Small winery in a country setting! Vineyard and 3 acre lake make sitting on the patio drinking their wines very enjoyable!

Quaint winery on a back country road. The owner was great and makes you feel very welcome.

Moving to east Texas from the unparalleled Central Coast of California wine region (where there are…read moreover 250 wineries in Paso Robles alone), and being a bit of a wine snob (No, really?), we've been slightly disappointed {understatement} in the wine around these parts. The Lindale festival we attended a few weeks ago was, um, different...and actual tasting rooms here are scarce (even tho someone said there are 30!?) BUT--today we went to M6 Winery in the nearby teeny town of Bullard and...it was GREAT!! Cutely designed, little house-style "tasting room", with room at the tasting bar for only one set of customers. Everyone else sits at various tables in that room and anteroom, or, where they seated us, in the party/barrel/winemakers dinner room. Industrially-styled with a Texas flair and big roll-up glass doors on either side--super cute! Gotta say I've never had a wine tasting sitting at a table where they bring you each pour, but our waiter was so Texas-friendly and informative, it was really nice! We ordered their charcuterie platter and it was beautiful and delicious--Venison sausage, even! We tasted all 13 wines on the list and liked nearly half of them, loved the Blue Norther! Don't get me wrong, it's not California wine by any stretch of the imagination--but some of the grapes are. So, we embraced the uniqueness and really enjoyed our afternoon experience there, good live music and all. The one thing I would suggest to the owners is that they waive the tasting fee if you purchase a bottle of wine or join the wine club, it's how it's done. We'll be back, cheers!

Enjoyed our visit to this little tasting room. Due to COVID, we opted to sit outside. (We were…read moresurprised that the staff did not wear masks). There were several tables so we could spread out, and a food truck serving delicious hibachi. We opted for wine flights, allowing us to try 5 different kinds. I actually liked them all! Ended the evening with the cocoa wine which is phenomenal.

I had the distinct pleasure of visiting a little jewel of a winery in West Texas today...Valle…read moredella Pace!!! I arrived hungry and they offered me 5 different options of Italian style pizza in keeping with their Italian style wines. It was larger than a flatbread and smaller than a typical Napolitano pie and it was rectangular versus circular and I polished the whole thing off while tasting through 4 of their delightful and unique wines. I started with the owner's suggestion of Blondie, their Blanc du Noir. What you immediately notice is the balance of acidity and fruit in this very affordable wine, as are all of their wines. I then tasted their Albariño, a bottle I'm taking home on the plane back to the Napa Valley. Next the owner's Son, Josh, suggested the RAM Shiraz which reminded me a bit of a California Pinot due to the color but wasn't as dry or fruit forward as Pinots often are. I finished with their Cabernet Sauvigon -Whiskey Barrel. Talk about a Cab you never tasted before. There was a hint of Whiskey on the nose and more than a hint of Whiskey on the palate...the barrel definitely infused its personality into the wine. Finally I had to have their Cheescake and as you can see in the pic it was drizzled in chocolate. That's Dr Don, the Owner posing with dessert. If you want to expand your East Texas winery day, I strongly encourage you to visit Valle della Pace.

Way off half typical beaten path this tasting room is a refreshing site for oenophiles. A nice…read moresmall tasting room with friendly people serving and teaching you about their wines. Their wines are average at best, but you have to give them an "A" for effort. If you're in the area, I'd suggest stopping by just to get a flavor of wine from this part of Texas. However, I wouldn't make a special trip because you'll be disappointed. I suggest trying their reds over their whites.
