Stopped by for lunch on our way back to Dallas. We were immediately greeted warmly by the bartender, Summer. We ordered a Coke and a beer then lunch. I got the chicken sandy and my bf got the Drafthouse burger. Both were fantastic and cooked perfectly. The burger could have used some salt but that's ok! Service was fantastic, food was top notch and we'll definitely be back next time we're in town!!! read more

The burger was good. That is all. Only a few people there and the food took forever. The onion rings were cold. Took forever to get the check. Took forever to get cashed out. Won't go back. read more

We enjoy the food even with the limited menu. We really like sitting outside to eat and listening to the music when they have a live musician. One of the waitresses is pretty slow, but the atmosphere is relaxed and we enjoy ourselves. read more

Go-to spot in Jacksonville. Just wish they were open more often. Food has never disappointed and stellar selection of craft beer.

The food was good the first 3 times then it made my mouth dry.Service is alright not the best.Ambiance is ok not the best music

Legit place on a Friday night. Stopped on the way to a football game but wish we could have stayed longer. Good music and local vibe. Great specialty mixed drinks. Will stop again next time through if I can! *don't expect fast service or food delivery- this is the kind of place where you have a drink and relax waiting on your food. Where the drink and food are both fresh so it takes a minute but it's worth it. In a hurry, Taco Bell is close by. read more

Awesome food and atmosphere. I just wish they were still open for lunch Hubby had CFS. Best he's had in a long time. Can't remember what I had but it was good. read more

Seems like it is probably a cool place to go to see a band, have a few drinks and some bar food to nosh on. We stopped in for lunch and were the only ones in the place. The service was quick and pleasant. The food was not fantastic. I got the salmon Cesar salad, which was a basic Cesar salad with shredded salmon on top. The salmon was so dry that I needed twice the dressing to make it edible. The chips and queso weren't bad. read more

It is a bit of an eclectic barn of a place. I held a company dinner here with over 20 people and we all thought the location to be quite interesting. It has a few pool tables, a long bar, a back room, a mix of seating tables, and an assortment of chairs. Nothing matches and the place looks in a bit of a yet to be finished kind of way. Definitely not a upscale business, impress a client or boss kind of place, but for a get to know your coworkers and management team meal I don't think we could have truly found better... especially in Jacksonville TX! However, let me tell you... let me paint a better picture... let me "esplain" it to you the way it went down... They have a pretty good beer selection on tap. I had the founders porter... dark and thick with a big bold coffee flavor, just the way a porter should be! Their fried cheese curds transported me back to Wisconsin, the home of the cheese nugget called curd. Then there was the chicken fried steak smothered in gravy, with pork rinds and thick cut fries... OHHHH MY GODDIE... TOOOO HOTTIE!! The chicken fried steak was tender, light golden brown and doing the back stroke in a pool of gravy that boasted a hint of pepper flavor... it was perfect! Put some sriracha on the pork rinds and they basically sang the national anthem in your mouth!! Normally I don't like think cut fries but these are crispy and when dipped in the gravy just completely impossible to stop eating! Our bartender and both servers were just fantastic! Food came out on time, our bartender never made us wait, and everyone was very very nice. What a true find in Jacksonville TX... next time I'm in town again I know where I'll be going to eat! read more

Nice local brewery style bar/pub with a few craft beers that appear to rotate. They are not a full bar so no liquor but they do have wine. The patio area is covered with tables and a couch set. There are toys for the kids to play with and the typical brewery games i.e. cornhole/bean bags and jenga. The staff was polite and attentive. read more

Love this place, me and my family came here for our 21st Birthday, me and my brother instantly loved this place, food is amazing, drinks are good, they also have live music here which takes it to a whole other level. Will definitely come back here again. read more

Awesome cheeseburger and thick seasoned fries. The staff is very friendly and goes out of their way to make sure the guest is satisfied. The only think I can criticize is how dangerous the entrance is. There's about an 8 inch drop step that is flush with the door frame. Does not effect the food quality or service read more

Good food, live music on weekends, outdoor seating, friendly staff. I love the fish and chips and chicken fried steak. Excellent burgers and chicken sandwiches. Full bar. Some craft beer. A little noisy at times. Prices not outrageous but not the cheapest. All around good time. read more

Nice place with a friendly staff. Large variety of beers & a few decent wine options. Hubby had the chicken fried steak, mac & cheese, & fried brussle sprouts. The chicken fried steak was a great piece of very tender meat & a crunchy crust. Appreciate the gravy served on the side thus keeping it crispy. Tasty, creamy mac & cheese. The fried brussle sprouts were interesting with the honey drizzle. I ordered the meat loaf, which is really meat balls. Now, I'M SUPER PICKY, but with that said, they were very dry & served luke warm. My side salad was super fresh & I loved their basalmic dressing. The patio area is nice with a covered option & a large grassy area for kids to play & run around. Pet friendly too - so added bonus points! Live music too!! We'll be back again! read more

