I saw the name and just had to try it. My wife was quite full from lunch, but I could squeeze in…read morejust a bit of sorbet.... If you look at the place, you can go into sugar overload. They have Jelly Bellies, Fudge, Ice Cream, and all sorts of interesting confections. The walls are LITERALLY covered with them. They also make authentic sodas with all sorts of flavors. I was on the hunt for raspberry sorbet, and they had it. The single scoop serving I ordered was very generous, and came with a pink spoon that changed to purple when it was cooled in the ice cream (Parents - keep this a secret and watch them figure it out!) This place is kept very clean. The list of stuff they have goes on quite a bit longer, I hit the high points. The service was good, the place was spotless, the tables didn't rock, and the ice cream was good. What's not to like?

Unfortunately, she wasn't there the day we came, but everyone else working was so friendly (sweeter than the candy, if you will). The decor, it's the perfect synergetic aesthetic that is that candy shop in the Harry Potter movies and Target mom's 'candy bar' search on Pinterest. There was even some fun jazzy music playing while we were browsing and eating. Really all more that I needed was some pigtails and the patience for a lollipop, but alas. We got a 4pack of truffles, choco bars and other bits and bobs. There's your classics (fudge/licorice,etc) , some funky new ones (like these candy caps we got - sweet tasting mushrooms?), and even ice cream! Truffles (all dark chocolate): Hazelnut, Amaretto, Salted caramel, Cappuccino The superstars were the salted caramel and cappuccino. TLDR: a trip to this place wArrants a trip to the dentist but yolo for these truffles. Also women owned businesses FTW.

I truthfully thought my mom was lost as we were navigating through what felt like a mixture of abandoned offices and libraries, but we did come to a shop in the back. Upon entering the door, we were greeted by a friendly gentleman. He pointed out samples of the toffee and roasted pecans. There was four toffee and four roasted pecans. He explained each one to us and a few of them were award winners. He asked us to try them all if we wanted. The four of us all LOVED the rosemary pecans. The toffee was good, and I'll be back in the future to get some of that. Overall great options and really appreciate the friendly service and extra explanation on products.

I spied the goofy face on the side of the barn from the freeway and am a sucker for toys, so we detoured to take a peek. I really liked the rustic interior; it gave it some charm that not a lot of toy stores necessarily have. The inside wasn't too overwhelming or overstimulating, and there was a variety of items available for sale, most notably: toddler toys, puzzles and games, playmobile, science/outdoor stuff, plushies, and candy. The selection wasn't overly abundant, and I think they could probably do more with their square footage, if they wanted to. I thought it was cute they had a little nook with a table and chairs and a "game of the week" sort of set up so you could try it out if you wanted. The employee working there was friendly and sweet. I got a small plush Douglas brand fox (because I collect fox plushies and I didn't have that particular design yet). In the basement they apparently sell bait and tackle, which is sorta hilarious. As it was winter when we stopped in, the ice cream attachment was not selling. Rats! Maybe next time we head to WI?

I was in Delafield and realized I needed a couple more small holiday gifts, so I finally decided to stop in. I'm really glad that I did. There was much more there than I expected. Inside, there are rooms filled with all kinds of games and toys. The selection ranges from board games to action figures and everything in between. There truly is something for just about every age and interest. If you are in the mood for something to eat, or want to buy a tasty gift, they also have a case full of different confections. I ended up picking up a couple of items. The staff were friendly and helpful during checkout.
