It is rare that when a bad thing happens and the owner of the store would seek you out to apologize. This is a place where they do care if something is not right. Great convenient place to get little things here and there if you don't want to trek all the way to a grocery store. It's nice that they have fresh food available, but the kitchen closes kind of early in my opinion. The freshly prepared food can be a little hit or miss depending on what you get and who is making it, but it's pretty solid. A breakfast sandwich that includes BLACK PUDDING and eggs on a fresh portuguese roll, and all the junk food from my British childhood! What more could I ask for while lugging my laundry next door? Kikis is a staple here in Brighton. Catering to an area saturated with Irish folk such as myself. Very accommodating, make it exactly the way you ordered it. Never a problem. This is one of my favorite little stores ever!! This store is much bigger than you would expect with tons of Irish treats that you can't find anywhere. They have a small meat and dairy area in the back and fresh coffee always brewed. They also make the best subs around. Try the turkey gobbler or the pastrami! All their breakfast sandwiches are good for hangovers. The staff is so friendly and nice. They are also really fast which is really appreciated. Sometimes I shoot the shit with them. Kikis is one of the reasons I love oak square and am happy to stay another year. Trust me, during winter you'll be grateful you live by them :) read more

This market is great!!! It has literally everything! The best part is that they make hot and cold subs! I've tried their meatball sub which is pretty good also the small subs are 4.99! I also tried the Italian sub they over did it on the vinegar but it was still delicious! They have lots of European chocolates here for example kinder. Kiki's is an excellent mini-mart. I have consistently been able to find things there that I have not been able to find at certain grocery stores; a good example is there wide selection of English candy from Cadbury. They also have wicked awesome prices, simlar to WalMart. The only thing I know for sure they don't have is tonic. But if you just want to pick up a quick dinner or snack, or bevarge, they have a very good selection. read more

As I Brit, I came solely for the Irish goods to remind me home. I went in searching for Branston pickle and left with a big ol' jar plus a bunch of sweets & some Ribena. I was impressed with the selection, as I expected to see the sweets but not the sausages & such. A lot of places I've been to have super jacked up prices for Irish goods, but I found the prices here reasonable. Friendly service, too. read more

I go here for all my Irish goodies from home! They import everything so the Cadbury's is actually Cadbury's. The prices are really good considering they have to import the products. I've bought many $1.00 Cadbury flakes and $1.00 Fruit Pastilles here. You can get Irish groceries like Brennan's bread, brown bread, fruit cake, jaffa cakes, club milks, sauces, odlums baking flours & mixes, lucazade, tayto crisps and they have a selection of breakfast meats, rashers & sausages too. At Christmas they have mini puddings and selection boxes and at Easter you can get Easter eggs. Definately well worth a visit, especially if you're off the boat and missing home. I get way too excited when I know I'm going to Kiki's and always stock up! The staff are always super friendly here too. read more

Kiki's is a great, local Convenience store with a great selection of snacks. The Chocolate selection is huge and the Irish chocolate is extremely inexpensive. The deli is excellent whether you get a burger, soup, or a Sub. All the cashiers are friendly and helpful. Some of the items may be a little expensive but worth it. On thanksgiving day we didn't have all the groceries we needed to make Thanksgiving dinner, We went everywhere looking for an open store, ALL CLOSED, except Kiki's. It was a lifesaver. Good for lottery tickets, chips, Irish stuff (some foods, papers) and the service is pretty fast. Would be great if they could open an annex that would divide the store into two - one completely Irish, the other a traditional convenience store. Might speed the lines along too. Overall, the staff does pretty well moving a lot of people in and out fast. read more

There's a total war within my office about which is better - Kiki's or Fanueil Market. I thought I was outside the turf war, but really there is no competition. This store is dirtier, has more boring sandwiches, has rude staff, and seems a bit more expensive. Finally found my go-to breakfast sandwich spot! In my experience living in the Brookline area for four years, a place that served a good quick breakfast sandwich was non-existent. This isn't a convenience store, this is a tiny supermarket. Perfect if you forgot to pick up something on your regular food shopping trip. I often find myself walking over here to pick up ice cream, chips, milk, bananas, bread, or cereal. The prices are a little more expensive here, but sometimes there are specials. They also have a tiny deli which I tried recently. I recommend the Aegean chicken on a tomato wrap - very fresh! read more

What happened to this place???!!! When I first moved here 3 years ago I wouldn't go anywhere else. Seems like since they expanded it's gone down hill. Every time I go now I swear it will be my last time. Deli staff is rude and if you say something about them making the sandwich wrong they are even ruder! How does that work? Nice little story. Has most of what you would need. Prices are higher than the grocery store, but thats always the case. Deli is great as I am there at least once a week. Most subs are like $5 and are pretty tasty. read more

This place is great. They have fresh produce and the Subs and prepared food is finominal. I have paid more at restaraunts and not received such great tasty food. Coffe is great and the people who work there are so friendly and nice. I prefer this kwik mart to alot of the other ones in the area. They are clean, fast and friendly. I LOVE KIKIS!!! Last Sunday the girls at the counter and the coffee lady were nothing but the sweetest people I have ever seen working at a convent store. I was paying for my roast beef sub and I could tell they genuinely cared by how they started a long conversation with me. I was getting ready to leave and i saw the coffee girl help an older woman with a cane and carried about 4 coffees to her car for her, after spilling one of them before. I would give a 10 out of 10 for the Irish candy, although i have to drive a long way to get here it is well worth it !!! The sub made by the deli was the best roast beef i have had in a long time. The man working on the grille was so sweet to all the costumers in front of him. I would totally go back to kikis, but next time for the long ride my husband will drive :) read more
