Great place on the West End to grab a drink. Kimi and all the bar staff are friendly and welcoming.

A fabulous west end "watering hole". Super cool vibes, great drinks and awesome service. Never have I ever been disappointed. Looking for a great craft cocktail at a cool spot, this is it. Wanna sit outside by the fire pit sipping a good beer, this is also the spot. Come alone or bring friends, I promise you'll love it! read more

We came here for a yelp event but I have to rate it separately because this spot is IT! It is dog friendly INSIDE year round, which is a huge selling point! I got their version of an espresso martini ("Brown Bird") and it was soooo good!! This was my second time being here and far from my last! Service was speedy and this is a place that is cool during the day AND at night. read more

Love a night at Kimi's. The staff are always chill, the drinks are always fire, and the fire is always cozy! My weird obsession that they have the light switches over the booths on dimmers! Sometimes, you need a little extra light without harshing everyone else's vibe, y'know? Menu fave is the Brown Bird, their fantastic take on an espresso martini! read more

Kimi's - Cherry Bomb - Bars Near Me - Providence, Rhode Island

This is a great little craft cocktail bar. The drinks are unique and very good. We went in on a Wednesday night at 9PM and there was a steady crowd coming in, but not crowded at all. There was a dj playing music in the back and it was at just the right volume for the space so you could still hold a conversation. There was one bartender on at the time and he was able to hold the fort down with no problems. We ordered 3 different drinks and everyone of them was fantastic. All of them were price at $12: Angry Birdie, Cherry Bomb, and the Amaretto Sour. My personal favorite of the three was the Cherry Bomb. The bar itself doesn't have much parking, but their is a school lot across the street. I'm not sure if you are supposed to park there, but school was definitly not in session so we took advantage of the situation. Definitley worth a visit, I will be going back. read more

I've been here a few times now and think it's a dope spot on the west side. It's a clean bar and has a nice atmosphere---sort of cocktail bar meets good pub---but still possesses the positive divey charm, oddly enough. I've mostly gone on Monday nights, when Kimi works---I think she may be the owner. She's hilarious, slings up incredible cocktails, is quick w beers and shots, and is quick with a joke and the light of a smoke. read more

Fantastic bar on the west side of Providence, walkable from Downtown, Federal Hill, and the West End. My favorite part of their drink menu is their cocktails, but they have a great beer selection and decent wine selection as well. Prices are very affordable, and the service has always been great. Most times I've gone it's been a chill spot, not too crowded with good music. This past weekend I went and it was packed. We figured we came during an event, and turns out it was Kimi's birthday! Even got a slice of birthday cake on the house, and had a great time even though we felt a bit like party crashers. Staff couldn't have been more friendly, though, and I'm looking forward to coming back again! read more

Cocktails at Kimi's? Always delicious. Service? Super friendly and fun. Vibe? Immaculate. Kimi's is one of the newer players on the cocktail scene and they're serving up a fantastic rotating array of fresh, whimsical cocktails in the West End of PVD. It's also one of the extremely rare woman-owned and operated bars that exist in New England! (This is where I would insert a girl power emoji if Yelp allowed it, but alas!) Inside you can't help but fall in love with the variety of seating options. You can grab a spot at the bar or grab a pew (yes, an actual church pew!) in one of the many nooks along the side if you have a larger group or wanted a quieter spot. Fun little observation: if you grab a pew along the side, the tables have outlets! No more panicking in case your phone is about to die and you need an Uber home! Win for Kimi's when it comes to the little touches! read more

New cocktail spot in Providence on Washington street. Nice ambiance, decor and lighting. There's only drinks here, no food. However there are a lot of good restaurants in the area. Got the angry birdie and hello darkness. Both were good. The angry birdie was a bit unusual as it's similar to an old fashioned except it's with tequila. Overall good experience. Good spot for large groups. read more

Max is THE BEST (at least, my favorite) bartender in PVD. In Rhode Island. In New England? Probably! His bartender skills are unmatched--he's incredibly attentive and takes tremendous care in his craft. But most importantly, he's extremely gregarious and provides the most personalized service I've ever received at any bar, hands-down. I come to Kimi's just to hang out with Max. Love this dude, love this bar--you can't miss this spot if you're in town! read more

Nothing but good things to say about this incredibly inclusive and hip spot. Max at the bar makes one of the best old-fashioned cocktails around Providence. read more

Kimi's has a fun atmosphere and a great outdoor area with fire pits and picnic tables, perfect for groups. Our drinks were delicious; we ordered 'A Box of Knives, highly recommend. The service was top-notch. Our bartender, Max, mixed us some mean cocktails and was super attentive on a busy Saturday night. read more

