They send you to a place that is not labeled to pick up your food. It's an empty building. Lost out on $24 because the address isn't correct

Simple. Delicious. Great size portions. This is a lot of food, esp for the price! Highly recommend.

The wife and I are HUGE fans of Asian fusion from living in Seattle and spending lots of time up and down the west coast. We tried the dinner for two which came with an awesome assortment of options. The rice noodles with shrimp was delicious, the firecracker chicken is one of my absolute favorites, and the chicken lettuce cups were so good. I also good not resist trying an order of the pork spareribs and they did not disappoint. The only dish I was not a fan of was the shrimp fried rice, recommend going with the Panang rice noodles with shrimp instead. In all this is some of the best asian fusion food we have found in Boise since moving here from west coast.

Delivery (ordered via Crave!'s app) ghost kitchen for food prep and, like the roughly 12 other chains having food made in Crave!'s ghost kitchens, can either be picked up by driving to the big facility or, and this is Crave!'s ace-in-the-hole, delivered by Crave!'s own team of drivers using Crave! vehicles. In a current promo piece the Betelnut owners (currently include Scott Crawford, I think, who heads another chain enterprise being prepped and distributed via Crave! ghost) say they chose Crave! as partner because of the delivery done directly by them. Perhaps they should have paid more attention to whether the people in Crave!'s ghost kitchens under the big facility roof can actually cook good dishes from Betelnut's cook-kits. Because as a three time customer of Crave! I can say two of those three times included food that was inedible to the point of being tossed out. And some of their creation of Betelnut dishes was really disappointing. Delivery = A-. Would be A but on one of those three times the delivery was overlooked and arrived 45 minutes late. Still everyone gets a dropped ball chance and the other two times all A for Delivery for the friendly drivers. Packaging is great too so thumbs up there. See photo: https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/crave-delivery-meridian-2?select=v_8vZalNQ9JrTsxK-1WRgg Food = C-. IF Betelnut really chose Crave! for the delivery component then I'll share with them as a consumer that there is not much value in good delivery of poor quality food. Which might not be as damned frustrating for folks who don't know the back story for Betelnut. It was not, as I think some of the promo material says, created by the incomparable Madame Cecelia Chiang, who died this year (2020) at 100 years of age and who in her young years introduce Mandarin food in the US when she opened a restaurant in SF. She introduced a lot of influential American Chef's, like Alice Waters, Jeremiah Tower (I worked in SF in his day at STARS) and James Beard to the nuances of Chinese regional cuisine. Also the guy who would go on to open Betelnut in SF was inspired by her dishes and it its' day when Chef Alex Ong was in the kitchen Betelnut was delightful. He left, it went down hill and closed in about 2015 after being panned by critics and waning popularity with diners. Now resurrected in the form of Betelnut chain made in ghost kitchen for delivery, some of the menu item names from the old Betelnut are in place. But the quality of food definitely is not. Not that all has been terrible but some are not good and consistency of food of all kinds out of Crave! kitchen has been a failure across the lines ordered so far. Of all of them, the one I most hoped would work would be Betelnut. A loved one resurrected. Alas, not so much.

I started to panic knowing the group would be coming from all parts of Boise and they would not know before trying to arrive there that it was closed. Well Kona Grill and the Manager Alexis came to the rescue I walked into Kona, explained the dilemma and without hesitation Alexis said I think we can accommodate our group. And accommodate us they did. I have to give a big, big, BIG shout out to Patrick and Trevor. They were masterful as our servers. The orders were taken quickly and brought out in a very timely way. Big groups I know can be taunted but Patrick and Trevor rode to the occasion. They were efficient, caring and totally in command all evening in taking and bringing out the orders and never complaining. Both were very pleasant, Professional and right there if we needed anything. It was a great evening and totally happy Kona could accommodate our group and as usual the food and happy hour appetizers were great

It took 45 minutes to get a kids meal out, appetizer didn't come out until after most of the entrees did, and as much as our server tried to hurry our meals up (watched her go back numerous times), nothing worked. How this place is still open is beyond me. I have finally had enough, and will not be back. Hopefully, some other restaurant comes in and kills it, great location. Don't waste your time or money. One Hospitality Group, might wanna work on your management training.

The food arrived on time (was scheduled hours earlier to be delivered by 5pm). The food was cold but we ate some of it anyway. Not long after eating a little we began to feel sick. Looking at the food, it was obvious that it had been standing out for at least over an hour maybe more. We had to throw 95% of the food out. I contacted Doordash and the restaurant owner but neither would compensate us for the loss of 198.00. Instead, Doordash offered just 11.70 for our trouble. This is so outrageous. Never go to this establishment and I just canceled my DoorDash membership! Both the establishment and Doordash have breached food safety protocols in my opinion. Attached is the picture of our 198.00 order in the trash can.

I haven't once ever experienced an incorrect order or slow service regardless of the ordering method. This location is very convenient, as it's close in proximity to everything and great for to-go on your way to other places. I like the cool vibe of this place, though it's not bright inside. The music is good. I placed an app order to dine in (which isn't an option in the app, so everything is packaged to go) for my family and me. I ordered the regular bowl with brown rice, veggies and teriyaki chicken. Hubby had a white rice with teriyaki chicken and my daughter had the orange chicken with veggies and fried rice. My husband's bowl and my bowl were made to perfection...chicken was abundant, fresh, hot and tender. The chunks were a tad large which required a knife, but cut easily. The rice in both bowls were cooked to the right texture, my veggies were crisp tender and seasoned well. We also had the pot stickers and egg roll, the we all shared. The pot stickers sauce is too watery to stick to the pot sticker (no pun intended), but coats them with a pleasant gyoza "essence". Though the sauce wasn't my favorite, the pot stickers had crispy seams and edges, with soft middles. They were delicious. The egg roll tasted a little off, like there were dirty or old veggies inside. I wouldn't order again. My daughter loved the orange chicken. It was coated in a nice orange sauce, but the best part was that the chicken was soft and tender. Unlike another popular orange chicken place, their orange chicken is not heavily coated or candied. You can actually taste the chicken! The fried rice, however, was a huge miss. Maybe it was because the orange chicken was sweet, but the rice had an odd tang to it...not to mention, wasn't really fried. It was more like white rice with a heavy dose of soy sauce. Definitely not worth the upgrade....no peas, carrots or eggs to be found. Quite a disappointing experience with that alone. The bathroom needed a little TLC....broken/empty soap dispenser and the toilet looked pretty unclean. I must note that the only, cashier/expo/front of house was hustling and doing an exceptional job. I'm sure there wasn't enough time between doing all her jobs to QA the bathroom.
