Kimbo Beef Noodle is one of the stands in the now Mettra-operated Jax & Co food court. And as you might expect, service is not the focus, since it's a food court with minimal staff interaction.
Unfortunately, while the space is nice as usual, the food at this stand is... not up to par. They have to charge food court prices (defaulting to a fairly high tip despite the fact that you order at a kiosk without human interaction) and this negatively impacts the experience.
I got the 贵州特色黄焖牛肉粉. It was something you'd pay like 10-12 dollars for max in an independent Flushing food court stall. Here, after tax and tip, it was $20. And I wasn't even full afterwards. Probably twice as much meat and noodles in the image as reality. Again, this would be fine at a much lower price point (the food tasted fairly good, though nothing outstanding), but at this price point it is very hard to justify. read more