The space is beautiful and designed by the owner. She and the other staff are awesome, the drink selection is great, and they have a lot of different spaces to sit - private or in the open, indoors and out (a fire pit in the winter). The best! read more

Service okay.. maybe bartender was busy but definitely not that pleasant. Had one drink it wasn't bad I like the idea of being able to order food to eat there though. Younger crowd and loud. read more

Huzzah for the west side bringing on more amazing establishments! Kimi's is a hip bar in a converted garage space. The flow of the indoor/outdoor seating as well as the overall aesthetic is to the nines. Trendy, but with a touch of grit to make it inviting to a variety of clientele, which did show in the eclectic crowd that was present. Birdie da bartender makes a mean martini btw. I am too excited that they get DJs on some weekend nights. I can't wait to check that out. read more

A great neighborhood hang out spot. Perfect for events etc. they have themed parties and stuff. Clothing swaps. Etc. I love it here. I am glad to have Kimi's in my neighborhood. It's a unique spot where they can open up the large garage doors to have one vibe, or you can cozy up in a booth or at the bar for a different experience. Nice twists on classic cocktails. Sophisticated flavors without feeling pretentious. Some pricier drinks with top-shelf offerings with crafted flavors, but there is also a $7 margarita that's rimmed with black salt. They pair-up with local food trucks, as well. It's a good spot where you can have a conversation with friend without feeling like you are shouting over the music - or - you may make new friends at the bar as you discuss the cocktail offerings. The decor is just the right amount of cool & weird meets comfort. Easy walk to restaurants and breweries, so you can include Kimi's as the start, end, of focal point of your evening out. read more

Very laid back, hip bar with lots of options for cocktails and beer. We loved how fruit forward but not overly sweet our cocktails were. Saw lots of people bring slices from Nice Slice across the street to eat with their drinks and it's awesome they are cool with that. read more

The Avery was closed! We were looking for someplace nice to sit outside and have a decent cocktail when I spied Kimi's & said "What's that? That's new!" So we pulled over and have it a try. And we're we glad that we did! This is a WONDERFUL place! Endless beer/ale selection and full bar. We spotted ISCO gin and asked them to just make us a cocktail of their choosing using that. Max produced two French 75s that were wonderful! For our second he asked if we wanted to try the same drink but with Empress 1908 Indigo gin. A bit different from the first, but equally terrific. Wonderful aesthetic, terrific cocktails and fabulously lovely friendly people! I hope & pray that this does as well as it deserves to as it has already entered my 'favorites' short list!! Love everything about it!! read more

I friggin love this place! Really cool local hole in the wall. Classy bar, live music, food truck....and they know how to mix a drink. SUPER cold ice...like really REALLY cold...lasts like 2 hours if you are a sipper. They give to go boxes for left over ice due to the Guinness book of world records melt time. Seriously F the North Pole! Check it out. We did and we ain't kippin : ) read more

Such a great spot! This place has a lively, energetic atmosphere, a wide ranging beer list, delicious cocktails and the people are wonderful. Love that the tables have dimmers where each table can control the light levels, such a nice touch. Max and Shamara are super friendly and seem to really love their jobs! read more

Finally a bar for grown ups. Love the fact it's lively but QUIET. No blasting music or blaring TVs. The outdoor space is a patch of asphalt outside on the street, not really a "patio" but fine on a weekend afternoon when there's not much traffic. Afternoon Sun can be pretty intense too, umbrellas help a little. Beer selection acceptable, tho Moniker around the corner brews is own and has the best outdoor beer garden, well shaded, but they don't do cocktails. Bayberry the next block over has food which Kimi's doesn't. Park in the big School Dept lots on Washington, the lots behind that are private and tow ( I found this out the hard way). Sort of an odd area with not much of a neighborhood compared to the rest of the West Side. We'll see how they do! read more

Great cocktails and really nice indoor AND outdoor seating options. Great to have a breeze coming through inside on a sunny afternoon! Love that Kimi's has boozy popsicles and the sexy fish lady mural is pretty cool, too. read more

I appreciate that the owner made this place so thoroughly her own. That said, the atmosphere is very specific: black paint, cattle skulls, skulls on the bathroom wallpaper--it all borders on kitschy, and I definitely don't think it's "cool" even though I think that's what the owners going for. And that's where I don't give it five stars, along with the fact that my cocktail wan't particularly great. Snobbery aside, this is a pretty nice place to get a drink. The big open garage door, outdoor space, tall ceilings, and friendly bartenders are great. Any one can enjoy this bar, and I'm sure some people love this bar. It's a good compliment to the great West Fountain area. read more

Kimi's is very nicely done, everything is brand new, great drinks and great people. I would strongly recommend checking it out.
