Cocktail: lullaby and goodnight Appetizer: Salmon dip

We decided to visit the bar while staying at the Omni. I wish I could remember the bartender's name but I can't. It was a petite female with black hair. She was AMAZING!!! She made great cocktails and was super warm and pleasant. She took really good care of us in spite of having many people to serve. For cocktails we had old fashioned and lullaby and good night. For food we had Salmon dip. Everything was delicious. Not to mention the decor, the furniture, fireplace and view of the street made it a very comfortable and inviting space.

The ambiance at the Library Bar is on point and very enjoyable, but that's where the good experience starts and ends. The cocktails are mediocre and overpriced. The service was completely non-existent, despite two bartenders and a server standing around at the bar. We will definitely stay at the Omni again, but grab drinks elsewhere.

This place was a great vibe and was a very unique setting that i very much like. You order at the bar with the bartender and if you get food they bring it to your table. The food was good but was a little pricey they give a very heavy pour on the wine. I liked the vibe and would recommend if you like a chill vibe and good drinks.

This bar has an opulent feel from the grand lobby to the chandeliers and fireplace inside. Small bar offering a few choice cocktails had two smiling servers behind it that were friendly. Great spot to feel fancy and pampered in a faux elitist imaginary library daydream. Great pit stop.

My coworkers and I are here for the NACADA Conference and staying in this wonderful hotel! We decided to have a night cap before retiring for the evening. We loved the atmosphere but our server was terrible! I think it may have been his 1st day on the job because he was clueless when it came to customer service! The drinks can be pricey. I ordered a glass of Sauvignon Blanc and it was $25! Yikes! Anyway, the place has a really chilled vibe and it's great for relaxing and talking! Just make sure you look at the prices before you order your drink so you won't end up with a $25 glass of wine!

Didn't have any food but the service and ambiance was very open and comfortable. Definitely a nice meeting place for a Sit down beverage and weekly wrap up or before you head out for the eve

Beautiful hotel bar, lots of interesting books and crannies for small and large groups. Staff are professional and efficient. Drinks are well-crafted and extremely expensive, like you expect at a hotel bar, bug setting is pristine.

Fun atmosphere, great selection, excellent service. This is located in the lobby area of the Omni Hotel. It's decorated to look like a Library. It's really relaxing in here. They had the fire going and with all the people it made for a really fun time. The bar tender was super friendly and really fast at making drinks. We had a few hours to kill and stumbled upon this bar in the Omni hotel. First of all, it's beautiful. I really liked the library theme. It's very cozy in there with couches and a fireplace. I had a glass of wine and my husband had some sort of tequila drink. Both were great. The bartender was really nice and chatted with us while we waited. It was the perfect place to stop for a few.

    Comfy seating to relax

So I'm trying all these amazing places in the Omni. This place is beautiful and full of history. The photos take you back in time for this beautiful city. It's a nice quiet spot in the mornings and the bar opens mid afternoon. I'm absolutely in love with all the photos. Tons of light from the floor to ceiling windows and an inviting fireplace that doesn't cook you in the summer. As with almost every space here, they pay homage to the rich history of horse racing with photos, sculptures and more. As it's 3:30... one drink is enough for today, but basic seems nice and knowledgeable. Might be a five star if I needed a drink! It's up to you to decide! Cheers!

It was a full house but everything was really good as far as drinks and food. Staff was nice considerate and updating you when it comes to something taking too long, getting another beverage. The whole 9 yards. We got the Neapolitan flat bread and it was great! Also the popcorn of the night was lime chili and it'll knock your socks off! So tasty. Drinks were French 75, house margarita, a smoked and sour, and another drink my friend got I can't recall the name of. The ambiance is so cute down to the light when you enter with the name. The vibes is warm low light. Parking is street only and limited. You may have to park a block up and walk.

