Just ate for the first time at Kiin Kiin. Had the Pai See Ew and the Pra Ram. Both were excellent. Service and ambiance were both great. It a very nice little place to enjoy some very fine Thai cuisine.

The food is beautifully presented with generous portions. We loved the Spring Rolls and the Tofu Bombs. Also we enjoyed the eggplant dish. The restaurant is on the small side and there are no booths with padded seats. But the food quality is very hard to beat!!!!!

My friends and I were in the mood for some Thai food so I thought I'd give this newly open Thai restaurant a try. Definitely did not regret! We ordered Chicken Satay, Papaya Salad, Tom Kha Kai, Pad Thai, Basil Fried Rice, Duck Curry and Crying Tiger. The food and service is amazing, our server was all smiles, nice and very attentive. We would definitely come back and try other dishes

A new restaurant that quickly became one of our favorite Thai places in the valley! Authentic foods, great menu selection, vegan options, clearly marked gluten-free options, value lunch menu, fair prices, appropriate portions, friendly and attentive service, cozy environment, and quick access to freeway. Will definitely return. Recommend the yellow chicken curry and pad Thai (both gluten-friendly also)!

    Sticky rice and mango dessert!

Best Thai food in Idaho so far. I got thr crispy duck and it was amazing. The food is fresh, the service is amazing and the vibe is chill. The location is small with limited seating but it's worth the wait.

The food was delicious, and the staff provided great service too! We also ordered crab fried rice, but I forgot to take a photo because my husband was so excited about the food. It was really, really tasty -- my absolute favorite! I'm Thai, and I highly recommend this restaurant!

Talk about a mystery! My wife and I finally swung by for a kid-free Saturday date night, and honestly, we've been missing out. The Vibe & A Happy Surprise The atmosphere is so welcoming with plenty of seating, but take my advice: get there early! By 6:30 PM, the place was packed. As a wine lover, I was hit with a total "welcome shock." Usually, Thai spots stick to a basic beer list, but Sa-Wad-Dee has a fantastic wall of wine! Seeing a solid selection of bottles and glasses made me feel right at home. I grabbed a bottle of one of my favorite reds at a very reasonable price--definitely my kind of dinner. The Main Event The service was top-tier, super attentive, friendly, and just genuinely nice people. And the food? Not a single miss. * Drunken Noodles: Full of authentic, bold flavor. * Shrimp Curry: Absolutely fantastic. Final Thoughts If you're looking for excellent Thai in Meridian, don't hesitate. And if you love a good glass of red with your curry, this is officially your new favorite spot. We'll definitely be back (and won't wait another eight years this time!).

I recall that they started with just the chef in charge and all that has changed. The food was prepared quickly. The spring rolls were crispy and delicious. Not a hint of oil as you sometimes find. I didn't really care for the tofu they used. But I came in today with an open mind. It was a pretty chill afternoon when I got there so I was sat quickly. I waited for my friend to show up so I just hung out and looked over the menu. For lunch I decided to order the Tom Yum soup. It was colder today so something hot would be nice. My friend ordered a couple things for lunch. I remember he did order the crying tiger ( I believe that that is what it was called). My soup came out in a beautifully decorated bowl. It was sitting on top of a burner but the burner wasn't lit which confused me. It would have been nice if the burner would have been lit to keep the soup hot. The soup was flavorful but really sweet. I didn't taste much sour or heat to the soup. You get a hearty amount of mushrooms, chicken and broth. Overall it was a decent soup. After a while I focused on just eating the stuff in the soup and not finishing the broth. You can handle so much of the sweetness. Service was good. I did get a taste of my friend's marinated steak, it was really good. But for the cost of the steak, you really don't get much. I have tried this place twice now and I wish I could say that I love it. The food is decent but there are so many Thai joints in the valley that I just like a little better. I'm happy I got to try it twice but I'll just stick to my regular joints that I frequent.

She got us all squared away at a table and we checked out the menu. Bangkok Thai serves some of the best fried tofu. I don't know how they do it but it's always crispy on the outside and soft on the middle, it's so good! No matter what you get your tofu in, in gonna be good! I got the lunch pad Thai with fried tofu. Grandma got fried tofu with mixed vegetables. I asked for her veggies to be cooked longer so she can chew them easier. We were served rice soup for the 4 of us. Grandma got her lunch first since she's vegan and couldn't have the soup. I thought was was really kind of them to do that! Grandma didn't have to be left out. She ate a good portion of her veggies and rice noodles. She was a happy clam. My pad Thai was perfection! It was saucy, it had a good amount of bean sprouts and tofu. And the heat level was nice! My favorite is adding the fresh squeezed lime juice into the noodles. It's so good! I ate half and plan on eating the other half later. Bangkok Thai is one of the best Thai joints in town. It's locally owned by some of the best people. The staff is always nice and they push our killer food. I love eating here and if you're looking for some good Thai food, this is your joint to hit up. I know I'll be back soon.

CLOSED as of July 30, 2025…read more A couple originally from Portland (I think I have the city right) opened their kitchen offering take out only (delivery in limited area) Cantonese food that was pretty good for what it was. They operated out of one of the 17 ghost kitchens in what was the former CRAVE! Delivery kitchens in maybe 2024. (Honestly, the original owner of this original ghost complex added the naming emphasis but the original line up and the one that followed was a terrible disaster.) Now the owner of the ghost complex is apparently going to sell it. My understanding from the Wei people is they are closing now, they plan to travel (including China) for a while. Hopefully they'll come back and be able to open a bricks and mortar place. PS - Mai Thai that was also operating a take out operative from this same ghost complex after the kitchen fire and closure of their restaurant in downtown Boise announced earlier this month that they were leaving this ghost kitchen complex on July 27 and reopening in a Boise ghost complex. They didn't mention that the Meridian complex was being sold.

Overall flavor was acceptable. I guess the presentation was a biggest problem.
