Crazy weekend at Royal Kids! So first off haven't been here in awhile and decided to go last Saturday. Maybe not my best decision. The line was out the door to the theatre. My son loves this place and so do I, where else are you going to go with no time limit and tire yourself out. Maybe Disneyland (but that's also cost a mortgage payment, lol). Anywho staff is amazing, always cordial and smiling despite how some people treat them. They're servers seemed pretty slow and had a full house. While this nice man was organizing the line - it seemed he and everyone in line was hit by a mob of angry parents. (Most of which all knew each other). So we had been in line for about 10 min, line was moving at a good rate or so I thought. When all we started hearing was yelling inside the lobby and it seemed everyone started pushing their way in - ignoring the direction of the man at the door. Poor guy looked helpless. There was a lady in black checking people in and another one on a laptop who was being attacked the most. Apparently that angry mob had it out for her. Every time I would see her she's doing one thing or another but always bombarded. Regardless, of the adults cursing at her she kept her poise. She was explaining entrance steps to some adults when others in that party would throw their kids over the gates. This infuriated many of us who were waiting. I believe they were there for a party. She seemed to constantly have to pause to organize them and it was holding everyone else back. Thankfully she had a couple of other girls come in and handle separate large groups so the rest of us could finally go in. The staff was kind enough to thank us for waiting and apologized for the disruption. It's business I guess, but kudos to the staff who had to deal with such a mob and still smile through and through. Once we finally made it inside, we had a blast. Only suggestions would be to have more monitors on the floor. My boy was pushed by an older teenager who was using foul language. We told a staff member but when they approached that person they seemed to only get angrier. Staff there has a really had job and I for one wanted to let them know - I appreciate their efforts. I would only urge management to place more people on the floor especially on weekends. 1 kid threw up and they were quick to clean it up and close off the area but at the same time I guess something happened In the toddler section. So everyone seemed to run around like headless chickens. PARENTS also need to monitor their kids. So many were running around doing things they shouldn't - seriously people I think the state offers parenting classes for free. Rather than being stuck on their phones - they should be monitoring their children. Regardless of the crazy weekend we are looking forward and excited for next month - having our birthday party at Royal Kids! I promise my guests are well mannered and we won't be throwing children over the gates. read more

I am extremely concerned and disappointed with the subpar conditions and lack of employee accountability during our recent visit to South Gate Kids Empire. *Unsatisfactory Conditions* 1. *Unhygienic Play Area*: My son sat on urine-soaked surfaces in the jungle gym/play area, which is unacceptable and poses serious health risks. 2. *Filthy Floors*: The floors were visibly dirty, with no evidence of regular sweeping or cleaning. 3. *Unattended Trash and Belongings*: Chips, water bottles, and other items were left scattered throughout the common play area. 4. *Pervasive Odor*: The facility had a strong, unpleasant smell, indicating poor ventilation and hygiene practices. *Employee Negligence* 1. *Dereliction of Duty*: Employees were observed using their personal phones instead of attending to their responsibilities, ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the facility. 2. *Lack of Supervision*: The play area was not adequately supervised, allowing hazardous conditions to persist. *Health Concerns* Three days after our visit, my son contracted Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease (HFMD), which I strongly believe he acquired at South Gate Kids Empire, as it was the only public place he visited before falling ill. *Expectations* I expect South Gate Kids Empire to take immediate action to address these concerns, including: 1. *Enhanced Cleaning Protocols*: Regular and thorough cleaning of the facility, especially high-touch areas and play surfaces. 2. *Employee Training and Accountability*: Ensure employees understand their responsibilities and are held accountable for maintaining a clean and safe environment. 3. *Improved Supervision*: Provide adequate supervision of the play area to prevent hazardous conditions and ensure timely intervention when necessary. Had my daughter's 5th birthday party at the north olmsted location. I never received the discount for providing my own cake, staff had the children line and get ready for the Huggy parade, and then 5 minutes before the "start time", the employee claimed no one was available to do the parade. The manager for the location offered me a refund for the inconveniences and lack of discount. I never received the refund, so I contacted the company via their website like it tells you to do. The customer service rep Khi proceeded to lower the original amount I never received and flat out ignored my requests for an explanation or to speak to a supervisor. I STILL HAVEN'T RECEIVED A DIME. This company straight up stole from me by offering a discount for providing my own cake, I never received the discount. Then, completely disappointed my daughter by hyping the party up for an experience they knew they weren't able to provide, it wasn't like the employee got ill or had an emergency and had to leave, they knew they didnt have the staff. Horrible. I have not had ANYONE contact me to resolve this and I will not sit back idly and let this company lie and steal from customers. read more

One of the worse experiences ever Very young and unprofessional staff besides Arturo he was amazing and very sweet. Went on a field trip with my daughter and her school we didn't get inside until 11am and we arrived at 9:50am although they open at 10. Once in the kids enjoyed themselves but an incident happened where Skylee one f the staff members allowed young kids and their parents to be disrespectful to other adults which made the other adults react back due to the fact that the child and his mother were saying things like your people, your kind, you black b's ....while all of the kids were around so instead of asking the adult and her child to leave our children left and and we are outside of royal kids we were not even there for two hours But the business is horrible for conducting business the way they did and allowing racism they should be very ashamed I will never and I mean ever go back and I surely do not recommend it to any parents the only reason they got a star from me is because my daughter enjoyed herself after waiting basically an hour read more

I'll start off by saying this place is DIRTY! and they expect you to wear no shoes knowing how discussing the floor is I spent over $600 dollars at this place for my sons birthday and they did not do anything to accommodate us. We asked for a table for our food and drinks and they said no, they wanted us to do so much yet they did not let us bring in anything we wanted for my babies birthday. The staff was SO RUDE! And they where even rude towards the kids. The men's restroom was clogged and they didn't offer a solution they where rude to my guests and wanted to make them pay more money even though my guests told them they where part of a party here. I asked one of the employees what his name was to report how rude he was being to my husband and myself and he said he was not allowed to give me his name so here is a picture of him. I recently visited Kids Empire and had such a great time watching the kids enjoy themselves! It's a clean, safe, and exciting play place that's perfect for children of all ages. The play structures are huge, colorful, and full of variety from climbing walls to slides, obstacle courses, and a dedicated toddler area. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the environment felt very secure. It's a fantastic option for birthday parties or just a fun day out. GHETTO. The only kids place I have been to where kids physically fight and parents fight as well and/or condone it. If you are educated have class and are not aggressive this PLACE is NOT for you. If you are ghetto, no education, like to be rowdy and you kids are aggressive problem starters, then have at it. YOU will be right at home. Staff are not well trained to handle these types of altercations. Police have to be involved - REALLY. It you do not want your childs future negatively affected by ghetto people then stay clear away from this place. read more
