There's regular breakfast and lunch items that you'd expect at a diner but then there's Chinese and Korean menu items as well. I had the Korean short ribs and pork fried rice. The rice was greasier than expected and not all that flavorful. The short ribs were a little tough but very tasty. Hash browns are also good and crispy. Overall I'd consider going again. I've only eaten at this restaurant twice. On my first visit, I ordered the French toast and bacon. It wasn't anything special, but it was good overall. The French toast could definitely use more cinnamon, and the service was okay. On my second visit, I ordered French toast, hot wings, and fries. Unfortunately, my fries never came. Our server was also incredibly rude to the other people at my table and was generally inattentive throughout the meal. We ended up speaking to a manager about the situation, but I'm not sure if anything was done to address it. The restaurant could also use a thorough cleaning. Ordered sweet and sour chicken. When I got home which I live 10 miles from this place there was no sweet and sour sauce, I mean I ordered sweet and Sour chicken. Called to talk to the manager and he offers me a 15% discount on my next order, really. If I wanted just fried chicken I'd go to Popeyes. I thought if I called they would give me my next meal free. I made a trip to Leesville for a Family Reunion and was told this place was a good breakfast spot. My uncle and my kids came here last Sunday morning. Call me generous with 4 stars but I liked the place. Definitely doesn't look like much from the outside, not many of the restaurants do in this area. But the place reminded me of a more cultural Dot's Diner. The place is rather large, lots of tables. It is an older building and yes could be a tad cleaner; but it gives you a Waffle House feel.... And I'm good with it as long as the food's good. I will say it took a long time for our food to come out and still a few things were forgotten. Normally I'd be okay with the wait, because I mean they were busy, but I had kids and they have a 45 minute cap before they start acting up! So if you're in a hurry this isn't the place for you. Our waitress Kim, was the absolute sweetest as well as her daughters. They all had great sweet attitudes even through the chaos. You could tell that there was communication issues between the waitresses and the kitchen at times. I was surprised to see they offered Chinese and Korean food. I was really happy about that because I'm Korean and I love Korean food! We ordered kids pancake plates, which was like an adult size plate. Huge portions. I got biscuits with sausage gravy, hash browns with onions and ham, a waffle, and eggs with bacon. The waffle was epic, I asked if the waffles were better than the pancakes and well Kim did not disappoint with her recommendation. Biscuits with sausage gravy were really good. Hash browns were a tad burnt, but that was one of the items they forgot. Bacon and eggs were cooked great. Food was good for breakfast; I ordered Kimbap Togo for my drive home and well I should've ordered three orders. They were delicious!!!! Again portions are great per price point. Where I am in Texas if you order one kimbap roll it's $9-$13. Here I think it was $9.99 and they gave you two hefty rolls. The dining room didn't look like anything out of the ordinary in a small Louisiana town, but some of the menu items are what makes this place stand out. The service is wonderful and attentive. I ordered the bibimbap and Korean chicken wings. The bibimbap was wonderful, and on the generous side with the ingredients. The chicken wings, however, was left to be desired. Absolutely my favorite place to eat anytime I'm in the Leesville area. Discovered this restaurant through a friend and at 2 a.m. in the morning. Always superb service from each employee, great food, and a few times I had the pleasure of seeing Mrs. Kim the kitchen. Absolute sweet lady! I take my mom here on occasion and we always enjoy each other's company and the great food here. From the variety of Korean Food to the breakfast, this place has never failed to satisfy me. Honestly coming in I was excited because I did hear some good things about this place. Very disappointing paying $30 for slop. They have a wide variety of American dishes but 4 Chinese dishes. don't waste your time. The food was gross and you could tell it was at least a day old. They messed up my order and it came out looking like cat food on top of rice. The sauces were lumpy and gelatinous which was very off putting. This Korean food place is a Yelp gem in rural Louisiana. I was hesitant since it looks like a dumpy diner. It's nice and clean inside. I had crab Rangoon and a egg roll to start. No one hand makes egg rolls anymore so it was average. The Rangoon was crisp and hot. They have a homeade dipping sauce that was not to sweet. The Bi-bim-bop is fantastic. I decided to go here for the Korean food. However, the menu had everything from a good ole American breakfast, hamburgers, meatloaf...you name it. It also included a small Korean section and a small Chinese section. I had the Bi Bim Bop Korean bowl and it was actually pretty authentic (to my knowledge) and pretty good. The red hair lady ( I did not want to post her name without asking), She is the best waitress, she makes sure you get the service. The waitress we had continually left multiple plates in the heating window for extended periods while taking more orders. Our food sat in the window for at least 20 minutes. the food was ok it was my first time there but my mom said the chicken fried steak looked very bad compared to other times. I don't know it was my first time there. What i thought was unbelievable was after we ordered our food the waitress said she would ring us up while we were eating. I have been to many restaurants I thought ok she will give us our bill, however she came up to us in the middle of us eating with food in our mouth not even half way done came up to the table with no bill she just said that will be $34 so we had to stop put our utensils down wipe our mouth and take out our money which we paid for cash . We were two of just a few customers in their so we found out she was getting off and wanted to ring us up so she could leave. I was a cook for 20 years in the navy and corn or any other vegetables or just automatic you have the. heated sparingly and ready to serve not much to it. This is my first yelp review from so many years of eating at restaurants quite frankly if she would not have come up and disturbed us to pay now with food in our mouth i would not have cared about the corn. Didn't even get to eat. Went in for breakfast and apparently they are short a cook and had only one. Waited for about 45 mins and started paying more attention and noticed that hardly anyone had food. Meanwhile they kept bringing out food to stock their lunch buffet with. This was around 930, their lunch buffet doesn't open until 11. That means by 11 most of that food has been out for about 2 hrs already. Why focus on lunch that is 2 hours away when you have customers waiting? We watched about 3 different tables get up and leave without eating and being there for longer than us.
