The Hunan Chicken was disgusting!!!! The skin was left on the chicken and the sauce was sparingly unflavorful. I called to complain and the lady that answered the phone said okay I'll tell them that it was no good. That's a generous two. Skip the sushi. It was foul. I'm sure there was some cheese in the crab Rangoon, but I couldn't find it. Beef & broccoli and pork and mushrooms had the same problem. Three of us went for lunch on a Monday. The restaurant was clean and plenty of seating. There was a good size lunch crowd at 12:30, which is always a good sign so food gets turned over frequently. The food is buffet style, always fresh and hot!!! The employees are very friendly and provide excellent service. The atmosphere of this place is very clean and nostalgic. They set the restaurant up very lovely, with a tree, flowers, and lantern decorations inside. Even has a very well kept goldfish tank in the entrance!!!! Nice buffet kind of hidden and tucked into a strip mall. As Chinese Buffets go, I felt this one is a little above average. One thing that may have tilted my review, I'm a fan of Hot and Sour soup. Their Hot and Sour soup was good, way better than a few I've had in this area. That got me off to a good start. Of course we tried numerous items, some good, some not so good. But my go to items, General's Chicken, fried chicken wings, Crab Rangoon and fried rice were all above what I call average for buffets. My friend and I wanted a quiet inexpensive place with vegetables to go to for lunch. She suggested China Buffet. I had doubts because of disappointments with buffets in the past. I need not have worried. The music was not deafening. The decor was lovely. Sushi was very good and fresh. Actually everything was fresh and constantly being replenished. A pleasant surprise was Egg Fu Yung and sauce. Very nice. The "Italian shrimp " didn't appeal to me at all after one taste. Seasonings didn't complement The seafood. My friend and I had a leisurely lunch and a wonderful afternoon. Appreciate the kindness of the servers who helped make it such an enjoyable experience. read more

I've been going to this restaurant since it opened, when it was 1/2 the size but after my last visit on 07/18/2019 I won't be going back. While eating at a booth with my son, he said look and pointed at the glass divider between our booth and the one in the next Isle. I looked and there was Cockroach crawling around on it. My son took care of it after I took a pic and not 1 minute later my son said look and was pointing at the table and there was a small Cockroach crawling on the table next to my plate. NASTY!!! About a year ago my daughter tagged me on a posting on Facebook where someone posted about a big Cockroach crawling on their table here but I told her I didn't believe it but I do now!!! I have filed a complaint with Health Department and gave them the pictures of the Cockroaches. I will miss the all you can Crab Legs and fried frog legs but I won't miss the Cockroaches. read more

It gets the job done. My friends and I always come here after a night of drinking and Chinese food always helps cure our hangovers. The servers are very attentive when it comes to refills and clearing plates. The place itself is always clean and organized. Even though my friends and I sometimes come here, the food is just average. Some items can be sitting out for a long time so you don't know how long it has been there and some things are bland. The Lo Mein is my favorite, it's my go to Chinese food item. This place is just as good as any other buffet. My friends and I love to pig out at this buffet on our hungover days, and it's satisfying every time. Honestly though, it's really not much more than your average Chinese buffet. The deal for what you get is pretty good. It's about 11 bucks for all-you-can eat, and the variety is pretty large. The quality is not the best, but it's still cheap, decent food. They've got your typical Chinese cuisine from different types of chicken to fried rice, and then some other options like fries, macaroni, etc. I also find it pretty impressive how they have a full bar for desserts and sushi. Don't expect anything mind blowing, but it's definitely a relief on your wallet for as much food as you'd like. read more

