Had a lovely anniversary evening with family and friends. Food and service was great and as requested there was a bouquet of flowers. Despite making reservations late and only an 8:00 opening we weren't rushed and except for the bar we were the last people to leave. Thanks for a great evening. read more

A fabulous fine dining restaurant! The tables were perfectly set, the room was beautiful with quiet music playing. The service was excellent. And the food-wow! It was exceptional. We had tasted wines earlier and then took a bottle to dinner with us and it could not have been better. We ate breakfast here the next morning (included with the room) and it was equally delicious. This is a very special winery and restaurant. Don't pass up the chance to experience it. read more

Stopped by for a wine tasting and also enjoyed a few bites as well. Their duck with goat cheese flat bread drizzled with balsamic vinegar was the winner! Charcuterie board was also delicious, paired with a glass of Power red wine. read more

Had a great time at Kiepersol this afternoon. We started out with a tasting with Maysen who was absolutely fantastic. She was super knowledgeable and so much fun. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. We finished the day with an early dinner at the restaurant. The staff was amazing, and the food & wine were excellent. read more

Best upscale dining in the entire Tyler area. Your money actually buys quality food and incredible service here.

Kiepersol is a beautiful winery, distillery, bed and breakfast, and restaurant tucked away in the piney woods of East Texas just south of Tyler. The food, service, and ambiance are all top notch from the moment you pull into their parking lot until the time you pay your check. read more

The grand tasting room is a great place to relax and visit with friends while enjoying an endless supply of wine and spirits. The restaurant always fills up, so reservations are recommended. Our steaks were prepared flawlessly, but were slightly overpriced in my opinion. We stayed overnight in the bed & breakfast and that was the biggest disappointment. The mattress was worn out, lumpy, and shaped like a bowl. There was no door or partition separating the bathroom from the bedroom. I'd come back for a meal, but I'm not staying. read more

Our meals were delicious! The ambience was amazing and we enjoyed our sweet waitress! I had never ordered Eggs Benedict but it was an excellent breakfast served with fresh hash browns and Filet! We also had French toast and Pancakes with bacon slices! All 5 meals were perfect. The prices were well in line with other restaurants but to eat at Kiepersol was special! read more

Amazing service, from alex up front to Riley as our server, the food was too good to stay uneaten on the table. Must try the chilean sea bass! read more

The atmosphere was awesome! Total dinner date night! Rustic and classic! I took my bride here for our 20 year wedding anniversary and it was exactly what I wanted for her. read more

Best restaurant in Tyler, TX. Go with the Seabass crusted in lump crab, zero disappointment to be had by this dish. Attentive service coupled with impeccable timing of dishes being brought out equal a delightful experience. Personally, I would skip the crab cakes though. Oysters Rockefeller are a hit, same to be said with the shrimp cocktail. Bottled wine prices (this being a vineyard) are beyond reasonable. Take the golf cart back and forth from the restaurant to the vineyard/tasting rooms, just ask politely and they will accommodate! read more

Avoid this place. We had high hopes but it was a huge disappointment. Every steak we ordered was overcooked, the shrimp were so rubbery you could bounce them off the plate, the potatoes needed salt and the service was comparable to sizzler. For the price, this was an awful experience. read more

food, service, and ambience was phenomenal! my steak was cooked perfectly and had amazing flavor! our waitress, Allie, was so nice and did a wonderful job! 10/10 experience overall! read more

This was our second trip here. We stayed in the stable, visited the Grand Room for a tasting and snacks. Later we went to the bar for recommendations from Emily! The wine is superb (not a word I use often). The cocktails are excellent as well. The meals we had were amazing and the staff is hands down the best!! We will be back again soon!! read more

Took a food and wine tasting class for Galentines Day and had a BLAST!! We learned quite a few interesting facts about the history of wines, how they're made, how to smell/taste the difference between them, and a lot of Kiepersol history, too. Our instructor was wonderful. The selection of wines were also explained as well as how they may pair to the food bites. She kept us engaged every step of the way and did an outstanding job with the class. Even in the cold of February there were still so many beautiful places to see and take great pictures. 10/10 read more

We recently dined here for our anniversary. While the ambiance remains excellent, the service and food quality has fallen sharply since a previous visit 13 years ago. The menu options were poorly explained leading to unexpected charges. The wait staff appeared to want to be anywhere else. The crab cakes were quite unremarkable. $70 steaks should be tender and tasty, not grisly, tough, and flat. They only serve wine and spirits produced inhouse and those were good but pricier than you might expect. read more

Excellent wine. Great boards. Excellent spirit options as well. Great for a celebration or get together with family and friends.

Had a fantastic dinner here on a business trip to Jacksonville. Very nice upscale rustic atmosphere on beautiful property. We sampled a number of appetizers, I had a fillet, and key lime pie for dessert. Food and service were excellent quality, on par with any upscale restaurant back home. Good wine selection which I believe are all from the winery there. Overall a great dinner experience! read more

Best restaurant in Tyler. Enjoyed crunchy fried calamari, shrimp Caesar's salad and chicken breast with an out of this world cream sauce. I wanted to like this place more than I actually did. This is a quaint rustic style family dining experience that has fairly traditional cuisine but executed at a two star level. I took my wife to this place based on a recommendation from a friend. The food was fair but definitely not at the price point we paid. Needless to say I was disappointed. I ordered Seabass which was slightly overcooked and my wife's steak was far too salty. This in combination of the warm salad and unoriginal menu gives me the feeling that price is not always a good indicator of quality. read more

Wonderful dining experience here. I took my wife and my mother here for dinner service. Everything was delicious. Oysters Rockefeller were outstanding. Steaks cooked to perfection. Paired great with their own wine! The waitstaff was right on time. This is fine dining East Texas Style. read more

We went for breakfast for a change of pace. Hubby and I both ordered the eggs Benedict that comes with filet. It's served with the steak in chunks and chunky potatoes. Over easy eggs on top, with Hollandaise sauce. Steak was tasty, eggs had zero flavor, potatoes were slimy, hollandaise sauce was tasteless. And it really needed toast in the side so you could sop it all up! I heard a lady next to us ask for some toast for that reason. Our waiter said he gets asked they all the time. Soooooo take a hint chef! It needs toast! And add some more flavorful cheese to the squad. Oh and Perhaps a better grade of eggs. read more

East Texas isn't known for amazing food... but this place is amazing. The ambiance, the staff, the food.... all wow... on top of that the wine (rose is ideal) is incredible.
