I forgot to take a photo of my burger - so here are the remnants of my burger.

Very great find! If you are passing through - I highly recommend. Service is great - order at the bar then go find your place to sit inside or in the patio area. Staff is great. Food as you can tell is great - I did order rare and got medium done. Think hubby got my rare burger. Even though it was still tasty. Ambiance was relaxed and comfortable.

We are visiting Palestine this week and this is one of the places recommended to me.We were initially put off by the greeting we received from one of the bartenders; she didn't particularly seem to want us there. However, after we stepped away to review the menu and came back to order, we spoke with a different bartender who was fabulous. We sat outside on the patio and waited for our food. The fried pickles were good, but not the best we've ever had; the breading was a little thick. However... I ordered a bison burger and it was amazing! Juicy, great texture, really good. Their curly steak fries were to die for. I would have been happy with just those. The slaw was ok, a little sweet. My husband had the 1 Little Piggy and really enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend!

A drafthouse that offers nonalcoholic beer is always going to get a gold star in my book! On top of that, all the food I ordered was super tasty. Green grilled cheese sandwich Tomato basil soup Blue cheese fondue fries Would definitely come back if I ever find myself back in Palestine!

Arrived at 3 pm with a group of 7 adults and 5 kids on a Monday. Friendly staff and fairly fast service. We ordered a few beers, chili, kids chicken tender baskets, Philly cheesesteak and Cuban sandwich. Food wise everything was good. Service is very laid back. You order at the bar and take a seat. I can see how this plays might be a bigger hit during the summer. Unfortunately, we went during the winter lol but will visit again when we are back out this way.

Found this little gem after taking a scenic railway ride. This little draft house is AMAZING. Ok ok ok- I hear ya, how can a draft house be that good. Well.... it's the Owner that makes the difference. I'm not generally a beer drinker. But my friend is and I'm willing to try new things so that's how we landed here. We sat at the bar and Chris patiently listened to me explain I don't like beer- so, what does he do? He suggests I tell him what I do like and then let him suggest a few to taste. That was a cool idea. And he was really amazing at explaining the different beers and their flavors and scents and well... he truly made the night just a lot of fun. So, do I now like beer- uhm, no. But did I have a fantastic evening at this Drafthouse- heck yeah ! Also had to post the pic of fries- these are delicious and really you just should plan to buy a plate of them with tour drinks

It could be how great the weather is today or the wonderful company I'm with, but really enjoying our time here at the Pint and Barrel. Have a little dessert that they graciously allowed us to bring from across the street from the Oxbow General Store. A nice slice of chocolate pecan pie. Good beer selections, good food.

    Huge front door. Love it!

There's plenty of nice local establishments, but some can be pricey and some are just more casual than you want. Scott Williams has perfected the restaurants of Tyler that are balanced between affordable and still quite nice. He got his toes in the water with FDs, before expanding into Javi's, Twelve, and now the fanciest of them all in III Palms. I thought of all those options, Twelve would be the most unique and tasty for my girlfriend and I. We went in an hour before they closed on a Sunday and were seated immediately. We weren't too hungry so we didn't expect to be there past their closing time, and we were ready to go. Our waiter was quick and attentive, bringing us water and helping us decide on drinks from the bar and our order. He also showed us their insane over-the-top whiskey menu. If you like whiskey, give Twelve a shot I guess. To order, I just got their 'Osaka Style' Pressed Roll while my girlfriend got a Sushi Bowl Salad. We got Sweet Potato Fries to share. As for drinks, I started with their Monkey See, Monkey Do, an impressive and firm beverage, while my girlfriend ordered their Destin Dream, a fun Pina Colada-like drink. It wasn't long before our food came out. The sushi was beautifully plated with some wasabi and pickled ginger on the side. I destroyed all the rolls. They were all very fresh and very high quality, which was remarkable for their $13.50 price tag. My girlfriend's sushi bowl looked insane. She ate most of it, but I filled the gaps and devoured the rest of it. The sweet potato fries were crispy and heavenly like all sweet potato fries usually are. I felt adventurous and I got a second drink of their Rose Garden, which was simple but flavorful. Compared to FDs, the menu might be a little more sea-inspired and more adventurous, but I think it leads to better, more unique food, especially with offerings like Oyster Rockefeller and a sushi bar. I also know Twelve does a great brunch as well, so keep that on your radar. Ultimately, as the bill came, the price was very manageable even with the alcohol. It's nice that you don't fully have to break the bank to have a nice meal in Tyler thanks to places like Twelve. I rate it a 12/10. Get it? hahahaha... RIYL: A slightly adventurous, but affordable night out.