This has been the best Chinese buffet I've been to. I've been going since I was a baby. It opened in 1998 and has had consistent service and great food quality ever since. They have all the classics and favorites. I always get honey chicken, bourbon chicken, lo Mein, crab rangoons, sweet and sour sauce, and teriyaki chicken. They have great banana pudding with fresh cut bananas and super good banana rolls for dessert along with many other options. Sushi is good too. The people have always been nice and they always remember us for how often me and my fiancé come here. This is a great little place for me specifically because it's pretty close to my job, it's all you can eat and it's a decent price for the dinner menu since I work second shift, I can never get that tempting lunch special. They have the same food that pretty much every single Chinese Buffet has, crab legs, crab rangoon, orange/bourbon/General Tso/etc chicken and/or beef. A nice dessert area and lots of those yummy chow mien noodles to keep your inner fat kid happy. The employees are kind and make sure that you have enough to drink, usually if you're running low when you get up to get a second (or fifth) plate then by the time you come back you have a second cup waiting for you. This is probably the best Chinese buffet in southern IN, food pans are always quickly stocked back up with freshly cooked foods, staff is always friendly and attentive to filling your glasses and taking away dirty plates. my dinner partner wanted some chicken on a stick and the pan was empty when we went to the bar, the staff was kind enough to bring a plate full to our table, cant beat the service or the food. we've patronized this restaurant for many years, even when they were located across the street next to Kroger's new location. well worth the visit and reasonably priced. read more

Me & my sister decided to go right when they opened only 1 other person was there & the waitress said everything hasn't been put out yet which was fine. As soon as I sat down with a plate a lady passed me up with no mask on. I said ma'am you forget your mask & she just ignored me & started Walking to the buffet. I mentioned it to the waitress she said she was going to talk to her. The lady said I come here all the time & no one has ever complained. She commented that she has some type of breathing problem & can't wear a mask. I asked her if she can just put a napkin over her mouth while breathing over the food She got smart. We let the waitress no we were leaving she said she couldn't wear a mask I said then u should provide customers with a plastic shield that can't wear mask. We placed an order from Door Dash from here. The order was incorrect. When I called them, the lady offered to give me a credit for future orders. We didn't want credit because the food was terrible. The food has a lot of artificial flavorings. The fried rice was bright yellow with pieces of pork that were a tough as leather. This Chinese buffet has been a staple for my friends and I since our high school days. I still come here all the time. The food is good for being a Chinese buffet. Usually cooked well and features a wide array of dishes. The staff is very tentative and will refill your drink very quickly. The lunch is cheap and the dinner price isn't to pricey. If you're looking for a good Chinese buffet this would be my suggestion for the southern Indiana area! read more

My son saw a roach crawling around in the clean food bowl bin. He lost his appetite. I immediately told the waiter and several of the workers went over to check it out. One of them was laughing as if that's funny. No discount offered in our bill. My son and I have been eating here for over 8 years. Excellent lunch Buffet! Everything is fresh and tastes great. Good price too, less than $9 per person and that includes your drink.

As far as buffets go, this has been my favorite in the area. The wait staff is by far the friendliest I have encountered, prices are reasonable, and depending on the time the food is wonderful. I usually stop by while shopping next door at Sally's. The best time to stop in is between 10:55 - 11:15am if you want the freshest food and best selection! For myself and (2) kids I can expect to pay about $14 for lunch & drinks, plus tip. They ask the ages of the kids since they charge two prices for small kids and older kids and kids under age 2 seem to be free. As for the food, the mei fun is my fav! They offer the usual buffet options; fried rice, lo mein, Kung pao, beef & broccoli, wings, crab rangoons, etc. The soups are hot, the noodles are fresh, and they offer a raw bar where you can have the cook make you your fresh meat dish. They have a soft serve ice cream machine and the standard pastry puffs, cookies, and fruits for dessert. A couple times a year they offer a seafood buffet that is wonderful! This buffet should not be overlooked! This is my standby option and I find myself stopping here with my kids more & more! Don't forget to ask for a "To Go" box so you can load up some food for later! First off, you need to be watching carefully for this place when you drive down Lewis & Clark Parkway as it's tucked into a strip mall that's set back from the road and partially hidden by trees scattered through the parking lot. The food is ample on the buffet, but not as flavorful as what I'm used to from other Chinese buffets. Dinner was about $9 for adults and $5 for kids.
