Meh Louisiana just stick to Cajun food. I order the ribs. Big portion and tender but lack lots of flavor. BBQ sauce did not have a distinct flavor. Tastes like a bottle from Wal-Mart. The best thing I had was a cold beer and fried pickles. However the toasted bread was great! Other than that the fried okra was not hitting. For a BBQ chain, BubbaQue's is consistently good every time we've visited. We usually order the Bubba Wings (Mild Rub) and the Pulled Pork Basket. The wings are huge, hot, and crispy. The pulled pork is fork-tender and the sandwich bread is fresh and grilled too. Always a pleasure to visit! read more

The baked beans might've been straight I can and the greens were just average. There was just afternoon and the rally a couple of people there the service wasfriendly. We stopped here for lunch while on work travel with a small group. Service was timely and responsive. We enjoyed some of the wall decor, some of which is really random and quirky when you think about it. Our table ordered fired pickles to start, they were crunchy and delicious! Stopped in for dinner, and was served by what we believe was also the bartender. She took our drink order and after a few minutes brought back a tigers blood drink that was pretty tasty. We ordered our entrees, i had a shrimp salad. I wanted the salad to have double "meat". So i wanted a double serving of shrimp. But i only wanted half of them to be the breaded spicy kind. The other half i wanted just normal shrimp. Im not sure if i miscommunicated this in some way, but she kind of looked at me like i was crazy. honestly one of the worst places ive been to. staff was mean and acting like i was inconveniencing them but they gave me practically raw chicken. the sides were fine and i ate them but didnt touch the chicken. i asked for a refund as i wasnt going to eat it and i offered to pay for the sides as well. they told me its "manager policy" that they cannot refund me but they can give me something of equal value on the menu. atp i didnt want anything else as everyone has alr finished eating and i didnt want to wait another 30 minutes for food i wasnt going to eat so we just left. obviously not the waiters fault but this place needs better management and standards. they don't value their customers read more

Went to BubbaQue's for lunch today. It was excellent. I had the plane wings and I have to say, they were the best wings I've ever had. I also had the pulled pork plane. It was really good. I'm doing everything plane because I'm on the carnivore diet and can't have a lot of carbs. The service was excellent as well. The server, Lydia, was very attentive. At one point I didn't see her when I needed a refill so I just set my glass out at the edge of the table and she was there so fast it made me wonder where she even came from. Disclaimer: we have gone to some legit BBQ spots where you can see the smoker/grill and you can see them cooking the food behind the counter. In comparison this is a pretty good BBQ but it's not fresh BBQ. The service was good and the food was good. We got there at 1130 and they opened at 11 so it was just us and another couple. The only concern we had was the collard greens were not warm. The mac and cheese was good, but it was white cheddar cheese. Oh and the bread was amazing!! read more

*Do not recommend New management didn't fix it. If dinner for two is going to be over sixty bucks, you need to get it right. There were a lot of things missing in our carry out (how do you forget one meat in a two meat dinner?), that could have been caught by taking a minute to double check before packaging it. We live an hour away, so just stopping by to chat about it isn't really an option. The ticket was correct, so there was no miscommunication, it wasn't busy, and there were a lot of missed items, so it seems to be a matter of not caring. read more

Bubbaque's is not an establishment my family will visit EVER again! Perhaps the "New Owner" sign out front really should say "Food & Drink Quality is Taking a Nosedive." Because that is precisely the case, today was just the final straw. My 9 year old & I walked in expecting the "Howdy" experience & all we received was crickets. We sought the staff, only to find them at the bar. We attempted to sit at a table, only to be sequestered to a booth. We had to ask for a child menu AGES after we ordered drinks. I ordered a bloody mary & tried to choke it down the whole meal, only to drink, maybe a quarter. I have had one from this location a few months prior & it was okay. So, I explained the one today was the worst bloody mary I've drank in my life! The waitress says her manager probably won't void the drink or even try to make it right. She tells me mixed drinks are premade & sit for who knows how long. Poor thing even tried to make a separate ticket buy me a replacement drink, that wasn't total garbage. Shame on management. Guess that is why the parking lot is always empty. The music choice is always full volume country while you sit around a bunch of taxidermy, it's not like I was expecting a fine dining experience or a free meal. This place is pretty awesome. The name is pretty priceless alone, but the ambience brings it all in. From the poster of mom smoking a drag, to the Christmas tree next to the singing fish on the wall- this place has plenty of talking points if you're out to eat with friends or forced to eat with inlaws/coworkers. The building is very clean, thought the lighting is a bit dim. The staff is very nice. There was plenty of sitting room and even an area for a big party. The bar area has a lot of TVs; perfect for watching sports or the latest episode of GoT. My food was pretty good. I had corn nuggets as an appetizer. It was my first time having it- I'm not a huge fan but that's just me. I also had a pulled pork burger. They throw a bunch of meat on their sandwiches, and they are delicious. read more

Very few barbeque joints can make a good brisket. It's usually dry and chewy. If you have to put barbeque sauce on it that's like admitting defeat. Bubbaque's, on the other hand, has brisket down to an art form. I've eaten there maybe ten times and I've never been disappointed. Their pulled pork is also really good. read more

Ok so I'm not a huge bbq fan but I went because someone else said that they heard it was good and I saw the reviews were pretty good on Yelp! The sampler platter was very good. My wife's brisket sandwich was good and the sweet potato fries were good. My pulled pork sandwich was bland not much smoke flavor or taste to it. The bbq beans were fair and I got them because the waitress said they were awesome. My friends burger looked awesome and she said it was good.
