Keith came out to help me treat a flea issue. Of course, the day before, I happened to come across a couple of termites in my windowsill as well. Having never needed pest control before, I was a bit freaked out. Appreciated the text updates on his status. He ran about an hour late, but immediately at the scheduled time I got a text giving me a heads up and asking if I want to reschedule or wait. My biggest pet peeve is not getting a heads up when someone is running late, so I really appreciated this. Keith could have taken me for a ride and upsold me on treating the termites. Instead, he assured me that it appeared to just be a couple and probably wasn't an issue just yet. To keep an eye out and see if the problem worsened before we tried anything. I appreciated his honesty. In addition, he was very thorough in explaining how he'd treat the fleas, and provided the service at a fair price. I felt very comfortable using him and this was the first time in a while that I had someone out for a service at my house that I felt I could trust and was actually taking care of me. Hopefully the fleas will disappear once treated later this week. I'm really happy I found Kilgore Pest Control, and will definitely be calling them out for any future service I need. I went with Kilgore in July 2018 for a rat pest problem. The service included a warranty of 5 years of all seals and areas serviced in the house to be rodent free. They were courteous, professional, and friendly. They did quality work and were thorough in sealing all the possible points of entry. We had no rat problems until just recently, Nov 2020. I called them up and it was hassle free for them to come out and investigate. With the evidence in the same hot spots as last time, they agreed to leave some bait and to come back in a week to follow up and check for the new entries. I am very grateful for how kind and professional they are. I do hope to go back to them in a few months to give them my regular bimonthly pest control service. I can't say enough good things about Kilgore Pest Control. While I used to think of pest control as a commodity, Keith at Kilgore Pest Control proved me wrong. I've used other pest control companies in the past, and NONE of them did as thorough of a job as Keith. The first time he came out, he really took the time to explain everything he was doing and how everything worked. He sprayed deep under the house (which no other pest control company had ever done before) and even checked up in the attic (he even asked for a towel to put down first so the attic ladder didn't scratch our floors). Then, when we had an issue with rodents (EEEEKKK!), he came out ASAP and took care of the situation. He came out several times to follow up and even cleaned up the mess they left behind. Wow. I called Kilgore pest control based on the great reviews here on Yelp, and I was not disappointed. We called and had to leave a message but was called back right away. Mr. Kilgore himself called back and set up an appointment for that Sunday. Mr. Kilgore was on time, he checked my house and told me what he thought the problem was and gave my husband and I advice on what to do and did not charge for any of this.
