I waited 45 minutes for two burritos on a Friday night dec29,23. Not sure if that's ok or normal but i was looking for a fast, light, quick meal. Was contemplating on getting Kbbq instead for about the same price, would've been a quick meal and I would've finished before these burritos were done... heck I could've driven to Burbank where my favorite sushi burrito is and driven back and saved time! On the bright side, the burritos were actually good, they tasted great, amazing, and I felt like I got a good portion even though I ate 1.5 burritos and was not 100% full. But unfortunately we won't be back unless it's lunch and there's no one there and we're on a diet and my favorite sushi burrito is too far away to bother going to. Staff were nice, they gave us a miso soup to make up for the wait so I added a star just for that, hopefully soon they'll decorate the walls and stuff to give it more of a branded feel so I don't feel like I'm at the previous restaurants that were there before them. Was pleasantly surprised by the spicy/tangy/super yummy sauce that went along with the one I got, and it was definitely a healthy portion! I eat a lot, and between that and the tamago spam musibi and a hot tea, it sure hit the spot! As the other reviews have mentioned, the staff is really friendly and it may be a tiny little place, but that makes it great for takeout and a casual place to eat when you've got that sushi craving. It did take a little time to make the food, but totally worth it. I like the way the hand roll is like an even amount of the protein and rice, not like a typical hand roll when it's like a come. Had the spicy lobster and the shrimp as well as the California roll, the shrimp roll was my favorite. for appetizers had fried California rolls all delicious and amazing and the people here are very sweet and accommodating.
