We've seen them at their best and at their worst. Two months ago, my husband and I ate here and LOVED it! We recommended to family to come here to celebrate three family birthdays. We had a 6:00 reservation for ten people. It was 7:00 before we received the chips and queso. It was also supposed to come with green sauce. I didn't want to ask for it because it would have taken even longer. Not to mention that we got two different kinds of cheese and chips. All of our meals trickled out over 45 minutes. Our drinks were empty for at half the time we were there. We were not paid out until 8:00. I will say, they comped most of our meals and drinks, for which I was thankful. My husband and I will probably try it again, but we won't bring a large group again. read more

We walked in around 6 on a Saturday evening. It wasn't busy but it wasn't dead. We sat down and waited for 15 minutes. Not one person looked our way or spoke to us, so we left. Very unfortunate that they can't provide good service. read more

Beautiful large facility with great food, wine, and entertainment. The service was very good. The only drawback is that the bathrooms were single rooms. Both times I needed to use the restroom I had to wait in a line of 5 or 6 women waiting to get their chance. I actually ended up using the men's restroom, but had to clean the toilet seat before I could use it. That is the only reason for only giving 4 stars. I hope they consider adding more restrooms to accommodate the size of the restaurant. read more

Overall, I really enjoyed this restaurant. The service was great, and the food came out in a timely manner. I also went on a Saturday when they had live music. Something to note is there was a $10 cover charge, but no biggie. I got the rowdy fries, which were yummy. They gave me a good size portion, and they were tasty. Basically, they are queso fries with brisket, sooo good. I also got a wine flight, all sweet wines which were sooo good. Overall, a great place. I do recommend making a reservation! read more

Rowdy Creek is special. Owner Harold and his beautiful wife have created a first class tasting room, events hall, on-site housing and a great spot for an afternoon and evening visit. A beautiful lake, horses corn-hole, ping-pong and a very spacious layout to hang both inside and outdoors. Fantastic food, a huge selection of wines and wine slushies, an incredible charcuterie board and very friendly servers. Got there very close to kitchen closing Sunday afternoon. Our waitress kindly asked if we would be wanting anything and put our order in before the kitchen closed. I had the chicken salad with gluten-free crackers and hubs and the nachos. Both were excellent and the nachos were huge! He had a glass of the sauvignon blanc and I did a tasting with the chardonnay, dry blanc du bois and their sparking wine. He loved his glass. I preferred my flight. The chardonnay was my favorite, but the Sparkling was a close second. We both enjoyed it and left with a bottle. The atmosphere and staff were amazing. Service was excellent. The atmosphere and decor is cute and area is beautiful. We were disappointed with one Cabernet selection which is an average wine at best. We had the smoked chips and queso which was burnt or simply overcooked with salsa basically untouched. We just walked in and expected much more. This place was SO cute! I have family in Longview (about 20 minutes away) and we came here for some after-dinner drinks one night when we were visiting. Ambiance: It's very country/farmhouse-chic. The property as a whole is gorgeous. There's a pond for fishing, a big outdoor area, and an even bigger indoor area with plenty of tables and seating. They had live music and dancing as well. Food: We only had the peach cobbler for dessert but that was so good it had me looking at the menu. There are so many things I'd like to try. Drinks: I tried the cab and the rose and both were great. This is a super cute little winery. It's a pretty big property with options to camp or just come in for a drink. They offer a wine flight so you can taste multiple wines. I really enjoyed the sweet red alligator wine and my frozen wine Slushie. Definitely recommend for drinks, but the food was disappointing. We got the nachos and they were definitely lacking. This place was so good! Will definitely be back. Me and friends went when the Covie band came to play and it was a great vibe. Cute little wine tasting was perfect. And food was great! Sometimes food at winery's can be a hit or miss but I enjoyed my nachos and were very filling. Slushy was super good. We did want to end with a dessert of the s'mores board but was told it was seasonal only during fall/winter which makes sense. So we will be back to enjoy that as well! This was my first time going and it was great! The food was good and the wine. I had the pasta with shrimp and it was filling. We also went when they had a live band and they played some great music! The atmosphere was great! Please note that the S'mores board is not year round. We had such a fun time out with friends and even got to meet the owner, Bolnick. From the beautiful setting, to the live music, to the legit uh-mazing wine, this place is THE place for a date night! My mom brought my sister and I here on a Saturday afternoon. I'm not a big fan of wine, but we shared a flight and I was surprised that I found two white wines that I actually liked! We also shared a charcuterie board which was really yummy and had lots of variety. It was the perfect amount for the three of us to snack on throughout the afternoon. They had live music indoors and various outdoor seating areas. It looks to be dog friendly, and the ranch even has a couple cats wandering around! Their wine slushees were okay, (extremely sweet, a little to much for my pallet), they also had a food truck that offered entrees. As the sun started to set they lit fires in three of the fire pits outside and there were kids sharing a s'mores charcuterie board! The lawn also had corn hole and connect four if you are interested in playing games. Next time I'm in Longview visiting family, we will certainly be coming back. read more

Great food... LOVED the street Tacos, veggie style and tried the Taco Salad and Nacho Fries....but the wine is what you want here! Try their New Merlot. If you like a sweeter white, you will love the Sweet White wine (that's what they called it ;). I noticed several guests ordered the Charcuterie Board which was beautifully arranged. I am so very excited about this new winery and vineyard in East Texas. We love traveling around to wineries all over but to have such a great one this close to where we live is a game changer for the East Texas wine lovers! Their wine is delicious, as well as the food and the setting and atmosphere is just what we were looking for! We will definitely be back several times a month and I'm happy to say our fridge at home will be will stocked between those times thanks to there great prices and the bottle club perks! You can really tell that the staff and owners are all truly invested in giving their guests an experience not just a place to eat and drink. I really felt like I knew them and they knew what we liked by the end of the night! We cannot wait to see what's to come with this amazing new winery in lil ole East Texas! We stayed here overnight through Harvest Host which means we got to park our RV on their property for the night and venture over to the winery. We enjoyed a delicious dinner from the food truck and a tasty glass of wine. We even took a bottle home with us. My young boys even loved running around and seeing all the decor and the property. He gave my wife and I a grand tour of the grounds and it's very beautiful. The food is excellent and the service we received was impeccable. We felt more like family than patrons. The Rowdy Creek Cab wine is my wife's favorite. The Rowdy Creek Pale Ale draft is my favorite. My wife and I have decided to make this place a part of our places to go when we have date night.