First time eating here saw this place and n yelp thought I would try it out. The chicken fried steak was tender, tasty mashed potatoes and Brussel Spouts. I won't recommend the cheeky tacos. Corn tortillas was dried out. Meat tasted like brisket. Not enough sauce to taste. Just tasted like brisket in a dried out tortilla. read more

First time here. Pretty limited menu. Had the chips, salsa & queso, which was just ok. The burger was outstanding, the best thing we had. They have house made potato chips that were good too. Happy hour from 2-5, with $2 off appetizers and $1 off drafts. Husband LOVED the Turning Point IPA. It was served in a small glass - must be a beer thing. Service was great. Ashley was very sweet. The atmosphere was great. I believe they have Bingo once a week, which we'd be back for just to have drinks with. read more

Great find! In Jacksonville to check out River Run ATV Park and stopped in for lunch. Massive loaded baked potato with a large amount of pulled pork. Smokey Chick Sandwich was also large and full of smokey flavor. Homemade chips were also delicious. We will be back. This is a great place for large groups and they have a large outdoor area as well. read more

Outstanding Discovery. Passing through Jacksonville around dinner I found their listing, but passed it bye, twice. Read it again and we decided to try it and are lad we did. Nice place with a homey touch for furniture. Menu is not extensive, but covers the bases. Great selection of beers. I had a Bock that was on tap and it was a really nice surprise. It is from a brewery in Fort Worth. I had the grilled Chicken with vegetables and I was blown away with the quality of the entire dish. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and cooked. Fresh broccoli was my vegetable and was beautifully trimmed and cooked. There was a side of Texas Toast that I usually ignore these days, but this was again so perfectly prepared that I are all of it. My son had a chicken burger that was a home run. The quality of the food and pleasant staff made this place an absolute treasured find. We will stop in next time we are near Jacksonville. read more

Good food. Good service and friendly people and live music. Good choice of beers domestics and local. I definitely recommend it.

The burger was great and so was the draft beer. Great service and a pleasant atmosphere

We ended up here on a fluke. So glad we did! The beer was cold and the tenders were very kind and hard working! Made date night 10x better. Can't wait to see what the place looks like when we come back to town. Jacksonville is a better place because of small businesses like this! read more

A group of us descended on the Commerce Street Draft house a couple of weeks ago and had a really pleasant Friday night. The staff was really friendly and attentive. Most of us drove nearly an hour to get there and felt it was worth the trip. There was live music by a guy who was really versatile and worth hearing. Everyone enjoyed their food, I believe, and prices are very reasonable. The beer selection was good, completing the trifecta of beer, food, and music. It was a great place for friends to meet and enjoy a nice meal. Get over to Jacksonville and check it out for yourself. read more

My fiancé and I went here on a Friday night. Came around 7 and expected to wait at least a little while for service but we were greeted and taken care of almost immediately. A young duo was performing an acoustic set inside and sounded fantastic but weren't so loud we couldn't talk or order. The inside is extremely charming in a mismatched kind of way. The tap list was fantastic and their house cocktails were delicious. We each had the burger and spinach artichoke dip and they were phenomenal. I was pleasantly surprised with the food. We had six people in our party we ended up having the fish and chips, the chicken basket, chicken fried steak, burger . The food overall was spot on everything was cooked really well and the fries were so tasty. for an appetizer we had cheese curds which could've been better in my opinion but I go to Milwaukee frequently so maybe I'm just biased. I thought Service was a little slow and I say that because they weren't that busy. read more

Even though the menu is limited, it sure is tasty! The beer listing is constantly changing, so there is no guarantees that one you like will be there. But it's a chance to try something new. However, they almost always have local Texas beers. The food is delicious and filling, always tastes fresh. read more

Completely inflexible on house special sides. Perfect example: if you want their pork, you must take asparagus. You can't change for a veggie you actually like without an up charge. Found this place on Yelp, after having a great day at Cherokee Trace, and wanted a bite to eat and a drink before heading home to Tyler. The decor is what I call Industrial Chic...the chairs don't match, there is loads of exposed brick and lots of aluminum siding. The menu is small by my standards, as is the beer selection. Mostly IPAs, which isn't a problem with me. All the employees seemed chill and welcoming. Will absolutely return read more

I absolutely LOVE going to the Drafthouse! They have the BEST food! The burger, the Big Chief, fish and chips, chicken strips and OMG the FRIES! New desserts each week are amazing - there are just so many reasons to give this place a try! read more

Disappointed - had we not had to pay when we ordered we would have left. After 45 min I asked about my appetizer (cheese curds). The staff couldn't answer how much longer but made excuses that the kitchen was backed up. A few moments later my husbands food came I was then asked what I ordered. After 20 min he stopped eating to wait for mine. Mine finally came with no appetizers still. After I was done eating I asked for them in a Togo box. For $8 bucks the portion was very small and over cooked as half of them were empty. The reviews were great so we stopped but wish we would of kept going 2 hours for dinner is crazy given we didn't wait to order. Definitely not worth the $40 bucks we spent read more
