The paint and body work performed at this shop is good. Customer service is not.
My car was side-swiped and the side mirror broke and the door and side body was damaged a bit.
I got an initial estimate and agreed to get the work done. I asked them to keep the entire side mirror so that I can keep it for parts (only the hinge broke). A few days later, I got a call from the shop telling me that they quoted me the wrong mirror part. Since my mirror has the camera, turn light signals, etc., it's going to be a few hundred dollars more. I told them the new price seems too high but they were adamant that the price was not high and that I was getting a discount. This is year 2017 where part numbers and catalogs are available online and I can call any dealership around the entire country to price shop. I did exactly that and found prices that were lower.
Fast forward two weeks and I'm picking up the car. I ask for the side mirror that I had asked them to hold onto and guess what I got back? JUST THE MIRROR. I asked where the mirror assembly was and Sam argued that I don't need the entire assembly back because I would have no use for it. How about first giving back to me what is mine and what I had asked for them to hold onto and then explain to me that any parts within the assembly are not individually replaceable from the manufacture? We went back and forth and I said forget it, we're done here.I was livid at this point and failed to notice paint primer on my seat and had to get that removed elsewhere.
I got overcharged plus he kept my mirror assembly for gray-market sale. Again, the workmanship is good. Customer service needs work. read more
