Amazingly Delicious! The Jamaican spot has a cozy vibe to it, and I can't even explain the level of quality the food prep is there. So healthy and good! Your first bite literally melts in your mouth, you can't believe the deliciousness, and then you go sliding off the chair onto the floor in comfort and satisfaction! My favorite is definitely the curry chicken with cabbage. It is Solid! Beverages yes, they don't just have your normal soft drinks. They also have a variety of real fruit juice drinks! They are served really cold, and the food is served hot. So they perfectly compliment each other. You will dearly love your meal! The Ox tails, Yes, I said Ox tails! They are Fire too! So Enjoy- & Bon appétit- read more

I absolutely love this place and always make it a point to stop by whenever I'm in Leesville. There's reggae music playing in the background, and the staff are all so friendly. Food comes out quick, and the meat quite literally slides off the bone and melts in your mouth. They were out of collaloo when I went, but the meal was still amazing. read more

The jerk chicken and pork was delicious as well as all of the cabbage, beans and rice. Two meals worth of food on the plate. Service was great as well. Could've done without the obnoxious Jamaican radio blaring so loud we couldn't hear each other. If not for that, it would've been a 5 star review. read more

I was really disappointed by this Jamaican spot. The food was completely flavorless--it lacked the vibrant seasoning you'd expect. I spent $58 for two plates, and it just wasn't worth it at all. read more

The food amazing and delicious and friendly service and it's island food for me and I enjoy trying different kinds of foods.

Very friendly people! Very clean place! Menu has variety however, the jerk chicken just tasted like smoked chicken. The oxtails were very tender but ok to taste. The crab salad was good. I'm not saying don't try this establishment, it was not what I was looking for. read more

I don't know why I forgot to review this place. I had the best oxtail I've ever had here. This gem hidden in a small town was one of the highlights among the meals I ate here. I have had jerk chicken once in my life. That is my entire experience with jamaican food. I came in not knowing what to expect, and a menu with very little description. I ordered the sampler after my waitress described what all came with it. It was a LOT of food. I learned that i really like stewed pork and ox tail. Will definitely be back. read more

This is my favorite place in Leesville. They give huge portions of food and everything is seasoned well.

Hello humans- When u think of Louisiana u probably think about Cajun food. But when being a vegetarian u can't get too picky with the food cause u have less options. I checked out this place and I'm so happy I did. The Jamaican Spot was so good- they even crafted me a vegetarian plate that was not on their menu. Everything was delicious. Very savory. The plantains were cooked perfect and were the right amount to of ripeness. The cabbage was so good. And it also came with rice and beans which were perfect. I will definitely be back. read more

Absolutely delicious food and even more impressive are the portion sizes. You are easily able to order a meal and still have tasty leftovers for lunch the next day. I was hesitant for the longest time about trying their food because I have never tried Jamaican food but I'm so glad I took a chance! I ordered the mix plate with two meats and it was outstanding, my coworker and I devoured it. She ordered the same plate a few days later she liked it so much. This place is amazing!!!! You're greeted with such home vibes and love. We ordered our drinks first. I ordered the Pineapple ginger. I ended up ordering two more!! They're delicious!! Tried a Carrot and Mango and it was yummy too! If you don't think you'd want to try it... just get it! I had a bowl of the soup. It's hearty and tastes really good. One of those kinds of soups that's good for you when you need a "pick me up." Definitely recommend. The Ox Tail was sooooo tender, eat it with a fork or right off of the bone! Every single thing on my plate was absolutely hitting the yummy vibes!!!! I also ordered Choco bread! It came out steaming hot and it was so fluffy and yummy!! Definitely recommend, definitely will be returning! The service and food is incredible here. If you have a large party/group call in advance it will surely help them out. read more