I walked in around 5:15pm on a monday night, with plans for a friend to join me around 5:30. The sign at the host station said to wait to be seated. So I waited. And waited. and waited... Folks walked in after me, waited for a bit and then sat themselves at the bar. But I did not want to sit at the bar, we wanted to sit at a table. The server seemed to be willfully ignoring me and avoiding my attempts at eye contact. The bartender was taking care of everyone at the bar as well as making drinks for the rest of the patrons too, he saw me eventually and was looking around for the server or (nonexistent?) host to help me out. The bartender ultimately told me that I could just seat myself wherever I wanted, so I did. There were maybe 3 table seated at this point, it was not that busy. Then it took yet another chunk of time (6 pages read in my book I never leave home without) before I got water and menus. I was frustrated but was looking forward to seeing my friend and was ready to make the most of it. All that said, I like the vibe of the space. The dark, cozy vibes. We came because we wanted cocktails and something to nosh on. And eventually we got that. We shared a flatebread and an Asian-inspired hushpuppy sort of situation. They were pretty tasty and nice to have with our cocktails. The cocktail list is longer than expected and with a lot of intriguing sounding offerings. The two I had were very tasty and delicious! I would maybe come back again and sit at the bar so a solo visit if I had a stretch of time and no rush. My overall memory of the visit is still about the over-long wait/being ignored for such a long time after entering.

I was able to score a visit recently on Derby Week, and that will be one of the highlights of Derby Week this year for me. We arrived shortly before our reservation time after hearing that our table was ready. I was seated at the bar, to be joined by my good friend a few minutes later. The cocktail menu sounded intriguing, and I started with an Oopsie Daisy and she sprung for Fighting Words. As we sipped our drinks, we perused the menu and decided on an array of mezze as our meal that night. Crispy cauliflower arrived first, followed shortly by tuna tartare, then whipped labneh and spring pea hummus. They even provided a gluten free pita option for the gluten sensitive in our party. Out of our choices, the cauliflower and the spring pea hummus were my favorites, although everything was very good. Throughout our meal, the staff was attentive and kept our waters full, cleared plates as appropriate, and made sure we didn't need anything else during our visit. Worth every one of its 5 stars, I think you'll enjoy Meesh Meesh just as much when you go, too!

From the second we walked in, it felt warm and welcoming, like being invited into someone's home for dinner. The space is intimate without feeling cramped, and we were lucky enough to grab a cozy window seat. It had that perfect hum of conversation where you feel the energy of the room but can still talk easily. Our waitstaff were incredible, thoughtful and genuinely kind in a way that made the whole night feel relaxed and personal. We started with an olive oil washed martini that was crisp, silky, and honestly just really good. A simple drink done beautifully. Then we decided to go all in and order the Shefa, Chef Noam's guided family style feast. You choose a main and then the kitchen takes you from there. Plates started arriving in waves and the table slowly filled with color and texture. The first taste included chamutzim pickles, fresh herbs and vegetables, matbucha, and labneh with za'atar. We added the tuna tartare, which was bright and fresh and such a nice contrast to the richness of the spreads. Everything invited you to tear into the warm pita and pass plates back and forth. The salatim followed with shawarma spiced chicken and crispy cauliflower, full of flavor but not heavy. It was the kind of food that makes you slow down because you don't want to miss anything. We shared a bottle of Chateau Musar Musar Jeune from Lebanon's Bekaa Valley, and it paired so beautifully with the warmth and spice of the meal. The star of the night was the lamb merguez with cucumber yogurt, dill, and pistachios, served alongside jeweled rice with pepitas and cranberry chutney. It was deeply spiced, comforting, and somehow both bold and cozy at the same time. It honestly felt like being wrapped in a hug. You could taste the care behind it. Dessert sealed it. Warm chocolate babka and coconut malabi with seasonal preserves. Sweet but balanced and the perfect way to end the evening. More than anything, what stood out was how personal the whole experience felt. Nothing about it felt trendy or forced. It felt rooted, intentional, and full of heart. You can sense there's a story and a family behind this food. If you're in Louisville, MeeshMeesh is truly special. Perfect for a celebration, a date night, or just a night where you want to sit at a table, share plates, and feel taken care of.
