book club meeting of Alliance Francaise Louisville. I had a delicious fig salad: goat cheese, black walnuts, figs and figs. This was paired with a glass of rose. There's a bartender named Yan who used to run this challenge where he'd make you a cocktail and only charge you if you liked it, he was really good at what he does. He's the one who introduced me to the Paper Plane, which is now one of my all-time favorite cocktails. I'm not sure if he's still there, but the other bartenders seem pretty good too. Just tell them what you're in the mood for and let them guide you. Here's what I got recently: The Dark Bar Princess: a must if you like something sweet and fruity. I'd say it's lime-forward with a strong pomegranate presence, and the gin completely disappears into it. Super refreshing and really easy to slam. Highly recommend this one. The Day Disco: a mezcal cocktail with a chili rim that brings real smokiness and heat. It's got a little sweetness to balance it out, but the mezcal is definitely there. I've never loved mezcal so this is just "pretty good". Monkey Drive shot: It smells and tastes artificial, like heavy fake banana, almost chemical. Not their strong suit. On the food side, I can definitely recommendthe Machada empanada for $6. Beefy, cheesy, and one of the best bar snacks they have supposedly. The bartender told me it's their biggest crowd-pleaser and I agree. Overall, would recommend this spot
